What an ABSOLUTELY EXTRAORDINARY video Jeb!!! Thank you so much for allowing all of us to share this experience with you. As always, just an incredible production from beginning to end. (But I already knew it would be, before I even watched). Your excitement was so genuine and infectious. CONGRATULATIONS on achieving this check mark on your bucket list. ❤
I have always wanted to go and work on Antarctica. I almost accepted a contract there, but my son was born and I did not want to leave my wife and family. Have you been to Nepal? If not, why not try traveling to Everest Base Camp next? Haha, not saying you have to summit. I’d love to just travel to Kathmandu. Nice video!
Something about this video is very emotional to me. It's my dream to one day do this trek also. I'm so happy you got to experience this. Not many people can legitimately say they "ran around the world". I hope you post more footage of this trip. This video was WAY too short.
It's a great video but honestly the experience itself is indescribable. Something you just gotta get out there and do yourself. Come up with a plan and then just do it!
Congrats Jeb, I’ve been enjoying your videos for several years now but this one is the icing on the cake. Antarctica is probably on almost everyone’s bucket list but few of us will ever make it, especially the South Pole. I know how much hard work you and Suzanne put into making these awesome video and you’ve truly earned this, and I can’t wait to see where you will bring us next!
When you say there is much more to come, I hope you mean more from this trip, because this video was waaay too short. 😢 On the other hand, seeing that this is a life long dream of yours, I’m not sure I would expect you to run around filming everything, but rather stay in the moment and enjoy it. You deserve that. ( Still hope there is more to come from this trip though, it’s awesome)
Jeb, it's not just the travel but your voice and demeanor in these videos that really are soothing. Believe it or not, your videos have helped me through some rough times and always bring a smile to my face at least once a video. You really love what you do and it shows. Just wanted to say a big, Thank you! And please keep it up, which I'm sure you will 👍
@Jeb Brooks Thanks, Jeb! My grandmother passed and was my best friend/travel partner. She was actually a travel agent for over 30 years back when that was still a thing haha. Your videos helped spark a need for adventure for me again after grieving. I just went to Vancouver, then Park City/ Yellowstone in the fall. Definitely doing better and thanks for the positivity and for helping spark my need for adventure to get "back on the rails!"
What an amazing video, Jeb. Much appreciation to your work on your channel & this visit. Had no idea that the south pole was at an attitude of 9,000 ft. What an entertaining & informative video.
Traveling to the South Pole and taking us with you has been a fantastic adventure, Jeb! Seeing you accomplish this, it feels like nothing is impossible. Perhaps someday you'll take us on a remote tour up to the edge of the Earth's atmosphere? We can dream!
Wow, I had no idea random people (so long as they can afford the cost) could visit the South Pole! I’m so happy for you, that weather didn’t block this ultimate bucket list experience. Congratulations! I hope to do the same someday. 👍🏻
Jeb, in the last few months I've followed you, you've skyrocketed to be my most favorite trip reporter. I absolutely appreciate your gratitude, your genuine care for getting the reports out, and your positivity. Thank you for taking us along to Antarctica and amazing video production. I'm so excited for the videos to come, keep it up!
Hey Jeb, I randomly came across your channel about 3 years ago when you did your review about British Airways A318 across the Atlantic and have been following you ever since. Your channel is truly a unique one for anyone who enjoys travel and I so glad I subscribed after watching my first video from you. From flight reviews, to unique and special flights, and all types of other transportation, it truly is a gem among travel channels. You’ve helped me explore and find joy in all new modes of travel that have truly changed my life and I really appreciate the time and effort you put into your videos. That said, I’m so happy that you got to experience an opportunity of a lifetime that many travel enthusiast could only wish for. I would love to do an Antarctic expedition at some point in my life, but it will have to wait. Until then, I will live vicariously through you my friend! Keep up the great work and awesome experiences! Thank you again for sharing and looking forward to more!
