To address some of the comments: 1. I learned how to throw a tantrum like this in my first home - I lived in a basement and there was a lot of yelling including the language that I was using in this video. (I haven't heard these words for over 18 years, but I remember). 2. Momager treats me like a toddler. A tantrum doesn't result in attention or treats. You never reward undesirable behaviours. 3. Momager waited until after I had calmed down and played quietly before offering me what I had originally wanted. 4. Prior to this video I had just eaten an apple, and she didn't think I was still hungry, that's why she engaged in conversation. 5. A Moluccan Cockatoo is very much like a toddler. 6. Parrots and other birds can be loud, noisy and require a lot of attention. It's not all rainbows and sunshine - very important to show the louder side of having a parrot. (This is why parrots don't make great pets). 7. I am a rescue I came from a bad situation but have found my forever home. When I am overtired old behaviours come out.. 8. I have a really good life - lots of enrichment, healthy foods, attention, entertainment and adventures. I am living my best life. My momager believes in adopt, don't shop - there are many birds in rescues who need forever homes that meet their needs. 9. To learn more about me watch The Story of a Rescue - kzclip.org/video/GFgeVBAWW0g/бейне.html and check out some of my other videos. You will see that I have a fantastic life!
@Max the Moluccan I understand the general point, but there are just too many videos with parrots screaming and cussing forever (not just your videos). Some children watch these videos. They don't nee to hear f this f that for 10 minutes straight. Also, the commentators seem to think the bad words are funny and cool. They do not seem to understand the purpose as learning how not to let your parrot do this. Teenagers might start teaching a bird to cuss and invite friends to watch him or woest they could harass a girl with sexual language and if she complains, he answers (hey it's the parrot, mot me who said this). There are way too many other ways ro show the difficulties of owning a parrot. Also, mix some good behavior when he does learn it. Or at least include an introduction with your intention before playing the video
The way mom handled Max was superb. She didn’t give in or reward him for the tantrum. She kept calm and never raised her voice. She instead allowed him to calm down and asked him to use his indoor voice. 👏👏👏
@Stoshnut 🌿No one said the bird didn't have emotions. You may choose to say he threw a tantrum, but some of us recognized an animal that was antagonized to the point of exasperation. Kathryn Erskine explained it clearly in her comment. The calmest, gentlest little dog might snap at someone if pushed far enough. Why would any normal person want to do that?
@Cassie Spencer That is literally how humans develop a vocabulary. There is nothing objective about language, hence why they evolve so heavily. It's about associating sounds with objects and ideas. The barrier is that birds communicate ideas differently than humans. They have fundamentally different body language. So there is a language barrier that prevents the ready communication of certain ideas. You can see how Max gets frustrated by the communication barrier in this video. He isn't really angry about apples. He's angry that he is asking something specific and thinks it's not being understood.
@TJP Real Of course. However, not all animals 'speak' the way some parrots do. For example, dogs understand what some sounds (words) mean although they can't 'parrot' (replicate) speech the way some parrots can. That said some people wrongly claim that parrots do not understand what words mean and only 'parrot' said sound/s. That too is often incorrect. As in not always since some individual parrots do in fact understand the meaning of certain words or phrases and often act accordingly. Note: Research has shown that ability to be innate in parrots, although not all will do so. Much of it has to do with the environment (home for example) along with how they're trained.
They primarily associate sounds with objects. For example if you hold up a cookie and call it a pumpkin they'll eventually associate the word pumpkin with a cookie when they see one. They don't know the difference between the two other than shape. They'll also repeat some sounds they hear often that are not speech. They also tend to repeat (parrot) words that are spoken with emotion more readily than if spoken normally. In short they don't necessarily understand the meaning of words, although they associate a given word with a certain object or behavior.
