I love to see blizzard learn from their mistakes. The comments this time around are optimistic! I was not expecting a crossover this soon, but so happy that it is. Season 3 will be best season yet!
@Nix yeah the credits in the bp. But also them admitting they were wrong about map pools and being more communicative for real this time. And this season has a lot more content than the past 2 with so many events that aren't recycled (pachimarchi is old, but it comes with a new gamemode) whereas last season 2 of the events had nothing new besides skins.
@janus wait, what? They literally had every reason to nerf mercy. She's the best support in the game next to Kiriko, and it's not even close. And with Kiriko, at least you can sometimes kill her, a good mercy is unkillable right now.
The OPM skin has me hyped like everyone else, but I'm also super pumped for that Invisible Man skin for Yeehaw-Man, looks sick (even if it looks a bit silly)
Absolutely loving all the new skins, and while the mercy balance changes hurt my soul, this season is looking to be an amazing season, and it makes me excited for the future of the game
@Xzavier Waters yeah, if you don’t do it perfectly the first time (and it’s teammate dependent in the first place) you’re basically screwed. I get they needed to readjust her movement from the ow2 changes, but this was not the way to do it. Personally I think changing the slingshot/superjump distance or speed/momentum would be a better option, and making the GA cd 2.25 seconds if not 2 seconds
@Tiger Gamer32 honestly yeah.. patch notes say 2.5 but they round it up to three and she’s practically defenseless during those three seconds, especially if u position yourself wrong or things don’t work.
@Xzavier Waters I don’t mind the changes to her passive or healing output, I don’t like the increased cooldown for GA, it feels so rigid when moving with her now, instead of how fluid it was before
Can't sing OW team's praises high enough for season 3. The restoration of many OW1 systems and designs, as well as some of these incredible skins, is awesome.
Honestly, I hope it doesn't. I don't want Overwatch 2 to be overpopulated like Fortnite is. Have a collab here and there, but don't just lose all creativity and start copying other skin ideas.

The average Paladins legendary skin has way more love and care put into it than the best mythic skin in Overwatch tbh. They couldn't even make the Junker Queen friendly ult voice line "Let's take em to the underworld!"
@SquareBoiz Probably more of an accessibility thing as to why Blizz doesn't do that, plus maintaining a high quality. Paladins is notoriously less polished and having confusing character design choices. Characters need to be instantly recognisable in a fast paced game and maintain core design choices so that the player isn't confused. Even with the mythic skin voice changes in OW, those are only client side. So in saying that, unless you want to destroy great design choices, I don't think Blizz will ever do wacky, extreme or completely different designs (like gender bending) on their heroes. They actually put great thought into each design and it has a purpose and meaning to it. Games like Paladins and Fortnite don't adopt the level of care Blizz does with its character designs. Great design goes unnoticed :)

I'm absolutely dying at the opm skin and cupid hanzo, but I'm even more excited for the sigma skins, as a sigma main this is the best season and a huge step in the right direction. I'm also writing this straight after I've just bought the beekeeper sigma skin on the first day.
Even though the game might not feel good at times (this season is already a step in the right direction), the design team NEVER fails to surprise me. These skins are sick! (speaking as a Hanzo main, I need that cupid one)
I'm so hype from seeing that One Punch Man Doomfist skin. I can't wait to see what other collabs they do next. Hoping for a Demon Slayer or Bleach Genji skin. A Dragonball related skin for a character would be cool too, maybe for Moira since they could give her ultimate a Kamehameha look. Though maybe something like a Jiren Rammatra skin would be really cool.

Season 2 felt a little disappointing in the skin department, but everything looks EPIC this time round! And no I was not punning the rarity. Regardless, I'm looking forward to it :)
Don't forget tanks being nerfed and roles being somewhat limited in arcade modes! I was an enjoyer of arcade in OW1 but with tanks being end game bosses in OW2 arcade mode just became whichever team has more tanks wins. I'm honestly hyped for arcade mode to honestly become the most balanced it's ever been (because in OW1 tanks were still the best heroes to play objectively).
Would love to see more in house crossover skins. So many wow and diablo characters would be perfect for skins (looking at you lich king and/or human form deathwing Reinhardt).

You did not think you could earn enough credits for the next battle pass? Like in other games (for example fortnite)? Nah. Pay up son. Don't forget that you can not use these credits for the new heros btw.
One punch doom is so good, and I think I speak for everyone when I say "do collabs like this" if the IP you want a collab with fits the hero and its high quality then I'm up for it. Also is there an emote of him doing pushup and situps 👀

I love how the new Mercy skin has bee wings (when you Ult, in the "Heroic" emote, in certain Highlight Intros, etc.). It's a shame it's not visible in the trailer.

Literally got jumpscared by both, in a good way, the doomfist one bcs that is such a good skin and its so cool they actually made it, the other because as a sigma main i am used to getting absolutely nothing for him everytime so i was pretty happy
The changes so far for this season are a step in a direction and I hope it stays in that direction. More good changes comes with positive steps in the direction c: Also excited for the Kiriko mythic skin. I've replaced my Ana for her since Overwatch 2 launch. She is now part of my Tracer, Winton, and now Kiriko trio.
@DeGarmo2 Mostly some of the system from OW1. Rn we don't have on fire system, end game card screen, the ability to show rank icon in comp, lfg system, and what's new in hero gallery. Some are coming in the future, but I feel they should've been in OW2 at launch.
Finally a season everyone will look forward to. We finally get better monitization and not having a new hero for the season will do wonders for balance
Now that we're having a One Punch Man cross over, I can imagine all sorts of future skin ideas. Like a Wrecking ball dressed up as Mario Bros inside a Chain Chomp!
I feel like we are moving in the right direction having seasons to simply improve quality of life. Please keep up the communication and listening to active players. I want this game to be successful for many years to come. The crossover is a really neat addition!

@Burnt Toaster No. I mean $20. most if the skins you have to buy are at least 1800 coins. If you didnt notice, you cant buy 1800 coins. You can buy 2000 coins for $20. Until they make it so you can buy 100 coin increments, the skins are $20.

Mercy changes were needed, two self healing passives was kind of a joke and underwhelming. Her new staff is pretty good imo.

Finally a season everyone will look forward to. We finally get better monitization and not having a new hero for the season will do wonders for balance
Now that we're having a One Punch Man cross over, I can imagine all sorts of future skin ideas. Like a Wrecking ball dressed up as Mario Bros inside a Chain Chomp!
I feel like we are moving in the right direction having seasons to simply improve quality of life. Please keep up the communication and listening to active players. I want this game to be successful for many years to come. The crossover is a really neat addition!

@Burnt Toaster No. I mean $20. most if the skins you have to buy are at least 1800 coins. If you didnt notice, you cant buy 1800 coins. You can buy 2000 coins for $20. Until they make it so you can buy 100 coin increments, the skins are $20.