I've just recently started watching travel videos. And, I must say, your channel is tied at #1. It is the pure joy that comes through the screen. I have lots of catching up and I know I'll enjoy every trip I go on with you as my tour guide.
What a quite feat you did Jeb, making it all the way to the south pole. You seemed pretty emotional just before getting there showing us how much this meant to you 😊 keep on making the best vids out there 💪🏼
Huge Congratulations Jeb! I cannot wait to fly to the Antarctic someday! Woo Hoo! Also the name White Desert seems very fitting! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a better video from your channel! An A340-600 and a DC-3 Wow! 🤩 Cheers 🥂 and congratulations 🍾 🎉 Caleb
Just want to say, It always warms my heart to see how much you appreciate and value these incredible experiences. In in a world where so many people take everything for granted, youre truly one of the good ones. Thanks for sharing such an amazing experience with us!
Without a doubt one of my all time favorite videos. What a truly incredible experience. Not only into historical aviation, but a truly once in a lifetime journey.
I don't have the words I need to describe how I feel about this video. Amazing and awesome just don't do it, but that's about the closest I can come. Thank you for sharing this with us. You always teach me something new on every video. 😊
Jeb, what an utterly fantastic video. I too had no idea this was ever possible. Very emotional indeed. Congratulations for making it to the South Pole. Thanks again for all your work in bringing these moments to the rest of use. We can only dream. Cheers my friend.
It somehow feels appropriate that I’m watching this video as I watch the country roll by outside my window aboard an Amtrak train. Amazing trip, Jeb! Thanks so much for taking us along!
Wow! How far the South pole has come from Shackleton's expedition! Completely amazing! I can't believe Suzanne didn't want to go! Thank you for taking us along!
Wow!!! That was absolutely sensational! What an amazing trip. Love the way you've captured it and told the story. Well done mate, will be watching this one several times over.
CONGRATULATIONS, Jeb! What a thrill! You pulled this off with style! It didn't look like you were cold in any of your shots and your camera gear held up in that EXTREME environment.
Congratulations on fulfilling one of the things on your Bucket List ! Truly a wonderful feat! You looked so natural there in the snow. I think you LOVE snowy environments 🙂
I am so glad that you got to visit my favourite spot on the planet. I spent a season at South Pole Station and it was always a delight to see people taking in the enormity of the location from my dorm. This is absolutely your best video yet.
Awe Inspiring! Jeb you knocked it out of the park on this one. Your production seems effortless and it is a pleasure watching you fill your "bucket list". It's good to hear White Desert is as environmentally sensitive as it appears. Cool.
Amazing! I flew over the coastline of Antarctica once south of Australia and New Zealand and near Mt Erebus but we didn’t land and I’ll never forget it, but you actually went all the way and walked there! It really is remarkable and we have to pay our respects to those explorers who had to get there with dog sleds and no electronic communication!!
Jen, thank you so much for sharing your adventures. The thing I appreciate about you more than any other vlogger is your humility, gratefulness to do what you do and the genuine joy you convey to us in every video. Congrats on ticking the South Pole off your bucket list! I look forward to your future videos!
Now I can finally say “I’ve been to the South Pole” well, almost any way. Thank you for taking us on this incredible journey. Stay Safe and Keep the Blue Side Up
"Can you believe Susanne did not want to come on this trip" Damn right I can, I'm with Susanne on this one, Screw that for a game of soldiers, as we say over here. :) Glad you enjoyed it though, looked epic. Great content as usual. :)
Thanks Jeb, I now have something to put on my bucket list. I had no idea experiences like this existed, grateful to you and Suzanne for sharing this with everyone.
Congratulations, Jeb! Thank you! It was such a pleasure to share in your wonderful trip ~ amazing! We hope 2023 brings you even more prosperity and fun-filled experiences. 🎉
And I cried!! I’m so happy for him dreams do come true!!! Thank you for taking us on a journey with you around the world! I hope one day I get to see you at an airport 😂
Wow, what an amazing trip. The South Pole has always been one of my dream trips too. I even almost took a job in Antarctica, but ended up deciding against it. Congratulations on making it there.