He continued his tantrum because she kept asking him the same question over and over to the point that he turned his back to her and ignored her. Sounds like a toddler. Lol 😂😂
@s c @s c she is not abusive, at least not in this video or any other I have seen. You seem to not know what a happy content and healthy bird looks like, but this bird loves the hell out of the woman talking to him. She rescued him from an abusive home and he is demonstrating learned behaviors and she is being patient until he stops and behaves in better ways. Angry and scared birds would fly away, be screaming much louder or be completely silent and hide under furniture or bahind toys or not even come out of their enclosures. He wouldn't be ruffling feathers like he did, the way he did it was a happy ruffle not an angry/sad/scared one. There's bird behavior videos you can watch to learn more. I know some of this stuff from having my own bird and the rest comes from people who make training and handling videos. Its really not cool to assume people are abusing their animals, especially when you are claiming this video shows abuse. If you knew how to read bird body language you would know he is clearly spoiled with love and he loves his flock mate.
He went off on a wild tangent, and got it all out...and then turns back around, all composed...and looks at you upside down, like, "I haven't a clue, what just came over me. What? An apple? No, I don't recall wanting an apple". 😂😂😂
Max is a hoot and a half!! He really thought he wanted that apple....I loved it when he twisted his head and looked at you upside down!! He is a beautiful bird!! 😂😂🐦🍎🍎😂😂
@Diana Nutt if you watch some of Max's previous videos and livestreams you'll see is is a well loved and cared for bird! Max was having a bad day that's all.
From above in the pinned comment I gathered he is reenacting what he heard in his first home being a rescue, so it seems he is still processing that trauma rather than having a tantrum ...
@Diana Nutt The whole crux of this is that Max _already_ had an apple. Would you let an 8-year-old eat a second lobster with a full course of butter sauce in the same afternoon? He is not a wild bird, so I wouldn't trust him to make functional decisions on the same level. Living with humans completely changes the ethics. You are trying to claim that this owner is purposefully distressing Max for views, and that crosses a line. You don't live with Max, so I wouldn't rely on you to look out for his needs. I don't appreciate your insinuation. I was not laughing at Max's expense, I am in awe of his attempt to persuade. You don't know what I am thinking just because you read one of my posts.
Wid Gudgeon 🌿So relieved to hear your comment above all the others that I lost this first part of my reply to you!🙂. Couldn't believe that no one saw his frustration but me and were calling him (Max?) a "teenager" with a bad attitude.
I'm so happy to see how you manage Max's tantrums so well, and I feel really sad for him, becausevof the scars he carries in his previous owner ,his behavior says that he still remembers the bad moments he had :'(
I have a friend who has an African Grey, for about 30 years. I've always said he's a perpetual 2 year old but he is also so cute and lovable when he wants to be. When her husband passed the bird went through a tough time grieving because he was so bonded to him. But my friend and the Grey have worked out their grief together and become closer. BYW he still calls the dog from years ago in her husband's voice that now makes her laugh again. These parrots are friends for a lifetime.
I work with a woman who has a bird phobia. This video would put her right over the edge. Even I would be freaked out by a bird yelling at me like that!
When Max turned his head away when you brought him his apple reminds me of myself when I was little. I'd ask my mom for something and she finally brought it I didn't want it then.
The fluffing out at 0:34 is so relatable to me!😂😂 when you’re frustrated and have to take a deep breath right before you want to wreck someone😂😂😂😂 This was great!!!
Exactly after provoking the poor bird to begin with after he asked for an apple and she denied him. He has no other way to communicate apparently that his owner understands since he noticed her tone of voice immediately as did every one else.
He was a little fussy. He just needed to get a little vent before his nap. Toddlers are like that. I love how you handled your feathery so's tantrum. Gave him some space, and let him tucker himself out. A parrot is a toddler that stays a toddler a good couple of decades. wish more people understood that.
Max, you forgot to say "Please!" 🍎🍏🍎🍏🍎🍏 It was very interesting seeing this side of Max, and obviously he was getting tired and grumpy. Sleep well Max, and hoping that you get up on the right side of the perch in the morning... 🥰💖
I had a nephew like this. He would go into a screaming tantrum whenever he didn't immediately receive his requested desire. Of course, that just led to his mom using the ignoring tactic whenever he did that. :)
Amazing! Yes, it does seem quite a lot like dealing with a toddler.😂 Bravo to you for rescuing this fantastic cockatoo. I’m really trying to figure this out, I know some birds can talk, but I always thought they just mimic speech, not that they can really have an actual conversation. Now, I’m not so sure…he sure seemed to be saying what he wanted, expressing displeasure (very loudly lol), and so I’m both confused and fascinated. Thanks for sharing and educating us about them, I’ll be watching more 😁
Very much a toddler. Sometimes I babble. Sometimes I use words to communicate. Tycho the African Grey only uses his words to communicate, and doesn't talk often. Tikal babbles for fun.
