Wow, this is truly an impressive setup! The attention to detail and the level of maintenance is evident in the healthy and robust plants. I am impressed by the large scale of the system and the variety of plants grown. It's amazing how efficient and sustainable hydroponics can be. I am definitely taking notes and considering upgrading own hydroponics system. Great video, thank you for sharing!"
Plants grow much faster (more than 2x faster) in a hydroponic system than on soil. Lettuce takes 2 to 3 weeks in that set-up. For example, full 16+ hour light can be provided in a daily basis instead of 12. Also temperature can be controlled. Just a fun fact. Higher temperature slows plant growth. Optimal temperature for growth is below 30 Celsius or below 80 F.
I do think these new farms are very good. I think most of the lettuce in the store is grown this way.. but I also think that my lovely lettuce I grow down the allotment taste better because it’s grown by the sun in the soil
Being a student of agriculture stream it makes me happy because the level of technology used is so awesome, literally so awesome is the farmers of any country become so innovative like this no power can obstacle that country to be properous ❣️ Lastly a lot of thanks to the team to make such a fabulous video❣️
Hello iam a 12 student from kerala .now my exam is over and i really confused to take a course but i really interested in Botany as well as chemistry and zoology .Is BSC agriculture is a good profession .is it profitable after course can you suggest some information about that
These kinds of videos fascinate me. I am very admiring, I am speechless. Thank you very much for posting these interesting and informative videos. The absence of commentary is positive. The music is adequate.

Well, the way of their working is quite alluring and invaluable as it makes me more feel vibrant.Consequently,i can easily concentrate on my both study as well as work effortleslly.
@Dyson An estimated 50 million plains bison, probably the largest aggregation of large animals known to recorded history, roamed over North America when Europeans arrived. state the numbers of cows that exist in north america today.
@Chris M I hope you realize how much energy and resources it takes to grow a single cow... I'm not vegan or anything but that was a really blunt statement lol.
@Chris M I grow like this in my apartment all the time, the turn over is awesome. I used cheap full spectrum LED's that use less power than almost any appliance in my apartment. I understand you have the type of mentality that is all doom and gloom, but I wanted to let you know growing like this isn't some sort of mystical thing... It's actually very easy to do, For example Hoocho on KZclip consistently uploads videos on various ways one can achieve these types of setups and what works and doesn't work with time lapses. I am willing to bet people in your community already grow like this for produce but you have some sort of weird mental illness you want to advertise to everyone online in an unhealthy way. As far as feeling better than anyone else? I am First Nations Canadian.
Interesting video, at least this type of agriculture does not pollute the soil with agrotoxics and if they use rain or recycled water and solar panels thumbs up. Lots of people working so--> 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

NO 😢.
You can grind up rocks into a powder and use it to add minerals and micronutrients to the water. It actually taste better than traditional farmed crops, because it's usually grown in the city and doesn't lose all the freshness from shipping.
Soilless media is not a bad way to go it doesn’t take away flavor if you treat the water correctly it can also save water in terms of recycling and keeping the plant away from pests and disease
It's farming technology especially used for places with limited land suitable for agriculture. As far as I know, all the required nutrients added into the water according to the growth phase. And since its in closed environment, they probably use little pesticide (maybe even without it added). Considering the growth of vegan/vegetarian folks, this method probably will be used more in the future. You can't feed everyone needing vegetable just by farming in the land.
@QuenDi carrot and potatoes probably can't, but some leafy vegetables certainly can (kale, spinach/water spinach, celery). I don't know if aeroponic can solve it. Developing nations also have land problems and (more importantly) population problems. Hydroponic will sustain us in limited capacity, but it's better than shortage and inflation of it. Though when you said loss, it's mostly the setting (contraptions?) used that drive the hydroponic vegetables to be expensive. So yeah, only certain kind of people (moderately rich) who eat those. Us plebs can only eat vegetables that probably been contaminated with pesticide.
Wow, very interesting. To make it work like this, what is or has to be in the water? What kind of substances (minerals) do the plants need to grow like that, just out of water? And what are these lamps? Not grow lights, are they?
Very helpful. Thank you for sharing. Have a good day and lots of fun from the fans. Always accompanies you.👍👌🤝🙏🔔Supported the package channel and looking forward to making a long-term companion!
@QuenDi Now, hydroponic cultivation lettuce is popular in Korean agricultural industry. The hydroponic cultivated agricultural products, which are abnormally moist, and highly fructose, highly carbohydrate, on the contray lowly phytochemical, are now distributed and consumed. However, hydroponic cultivated agricultural products were less storage than agricultural products grown on the ground. Pesticides and fertilizers are used less, or organic agricultural products, but they are quickly corrupt. I think it's an agricultural product that can't be sure if it is helpful for me and my family, and sometimes I feel like a garbage that shouldn't be eaten thing.
@QuenDi I agree with your thoughts. In Korea, several big firms have been studying hydroponic cultivation for decades. Let's take strawberries as an example. In the last 20 years, the demand and supply of hydroponic cultivation strawberries have increased. On the contrary, strawberries grown in the soil decreased. The agricultural product cultivation technology develops too steep, so young Koreans now think of strawberries, harvesting strawberries in winter, rather than May to June. It's very abnormal, but already a decade ago, farms that grow the summer strawberries on the ground in the existing way were bankrupt. Facility cultivation strawberry becomes money, and consumers prefer to grow facility cultivation such as hydroponic cultivation.
It’s very clean and sterile, but I still like to get my hands dirty. How long does it take from seed to harvest? Thanks for your videos they’re very interesting.
@Alexander Vlaescu don't get butt hurt bro it's true anything grown in the sun and soil taste 10 times better and there's no debating it. The only way to not know this is to have never had the good stuff.
@Colonel Turmeric Yes, you a single scenario that has zero scientific background knows better than institutions that have dedicated almost a whole life time in research on the hydroponics field. Site a study that proves what you are saying or you are just bullshiting. Tbh it is more likely that the hybrid used that extends shelf life just tastes less than the actual production method making them taste less. Soil and soilless cultivation is exactly the same for the plant. Arguably soilless cultivation is slightly better since we are giving the plant ideal conditions to grow and or produce fruit. For tomatoes specifically I know we are raising salt levels slightly in the nutrient solution because we know that a certain amount improves both tase and firmness. Can't have that in typical soil farming.
@QuenDi taste and texture has nothing to with this kind of cultivation. Do you know why ? Because fundamentally they are the exact same way. The only difference is that in one you rely on the existing nutrients while on the other you are pretty much providing them on demand.