Wow! I was unaware that you could fly to the south pole. Incredible videography and voice work! We always look forward to your new videos and we have watched more than a few of the older ones. Especially enjoyed the luxury train ride through the Andes last fall!
Your Antarctica travel vlog is definitely one of your best. What an adventure you must have had. I'm glad you travelled safely all the way to the South Pole and back! Wow!!!
Incredible video Jeb! My local airport YMHB is Australia's main aviation gateway to Antarctica. This means that over Summer we get RAAF C17 and A319 operations carrying freight to/from Antarctica. We also get Qantas 787 Dreamliners operating scenic flights.
Epic Video, Epic Journey, detailed and knowledgeable. Superb work Jeb and so happy for you that a big wish of yours came true and that you finally reached to your destination. I’m sure the excitement and adrenalin of reaching the South Pole pushes away the 5+2 hours flight time (plus refuelling) in a converted DC-3 with not much creature comforts😄 A big shout out to White Desert as well because from what we’ve seen, it’s no small feat at all to run their operation and the fact that nothing gets left behind including “waste”🙈
Thanks a Lot Jeb for showing us the spectacular sights of Antartica.....This will remain one of your TOP 5 Vlogs of all time....The Joy in your face as you landed in the South Pole is the testimony of that.....Keep rocking and show us the world....🙏
What a trip! It's the only way I'll ever see the South Pole! And your calm demeanor and voice helped make it okay to be there. SO glad you made it there and back okay!! And am very happy for you that you got to have a dream come true. Hugs
Great stuff Jeb! You could have made this video an hour+ and I would have been glued to it ! Hopefully you can show us some more video from this amazing trip
WOW!!! Dear Jeb, I would love to do such a trip too, but I guess, it will remain a dream... Thank you very much that you shared this adventure with us. A view years ago I did a trip like that in the other direction, I once flew to Rovaniemi, at the arctic circle in the north of Lapland! We landed at the home base of St. Claus! And we enjoyed a ride with an icebreaker, out in the frozen Arctic Ocean and a picnic out on the ice, amazing. But again, thank you very much for this video, I enjoyed it very much! Best regards from Wuppertal, Germany, yours, Wolfgang. 😃👍✈❄🥶🌍💫👋
Great video Jeb, although I don't share the same enthusiasm for Antarctica as you do. Also, a big thumbs up to the DC3 pilots for turning back when weather wasn't ideal. If I was to go there, I'd definitely fly with them.
Thanks, Jeb. I’m thrilled that you got to do something you’ve dreamed of doing since you were a boy. What an adventure! Thanks for taking us along. Great video. 😊
Though I understand Suzanne's reluctance, Antartica is truly spectacular. Congratuations on making it there and having such a wonderful experience. Look forward to the next one.
Yes, Jeb, I can believe Suzanne didn't want to go to the South Pole. I have no interest in going either. Some couples wouldn't do what you did. One taking on this journey without the other...so kudos to both of you there. I do apprieciate that it takes a LOT of people and energy to make this trip happen. Thanks for sharing it with us! That said....maybe Suzanne can take us along on a trip of her own in the future? Until next week.
This is the most incredible and most impressive video yet! Jeb, only you, could ever show us the Antarctic this way! I never know where you will be next! Thank you.
Definitely one of the coolest videos you’ve done! (pun intended) I certainly didn’t expect to see something like this! I wasn’t even aware you could take a trip down to the South Pole! Excellent video! Is Virgin Galactic next?!?! 😮
Blimey, I follow a number of flight/train/transport reviewers on KZclip, each great in their own ways, but I never though I’d see one of them catch a flight to 90 degrees south. Well done Jeb, if there was an Oscar for best flight vlog, you’d be the winner 😁
Great video. Antarctica looks really tough to do stuff there but I am so proud that you managed to go there and even make it to the South Pole. Can’t wait for more videos!