Cockatoos I’ll say are definitely the parrots with the most anger issues😂😂 Theirs on called Pebbles and she is the baddest little bird I’ve ever seen 😂😂
Cockatoos are VERY smart and naughty! They will strip every piece of fruit off your citrus trees, take one bite then throw the rest on the ground like spoilt children. The cockies started coming to my home for hand outs but when I stopped feeding them, they tore up my garden beds and threw out my newly planted seedlings! Don’t mess with a cocky. They have very long memories.
Aww 😍 Max is such a rambunctious rascal and hungry for an Apple 🍎🍏 be a good boy Max and ask your lovely pet hooman for a Apple politely 🥰 good boy Max 😘
Max, l LOVED your ranting about the apple 🍎! You're so precious! Loved how Max's demeanor calmed down. Happy Earth Day to Max, Tikal, Tycho and Momager. Love you all.
I totally get this. When I’m hangry and then throw a temper tantrum, I also often lose my appetite. 😂❤️Little guy just needed some sleep. Been there too many times to count.
that was quite unusual even for max i wonder if he heard something in the distance and repeated it just an odd feeling i got i hope everything is ok max is such a sweetybird
Oh max is mad. He wants his apple now. Lol. Aww I love his head tilting too. So cute. I guess he changed his mind about the apple lol. Max it be ok. Be good to your hooman.
This is how my chihuahua is about going outside. It takes 45 minutes of conversation while he stands in the doorway staring at me. Like he’s thinking about it. Then if we shut the door he’s back at it whining. Spoiled animals. 😂♥️
Oh my!! Only you and Gotcha I have seen be so passionate about an 🍎. Now, it's hard for mommy to be mad at you when you give her the cute upsidedown head😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🍎♥️🍎♥️🍎♥️🍎♥️💜💘🥰
I'm pretty sure I heard some first class swear words centered around an apple. I don't know how you keep from laughing at him. And that move where he gets one eye to focus close up on the apple like he's inspecting it to see if it measures up. Precious bird.
Poor Max. We all have trouble when we're tired and hungry. I certainly do. @2:44 mins Max is looking contrite and submissive, saying that he's sorry with that body language. Precious boy. His original home must have been very stressful for him. ❤️🇭🇲
@Caroline R. 🌿. Max has nothing for which to be sorry. The woman was the one out of line, teasing and taunting. This is the home that is causing him stress.
LOL! Max, you transformed into another being! Are you really Max? Is Max over here? 😅 We are used to sweet, polite, nice and kind Max with his "bok bok bok" and today he's in a bad mood. Strong personality, Max
This is SO funny that I've watched this several times. It figures that when Max finally is given the apple, he doesn't eat it and gives what I call the silent treatment. I wonder if Max has seen a tantrum. Lol!
Wowwwww I’ve never seen, or even imagined a parrot having a tantrum before! My face while watching this entire thing =😲 I’m a little scared!! 😅 But then how can anyone be mad after that cute little upside-down head tilt 🤷🏻♀️ Hes lovely! 💖
Thought it was going to end with him going to his room, shouting things like "nobody understands me" and "I never asked to be born" and slamming the door.
Max is adorable thank you for showing the video, I hope Max gets everything his taste loves and it a happy parrot. Hes beautiful and I love Cockatoos!!!
Regarding Max's 6th point, we had a cockatoo and a med.-sized parrot when I was young. Their perches were right near the phone (in the cold months). Whenever we were on it, they would be ear-splittingly loud. They did not want us to have a quiet conversation with a friend. 🤣🤣🤣😂
My Cocker Spaniel was happily napping under his blankie.....until he woke up when Max launched into his tirade. He looked at me with a stunned look that said it ALL......"WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH THAT GUY???!!!" No amount of coaxing would convince him to stay... Max level of intensity was intolerable for him. Now both he and his blankie are happily snoozing in the next room. Dogs are soooo "Zen" ..... 😄🤣😂 .