In developing countries, this type of planting will cause losses. Blood spray.
This model is only for growing lettuce.
There are many plants on earth that cannot be grown in this way.

Can we possibly comprehend in an entirety all the necessary elements the Sun ☀️ gives naturally?
And if we cannot fully understand, how can we even talk about creating a "similar conditions" for these types of cultivation?
Well I am willing to be schooled!
Felix c the sun works far better than artificial light, any gardener can tell you this. Maybe not ‘magic’ but there’s something about it for certain
You've never been fishing and see plants along the shore line with roots exposed freely growing? Yikes! And I'm not even 31 yet.....
Yes, we do understand how light works. The sun is not made out of magic.

it looks labor intensive. any clue on making this more automatic through robots?
Wonder how they control mold and mildew.
And what Benny's and or nutes they might use.
Also it sure seems like a lot of physical interaction.
Paging, PBBM, please have this technology in our country. It will greatly help our farmers, and give a increase on budget for the DA
Amazing work I also want to work like here I love plants
Great video. Mass producing in a smaller space. Do they test for the nutritional content? How much energy consumption?
I want to live in the world where plants come from the synergy of sun (fire), soil (earth), water and air. And the care from a gardener or farmer.
Why? If you're that crazy about nature for nature's sake how can you possibly stand to use the internet
That's where house plants come from
@Colonel Turmeric You need to understand that it is needed. We are beginning to be overpopulated and we won't be able to eat like we eat now for long
You won't be able to live like that for long. We need to accept it

I love this! So amazing!
Waaoww..keren baget..sayuran yang super sehat n bersih😍😍😍
I'm surprised that this factory is quite labor extensive.
Well...only 30 people including office workers is woring in 5000m2 size factory. That's not we call labor extensive.
Useful farming technology for humankind. 👏
This is Korean agricultural tech. Honest work and uncontaminated materials.
What about microplastics ?
Wow, very interesting. To make it work like this, what is or has to be in the water? What kind of substances (minerals) do the plants need to grow like that, just out of water? And what are these lamps? Not grow lights, are they?
All plants need Nitrogen, Phosphate and Kalium, that's what they give to the plants in the water. The lamp is growing lamp to replace the sun.
Very good process.
Very helpful. Thank you for sharing. Have a good day and lots of fun from the fans. Always accompanies you.👍👌🤝🙏🔔Supported the package channel and looking forward to making a long-term companion!
Toprak yok ,güneş yok ! Ne kadar sağlıklı ?
So clean and no algae in sight! 😍
Güzel dayanışma ve uyum 👌
You are genius team, And what can you help us to learn this technology because our country is suffering from malnutrition
SUBHANALLAH ...Sangat luar biasa
Very informative video

Sangat Canggih pertanian hidroponik Korea
The process is so cool 👌
Me he quedado atonico .pura vida 💛
Healthy business but time n energy taking more ♥️🔥 love from East Sikkim ♥️
It’s very clean and sterile, but I still like to get my hands dirty. How long does it take from seed to harvest? Thanks for your videos they’re very interesting.
@Alexander Vlaescu don't get butt hurt bro it's true anything grown in the sun and soil taste 10 times better and there's no debating it. The only way to not know this is to have never had the good stuff.
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Alexander but you’re wrong? Theory does not equal reality, plants grown like this always taste worse, i know from experience
@QuenDi taste and texture has nothing to with this kind of cultivation. Do you know why ? Because fundamentally they are the exact same way. The only difference is that in one you rely on the existing nutrients while on the other you are pretty much providing them on demand.
excellent. very inspiring.
MasyaaAllah luar biasa 😍😍😍