What an absolutely amazing and beautiful video. I hope you do a Part 2 and show more of the South Pole and the return back to civilization. Would love to see more of the South Pole, with some more explanation of what is there and how it got there, and about your landing strip. Most of your shots from the South Pole were covered up by links to other videos! Amazing and congratulations!
You are thanking us, well you are welcome. But it is us that should be thanking you for all that you do to bring us stunning V logs like this. The excitement you are showing and feeling is making us feel the same way. A truly amazing trip, safe travels. Until next time....🛫☃️❄
Jeb, that was worth the wait to see. I appreciate getting to share this memory with you. The excitement and joy on your face making it to somewhere you have always wanted to is special.
Dude. Wow. I cannot say how awesome this was that you achieved a lifetime goal like this. As much as you thanked us viewers/fans, I'm gonna than you for sharing this.
As usual, great video Jeb and this is also a Bucket List item for me! Love your videos and we are using some of your tips on our upcoming trip to Australia and New Zealand. BTW, what model Osprey backpack are you using on this trip?
Your best video yet, Jeb. My last trip in a DC-3 was in 1977, a subsidized day tour from Johannesburg to a gold mine. We went 4,000 feet below ground level, saw mining operations and the pouring of liquid gold into ingots. But I digress. I would be very interested in a video about packing for your Antarctica trip. What did you take, your luggage, and the cost of the trip? Which I imagine was beyond considerable. When I lived in Australia in 1974 I got to travel to New Zealand and visit the home of one of the survivors of the ill-fated Shackleton expedition. I don't recall the man's name, but he was one of the sailors left behind with the ship and those people lived. He was about 97 at the time. His recollections were riveting. Thanks again for a truly epic record of an amazing adventure. It astonishes me that tours run to the South Pole now. My partner went in 1974 and had to get all sorts of clearances, press credentials and permission from the military.
Jeb this by far is the most excited I have been to see your journey. I am so jealous I mean proper jealous that you were able to be up close and personal with what is one of my top 3 animals, the Penguins. Those were still young adults they have their baby down still showing. I cant even imagine what that must of felt like to see them in their natural habitat. I have a feeling 2023 is gonna be a great year
You do truly awesome videos Jeb. I was wondering if you could possibly do a review of VIA Rails the Canadian that runs between Vancouver, B.C. to Toronto, ONT. I would love to hear your review on that truly Canadian experience.
This is an amazing adventure, and I thoroughly enjoyed coming along vicariously. However, in real life, I'm with Suzanne. I'm glad there are people who do these kinds of things, but I'm not one of them! 😂
I went to Antarctica last year. It was amazing. I want to go back. I would love to go to the South Pole. Thank you for sharing your incredible experience.
Hey Jeb, future video idea in summer maybe you should fly to Arcata which is the worlds foggiest airport. Love your vids! Been watching you since “Who has the worst crj 200?”.
Let’s just take a moment to appreciate Jeb for all the work he does to entertain us! 🎉🎉🎉
a quick visit to his website(aside from subbing in YT)is also a good way to support him and his wife for all the work they do
True 💯 indeed
Agreed!!! This is TRULY traveling off the beaten trail!
Work? 🤣
No! Prefer people leave this area undisturbed!
No just leave these special areas undisturbed!
So exciting! Thanks for taking us along. My entertainment for the day!
Nice video!

It's a great video but honestly the experience itself is indescribable. Something you just gotta get out there and do yourself. Come up with a plan and then just do it!
No just leave some areas undisturbed and stupid for people to say I am carbon neutral because I paid for this or that! Just dumb!
Agreed 👍
Agreed fully!
There are work opportunities and ways to get down there. The pole is a lot harder but getting to Antarctica itself is definitely doable.
I agree with the video being way too short!
Thank you for braving the cold and wind to bring us your dream trip. I totally understand the nothing but white landscape as I have lived in Alaska. 😊
ooo
Thank you so much!! I’m very glad to hear the videos have helped and I certainly hope things have turned around for you.