I love this little man/ bird. He is my spirit animal for sure. What a beautiful little soul. Tilting that head upside-down of all things. He's like me. He knows he's been a bit naughty.

I honestly thought the first half of this was referring to the human owner acting like a toddler due to the first person language for some time.
The fact you have to explain this video to people throwing tantrum comments is just sad.
@Max the Moluccan I understand the general point, but there are just too many videos with parrots screaming and cussing forever (not just your videos). Some children watch these videos. @Lubna H Part 2 of the answer. I didn't actually want an apple - I had eaten plenty Momager knew that. Decades of experience.
Max has empowered me. I'm telling my Boss tomorrow "I want a raise and I want it soon! I want it now!"
Do it!! Damnit!! Say, I'm a human. I need a raise and I need it now!!
He reminds me of a little child 👦
Good one. You tell your boss right now! 😂
and don't preen all over you body in front oh boss
& make your feathers- I mean hair- stand on end!
If huskies are the most dramatic dogs, then we can all agree Cockatoo are the most dramatic bird 😂
Agreed!!
The way mom handled Max was superb. She didn’t give in or reward him for the tantrum. She kept calm and never raised her voice. She instead allowed him to calm down and asked him to use his indoor voice. 👏👏👏
He and Zeus wpuld have been a great pair.!
Those guys are very impressive and so are African Grey's
Love the way he throws his head back 🤣😂
What a 🤡
YAAAAASSSSSSSSS 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 COCKATOOS are the HUSKIES of the bird world!!! 💯💯💯💯💯🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 perfect analogy.
I love the way he fluffed up his feathers before he threw a tantrum
@Stoshnut 🌿No one said the bird didn't have emotions. You may choose to say he threw a tantrum, but some of us recognized an animal that was antagonized to the point of exasperation. Kathryn Erskine explained it clearly in her comment.
The calmest, gentlest little dog might snap at someone if pushed far enough. Why would any normal person want to do that?
@Kimberly Williams Plummer creepy?there's nothing creepy about Max,he's adorable
I don’t….creepy as hell
@Diana Nutt if the bird cant throw a tantrum then why can he feel exasperated?
@Kathryn Erskine wouldn't "hurt feelings" also be a humanization and projection of/on the bird? If he can't throw a tantrum why can he feel hurt?
It's amazing how they can literally have conversations with people, not just repeat what they hear, they are so smart 🤓
@Cassie Spencer That is literally how humans develop a vocabulary. There is nothing objective about language, hence why they evolve so heavily. It's about associating sounds with objects and ideas. @Cassie Spencer That one African Grey (what was his name again?) who once asked his handler what color he was comes to mind.
@TJP Real Of course. However, not all animals 'speak' the way some parrots do. For example, dogs understand what some sounds (words) mean although they can't 'parrot' (replicate) speech the way some parrots can.

@Cassie Spencer in short, that's how language works lol
They primarily associate sounds with objects. For example if you hold up a cookie and call it a pumpkin they'll eventually associate the word pumpkin with a cookie when they see one. I’m convinced that he’s a human toddler inside of a bird 🤣🤣🤣
Pretty accurate
For life if you’re asking expect a tantrum throwing mischievous toddler for life
Definitely like a human toddler! Maybe they are actually at that level of development?
😂😂😂😂
😂The way he turned his head at the end to look at her like she was crazy when she tried to give him the apple.
He continued his tantrum because she kept asking him the same question over and over to the point that he turned his back to her and ignored her. Sounds like a toddler. Lol 😂😂
@s c @s c she is not abusive, at least not in this video or any other I have seen. @s c No, I don't get that impression at all
Yeah, as a 2 year old baby.
I agree. She's very immature and abusive. This video made me so sad for him. He's a sweetie and she was trying to get him angry.
@Kathryn Erskine Exactly! Thank you.
