Has Dak had a single game that's as good at what Daniel Jones had yesterday? Giants are going to have to pay Jones now and they should have picked up the 5th year option. I'm hoping Dak can show up finally, TR2.0. Tony Romo 2.0

@Jsmoove94 Lol. This is why winning is so sweet. Because you can get absolutely curb stomped for 90% of the plays in a game. But if you somehow manage to win, you can pretend you were the better team. Even though the entire world watched you get manhandled for most of the game. And your starting QB and tight end themselves admit that the best player of the night was on the other team. Congrats👍

I don't think they are quite better than the cowboys but I feel like yall have more to be proud of and I would be excited to see Daniel Jones play next year. I'm not yet excited to see dak play next year unless we go on a good run but ill be rooting for your giants just like I did in that superbowl they took from undefeated brady.

Once they made the playoffs I figured they would beat the Vikings. The Vikings team was a lot softer than their record and four of the Giants losses were against the Eagles/Cowboys so this team is better than their record.

Daniel Jones really has sneaky speed. I'll never forget that long run against the eagles where he was tackled by the turf monster. It was a long run and I think he was clocked in at 20 mph.

He had a couple of +50 yard TD runs at Duke. Sure, the NFL is faster, but Jones has top speed for a QB.

Us jets fans know all we need is a qb n they are immediately SB contenders with our offensive weapons n top 3 defense...That's why.If they get a great offensive coordinator n not a newbie like Mike Lafleur ,Zach can be fixed n coached up,its only gonna be his 3rd year next year.Jones finally found it in year 4 ,with a superb coach ..Us jets fan see that n think ok that can happen to our team...

@Sexual Harassment Panda the future isn't certain for any team that doesn't have a top 6 QB tbh. This was a good stepping stone and daboll has done something that shouldn't have happened this year. Imo it's impressive enough for a first year. As of right now, it is a home run hire. Sure, it can turn bad, but we can't predict that

@Mansoor Mughal Yes but it's the same basic Viking team that won 8 games last year. They got really, really lucky in one score games this year. They were always paper tigers, especially with Cousins still there. The Giants were a projected 5-6 win team. They also played better this season than they should have. It's fine. It happens. I'm not knocking them for it or asking Giants fans to be ashamed about it. You should enjoy the win. Just pointing out that the future is far from secure.

This Giants teams reminds me of the early 2000's teams that knocked off the Patriots. And Daniel Jones reminds me a lot of Eli. He kind of lulls you a little bit, but when it counts he makes really big plays. Also, when he gets into a rhythm he's really hard to stop. The Giants are playing with house money, so they are really a dangerous team.

Jones has finally matured and playing with smarts and confidence, tapping into his new found internal top tear QB instincts.
He’s reading defenses and multitasking his quickness to throw accurately, run for positive gains and protect the football, and the Head Coach and his staff came in with the perfect game plan that kept the Vikings on there heels to the point of tapping out in confusion or else they wouldn’t have thrown that 4th down 3 yard pass in giving up the ball and losing the game.
Epic game G-Men and a stand alone record for Daniel Johns, the G-men are truly ready.

I would be giving Dan Martindale some praise for his work on Justin Jefferson in the second half. JJ was doing his thing in the first quarter but was snuffed out with some adjustments no doubt. Really made Kirk feel the need to go to his check downs more and look for Hockenson more often than he needed to. No doubt, Hockenson had a big game, Thielen had slightly more receiving yards than Justin Jefferson too, but by NO MEANS does that make them anyway better then Jefferson. This game was waiting for a team go 3 and out and stop the offensive slugfest that was going on. Vikings find themselves to one bad start on their final drive and Kirk is forced once again to go to Hockenson, and he had no where to go. Vikings defense got carved up by Daniel Jones and the majority reason of their victory seems to be because of his legs. Vikings seemed like posers going into the playoffs, couldn’t adjust to the Giants game. I’m happy for Brian Daboll and Jones but I think Philly is more capable and position wealthy to stop this from happening to them

Man that’s the key right there. A lot of these analyst are so lazy or inept in their commentary that they just put everything on the quarterback, win or loss. There is so much more that goes into how successful a quarterback can be beyond their talent and ability. If you don’t have the right coaching, system and personnel to benefit your skill set, it’s next to impossible to be a successful quarterback.

DJ8 just needed competent coaching. The talent was always there. He’s basically Tannehill with a better arm and we see with Daboll what he can do with coaching that maximizes his abilities. If the Giants can get a better receiving core around him they’ll be even better as the years go on.

Congratulations to the Giants on a huge upset win. I'm honestly scared to see how the Eagles do against them, but I'm hopeful that the Eagles will understand their situation and get it done. They especially need to learn from how poorly the Viking's secondary played because our secondary is almost just as bad. Tighten up on defense and score points on offense. Get down the field and get your defense off the field.