What an amazing video, Jeb. Much appreciation to your work on your channel & this visit. Had no idea that the south pole was at an attitude of 9,000 ft. What an entertaining & informative video.
Glad you enjoyed it! I had no idea about that either. There’s so much to learn about the “Seventh Continent!”
Seeing the penguins playing around you was sort of a surreal shot...glad you made it to the Pole, sounds like a fantastic trip!

I cannot believe you finally managed to make your way down to the South pole! Thanks for all the hard work documenting your adventures!
I've just recently started watching travel videos. And, I must say, your channel is tied at #1. It is the pure joy that comes through the screen. I have lots of catching up and I know I'll enjoy every trip I go on with you as my tour guide.

Huge Congratulations Jeb! I cannot wait to fly to the Antarctic someday! Woo Hoo! Also the name White Desert seems very fitting! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a better video from your channel! An A340-600 and a DC-3 Wow! 🤩

I was looking forward to this video and you didn't disappoint! What an incredible experience!
I know you were! Thank you so much for checking it out and so glad you enjoyed it. The Basler has to be on your “must fly” list!
CONGRATULATIONS, Jeb! What a thrill! You pulled this off with style! It didn't look like you were cold in any of your shots and your camera gear held up in that EXTREME environment.
Outstanding content Jeb! It’s always a joy joining you on adventures but this is truly unique.

I'm so happy we found your channel! You do such a great job explaining everything.
Let’s just take a moment to thank Jeb for taking us with him to Antarctica and many places around the world by plane, train, and automobile
This is the most incredible and most impressive video yet! Jeb, only you, could ever show us the Antarctic this way! I never know where you will be next! Thank you.
From a (former) Greensboro, North Carolinian, it’s exciting to live vicariously through your travels.
Love it. Thanks for bringing us on this amazing adventure!
Wow! Thanks so much. That’s incredibly nice of you to say!
Great video. Antarctica looks really tough to do stuff there but I am so proud that you managed to go there and even make it to the South Pole. Can’t wait for more videos!
What an amazing journey and what an unforgettable experience. Thank you for sharing.
Absolutely stunning! I am so happy for you. Those of you who travel, give me so much to look forward to. Jeb, as always, you are great to watch.
Thank you, Jeb. Thank you for taking us along with you. So happy for you to finally getting there. 👍
Dude.
That’s really cool that you went into Antártica. You were pretty much in the same environment that they replicate on the movie “Eight Below.”
I have a feeling 2023 is gonna be a great year
Spectacularly beautiful 💙 and to see you take off from Cape Town reminds me of just how beautiful our country is 💙
What a fantastic adventure!!!! As always, I love your upbeat commentary! Be safe!!
A stunning trip; congratulations on making it to the South Pole. Thank you for sharing 👍
That’s sooooo cool! I would absolutely love to go to Antarctica! Thank you for sharing this amazing experience.
Jeb, I've always enjoyed your videos but I've never teared up until this one. So happy for you! Thanks for sharing with us!
Wow! That means so much. Thank you!
This is an amazing trip! Keep up the work, Jeb!
You do truly awesome videos Jeb. I was wondering if you could possibly do a review of VIA Rails the Canadian that runs between Vancouver, B.C. to Toronto, ONT. I would love to hear your review on that truly Canadian experience.
ABSOLUTELY EXHILARATING!!! Infinitely grateful and thankful for you sharing your adventure. Keep on enjoying your many trips.
Incredible experience, thanks for sharing Jeb!
This is an amazing adventure, and I thoroughly enjoyed coming along vicariously. However, in real life, I'm with Suzanne. I'm glad there are people who do these kinds of things, but I'm not one of them! 😂
How can anyone even begin to get into this experience. You showed it well. Totally cool.
Jeb, this was absolutely amazing to watch. So pleased you were able to check this off your list! Love your videos.
Just to able to fly on a DC3 is amazing! Such an iconic plane. Add the South Pole and you had a once-in-a-lifetime week!