He went off on a wild tangent, and got it all out...and then turns back around, all composed...and looks at you upside down, like, "I haven't a clue, what just came over me. What? An apple? No, I don't recall wanting an apple". 😂😂😂
🤣😂
Max is a hoot and a half!! He really thought he wanted that apple....I loved it when he twisted his head and looked at you upside down!! He is a beautiful bird!!
😂😂🐦🍎🍎😂😂
Thank you! I really am a character, even when I'm acting like a brat.
He started off asking so sweetly....that went left quick.....😅🤣😂
At least he didn't scream for a Big Mac. Max is a good boy.
😂😂😂
SOOOOO TRUE
Yes Max is an exception, I’ve seen majors go ballistic and can be very aggressive an destructive, this lady has a gift
Lol at 1:52 when he turned his head all creepy it’s like he was saying “oh you wanna mess with all this crazy!?” I love his flame colored feathers.
After all that fighting Max didn't want the apple after all. I guess he just wanted to vent. Lol
He just needed some undivided attention!
Wid Gudgeon 🌿So relieved to hear your comment above all the others that I lost this first part of my reply to you!🙂. Couldn't believe that no one saw his frustration but me and were calling him (Max?) a "teenager" with a bad attitude.
I'm so happy to see how you manage Max's tantrums so well, and I feel really sad for him, becausevof the scars he carries in his previous owner ,his behavior says that he still remembers the bad moments he had :'(
Max is pretty patient with humans. He did ask calmly in the beginning
You have a very intelligent bird. I've never seen one talk in complete sentences holding a conversation like that.
He is so adorable, even in his tantrum state.
Check out some of my other videos!
That upside head is simply adorable. Birds have quite the personalities!
Max says you didn't give it to him soon enough, so now he doesn't want it, he caught a BIRDATUDE!! 😂 🥰
@Inner beauty Never fades.
🌿☔💚 Not funny...actually sad.
Hahahaha... BIRDATUDE...NICE!!!
I have a friend who has an African Grey, for about 30 years. I've always said he's a perpetual 2 year old but he is also so cute and lovable when he wants to be. @WWZenaDo 😂😂😂
U made me laugh.
Imagine a dinosaur throwing a temper tantrum like that...
The way he fluffed those feathers made me laugh out loud
When Max turned his head away when you brought him his apple reminds me of myself when I was little. I'd ask my mom for something and she finally brought it I didn't want it then.
Bird brained?
The only thing I didn't have when I was younger was the cockatoo screeching.
Yup! Sounds about right
The fluffing out at 0:34 is so relatable to me!😂😂 when you’re frustrated and have to take a deep breath right before you want to wreck someone😂😂😂😂 This was great!!!
Get ready to.... yell!!!!! 🤣
Same reaction I'd have if someone kept telling me to calm down 🙄😂
@Pamela Morris He's a toddler, not a grown-up.
@Pamela Morris I agree with you 100 percent
Exactly after provoking the poor bird to begin with after he asked for an apple and she denied him. He has no other way to communicate apparently that his owner understands since he noticed her tone of voice immediately as did every one else.
I tell my guy friends…never tell a woman to “Calm Down “…the fires of Hell will rain down on you 😂
No one in the history of mankind has ever calmed down from being told to calm down.
He was a little fussy. He just needed to get a little vent before his nap. Toddlers are like that. I love how you handled your feathery so's tantrum. Gave him some space, and let him tucker himself out. A parrot is a toddler that stays a toddler a good couple of decades. wish more people understood that.
Exactly. If you respond to tantrums the behavior is rewarded and encouraged.
Max, you forgot to say "Please!" 🍎🍏🍎🍏🍎🍏
It was very interesting seeing this side of Max, and obviously he was getting tired and grumpy.
Sleep well Max, and hoping that you get up on the right side of the perch in the morning... 🥰💖
Lol the way he pouts after being offered his apple too funny .. he is adorable
N throws his head back to the side like DO YOU SEE ME!!!
Nice that Max was rescued and has someone to listen to him.
I had a nephew like this. He would go into a screaming tantrum whenever he didn't immediately receive his requested desire. Of course, that just led to his mom using the ignoring tactic whenever he did that. :)
Max even when you're naughty you're beautiful.
@Chochi Chochona 🌿This poor bird isn't being naughty...just reacting to a bully.
Max is the second KZclip Cockatoo I've seen scream for an apple only to turn their beaks up when offered one.
@Ander Ander he just repeats shit he hears. Hes not actually wanting an apple.
@Ander Ander Good point...
That vocalization that sounds like apple probably means something else to him...
He definitely knows what he wants and when. 😂😍
Did he say "I'm serious!" at 1:20? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I ❤️ him.
Amazing! Yes, it does seem quite a lot like dealing with a toddler.😂 Bravo to you for rescuing this fantastic cockatoo. @King Ayy thanks! I checked it out. That’s incredible, I’m a believer 😁
Alex the African grey could distinguish between shapes/colors and count up to five, IIRC.
There's probably videos about him, if you're interested.
Very much a toddler. Sometimes I babble. Sometimes I use words to communicate. Tycho the African Grey only uses his words to communicate, and doesn't talk often. Tikal babbles for fun.
We wants apple! He wants another one. He wants it right now!
I have never seen Max so mad but I still love his attitude good on you Max 😖
Cockatoos I’ll say are definitely the parrots with the most anger issues😂😂 Theirs on called Pebbles and she is the baddest little bird I’ve ever seen 😂😂
*MAX IS SO SMART AND A GOOD BOY. HE'S JUST ANGRY, BECAUSE YOU ARE TEASING HIM ABOUT THE APPLE. GIVE HIM THE APPLE. PLEASE !!!*
Wow wow now Max doesn’t want a apple 🍎 after all that yelling
I forgot that I wanted one 🤣🤣🤣
Cockatoos are VERY smart and naughty! They will strip every piece of fruit off your citrus trees, take one bite then throw the rest on the ground like spoilt children. Aww 😍 Max is such a rambunctious rascal and hungry for an Apple 🍎🍏 be a good boy Max and ask your lovely pet hooman for a Apple politely 🥰 good boy Max 😘
Oh my goodness just discovered max. I am in love. I love me a good cockatoo tantrum. ❤️❤️❤️
Welcome to the flock!
They way he took in a deep breath after going off as to catch his breath 😂
Max, l LOVED your ranting about the apple 🍎! You're so precious! Loved how Max's demeanor calmed down. Happy Earth Day to Max, Tikal, Tycho and Momager. Love you all.
When I get excited I talk faster and shorten words
Max wants his apple NOW! Not later..He is precious.💜
I know what I want and I want it now!
Cockatoos are the funniest of characters, so much intelligence and so much child maturity lol 😆 They are the funniest characters
💯 and as clever as a 5 year old too
Toddler for life
Thank you for being so kind to sweet Max
I totally get this. When I’m hangry and then throw a temper tantrum, I also often lose my appetite. 😂❤️Little guy just needed some sleep. Been there too many times to count.
Hahaha! Max is a Drama King! The boy has ATTITUDE! ❤️🇨🇦
Our boy certainly puts up a pretty good argument. I love that voice.🤍🧡💛🤍🥰
Max cracks me up, he’s so darn cute 💕💕
I'm a character
that was quite unusual even for max i wonder if he heard something in the distance and repeated it just an odd feeling i got i hope everything is ok max is such a sweetybird
No. I throw tantrums. Just not often on camera.
Mom: Do you want the apple now?
Max: That was 10 minutes ago, I’m not hungry anymore!
Me: Typical kid
Exactly!
Oh max is mad. He wants his apple now. Lol. Aww I love his head tilting too. So cute. I guess he changed his mind about the apple lol. Max it be ok. Be good to your hooman.
This had me laughing so hard.
Too funny.
This is how my chihuahua is about going outside. It takes 45 minutes of conversation while he stands in the doorway staring at me. Like he’s thinking about it. Then if we shut the door he’s back at it whining. Spoiled animals. 😂♥️
So funny, Max being bossy then when he gets the apple flatly refuses, haha I think Max is over tired 😂
Just like a toddler
Haha, I love it when they get a tantrum 😂
In the end he makes "Silent Threatment" 🤣
Oh my!! Only you and Gotcha I have seen be so passionate about an 🍎. Now, it's hard for mommy to be mad at you when you give her the cute upsidedown head😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🍎♥️🍎♥️🍎♥️🍎♥️💜💘🥰
When his feathers stick up, he means business! 😂
How could you refuse those upside looks!!! 😂 He is precious 💕!!!!
Max is tired of everyone's mess.😂 He had a venting session that wasn't even about the apple. 🍎
Aww my gosh this made me laugh so much. Your bird is extremely loved.
I can't believe they are actually holding a conversation!
I'm pretty sure I heard some first class swear words centered around an apple. I don't know how you keep from laughing at him. And that move where he gets one eye to focus close up on the apple like he's inspecting it to see if it measures up. Precious bird.
Max is dramatic and so charismatic😊
Well.... After all that... He was just making sure he was still in control. 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😍😚
Everyone needs a little drama in their lives even if it's invented. I feel the same way about apples! Thanks for the video.
Big feelings!
Max deserves an 🍎 lol right now help him out
Somebody isn't spoiled by any chance?? But we love him anyway 🥰
What a skilful, manipulative bird he is. I love the way he uses his upside-down stance to ignore the apple!
When she finally offers an apple....Max be like: Talk to my beak 😂
Lol!
Even when birds are angry they look so adorable.
I'm imagining what a juvenile T-Rex would look like in this kind of mood...
When she says you want an Apple
Max looks perplexed
Then he snaps out of it and starts
his rant. That upside down look
He's Absolutely hilarious
Truly terrifying logic, _"I'M PARROT, right now!"_ 😆
You really couldn't write a cockatoo's dialog.
Wowwwww I’ve never seen, or even imagined a parrot having a tantrum before! My face while watching this entire thing =😲
I’m a little scared!! 😅 But then how can anyone be mad after that cute little upside-down head tilt 🤷🏻♀️ Hes lovely! 💖
I look and listen, of course, to Max at least once a day. Max cracks me up (compliment)!
Glad you are part of the flock!
He went from asking nicely, to a tantrum. He even said, "I DONT WANT AN APPLE!" "YOU DIDNT EVEN WAKE ME UP,"
@Max the Moluccan
Ok. But what is the word after mad?
I was having a mad....
I can't be the only one who has begun to incorporate, "Max starts to throw a tantrum," into my everyday routine.
Thought it was going to end with him going to his room, shouting things like "nobody understands me" and "I never asked to be born" and slamming the door.
Such a great clip and you can see as to why he wants the best. Please post more clips. Hilarious 😀
🤣🤣🤣 he is hilarious, and he wants the apple now!
He has a big attitude, so bossy and spoiled and cute 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😂 Thanks so much for sharing your videos , Max is absolutely precious 💞💕💕💕
Hes like a toddler and teenager at once 😆
Maybe he never wanted an apple to begin with, he just wanted to see if he'd get one. lol
Max is adorable thank you for showing the video, I hope Max gets everything his taste loves and it a happy parrot. Hes beautiful and I love Cockatoos!!!
Me when I want sleep!! I definitely couldn't resist when he does the head move!! Ur adorable Maxx!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
So sweet
A 28 year old toddler with wings... it is rather sweet thought!
Regarding Max's 6th point, we had a cockatoo and a med.-sized parrot when I was young. Their perches were right near the phone (in the cold months). Whenever we were on it, they would be ear-splittingly loud. They did not want us to have a quiet conversation with a friend. 🤣🤣🤣😂
So true!
My Cocker Spaniel was happily napping under his blankie.....until he woke up when Max launched into his tirade.
He looked at me with a stunned look that said it ALL......"WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH THAT GUY???!!!"
No amount of coaxing would convince him to stay... Max level of intensity was intolerable for him. Now both he and his blankie are happily snoozing in the next room.
Dogs are soooo "Zen" ..... 😄🤣😂
.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love this little man/ bird. He is my spirit animal for sure. What a beautiful little soul. Tilting that head upside-down of all things. He's like me. He knows he's been a bit naughty.
He is adorable even when he is cross. ❤
He turned his head up side was so adorable
This is too cute
