But Disney and Lucasfilm still needs to make the sequel trilogy movies that George Lucas and the fans want. And Luke saying that talent without training means nothing makes that possible. New trilogy sequel movies need to happen unless George Lucas specifically states that he no longer wants this. And I don't think he will ever say that.
Every once in a while I come back to watch this video as a reminder of this awesome piece of television histoy and the emotions I felt when Luke, the real Luke, finally returned.
I cried, boys. 43 years old. Firefighter. Paramedic. Wildland firefighter. Chef. I've seen some shit. And I'm not ashamed to admit that I cried. Thank you, Jon and every single person involved in this masterpiece. Thank you.
@Stephen Smith That just means that Hope still exist inside you, just like it did when you were a little boy, watching the farmer kid from Tatooine save the galaxy.
Disney: Hey guys, everyone is going to be crying there eyes out because there are getting everything they ever wanted.....anything we can do to lighten the air? Producers: Sure, send in R2. That should help. Viewers: LOSING OUR DAMN MINDS.
It only made sense. Where Luke goes, R2 is right there with him. When he rolled out from behind Luke I barked a delighted laugh and called out to the screen in my best Luke impression, "Hey R2!"
Yeah the tears definitely diffuse the flaws for me in the CGI it was all about the emotion I didn't really care about the visuals or the effects it was all about the story in the emotion and it was perfect
DUDE!!! Mark Hamill tweeted out an awesome post about the fans today, and BOTH of the two fan reaction compilation videos he shared have your reaction in it!! Mark Freakin' Hamill has seen your reactions!! Happy New Year to you both!!
Dude I’m 30, grew up in a Star Wars family, and my entire family cried like new born babies when we saw that damn Xwing. I cannot wait to see more of this incredible story. This is the best Star Wars content we have ever received.
*This is what it looks like when you get show creators that have an actual passion for Star Wars and care about the fans! Seeing Luke in his prime was awesome!*
Jay and Adam. I am not sure if you will see this but it needs to be said anyway. First I want to thank Jay. Your reaction to seeing Luke's X-Wing was priceless. It echoed my own. When you saw the X-Wing and immediately grabbed Adam's arm, I knew you knew. I cried along with you. Finally, our childhood hero was realized as he should be. (Needless to say, i also echo your Boba Fett reaction.) Adam, the pure joy on your face was worth the price of admission. 😉 It is because of this heartfelt reactions and your sincerity that keeps me coming back. Thank you both for being a bright spot on the internet.
@BlueHooloovoo This was a wonderful post, thank you for this. I’m exhausted from all the sequel trilogy hate and I can’t wait until the young kids that loved those movies grow up and start making Star Wars content of their own… just like what happened with the prequel trilogy.
I’m 50 and openly wept in front of my whole family. My Luke is finally here. I saw Jedi when I was 12. I have been waiting for my Luke almost 40 years.
I'm a 50 year man and completely lost my shit screaming like a school girl when Red-5 showed up!!! Tears and all!!! This season was better than the prequels AND sequels put together! This is how you tell a Star Wars story!!! Favreau and Filoni, you beautiful bastards you, thank you for making me feel like I was 10 again!!!
37 and I can't stop crying whenever I think about it! I don't know if you saw the quote from JJ Abrams saying that a gun-toting, shots firing Han was the "true" Han, but it felt like that was the attitude everyone bar Mark went into the trilogy films with. Distil Star Wars into a single base description and play off that. They don't get why this works. This is an orphan made good. This is the hero who was a hero because he was just that good a person coming into his prime looking to defend those who needed it. This is the son who redeemed his father at the very end. This is a man who never lost hope, who EMBODIES hope. Sure, the sequence would be spectacular for another character. It would be another "corridor scene" from Daredevil where it's enjoyed and gushed over. But it's because it's LUKE that the sequence gets tears. It's because of what those movies represent and mean more than just space samurai action flicks that make what we just saw actually matter. It's because it's Luke Skywalker that I cry when I rewatch this sequence. And as a grown adult, I'm not ashamed of that.
Not inly has this show made me fall back in love with Star Wars, but it's shown me that I'm not alone in how much this universe means to me. Watching the various reaction videos and how excited, passionate and emotional this show has made people. I feel vindicated.
You know I've thought long and hard why I keep watching this and the reactions. And I finally realized why, you can see the pure hope that 2 nerds had for something they loved come rushing back from what was a bad taste in our mouths. Jay and Adam is all of us and our love for being star wars fans coming back just by watching this great show. Thank you guys for showing us, what we all looked like.... haha
I’m so happy I found you! Your reactions are so heartfelt and entertaining, and I appreciate that you also share your knowledge about Star Wars with us. This episode was absolutely amazing and I cried with you to the very end. What a great season and a great ride! Thank you so much for sharing it with us, guys. May the force be with you.❤️
Jay putting his hand on Adam's shoulder and just repeating "Adam......Adam...............ADAM!!?!?!?!" is my favorite part of any reaction you guys have done. It perfectly mirrored how I felt when that X-Wing flew by... and we all knew who was in it.
I was having a really rough day until I remembered Jay singing “it’s Boba Fett... bein sooooo cute *chinhand*” so thank you for your service. 100% turned my day around 🙌🏼
You know how we all have that one thing we go back to... a song or a movie or something... that just makes you feel happy when you're having a bad day? This reaction video is that for me. The emotion of the mando episode, and the pure joy of your reactions just never fails to make me smile, no matter what. Thanks guys. This video is my happy place.
I cried tears of joy seeing Luke again. My wife watched and said she could see me go back to my childhood in that moment and was so happy to be a part of it
I keep coming back to this video, because at 37 years old...I'm sitting with my husband, watching this episode and I just feel this SURGE of emotion and tears welling up in my eyes that I did not expect. I just looked at my husband and said tearily, "Luke Skywalker came to rescue them..." It was just so perfect and he is the hero we all love.
I know you'll never read this, but in really hard times, like now with my 74 yr old mom in the Hospital with srs heart probs, you both make me smile and laugh. The Bona Fett song is real in moms home. Thanks again.
This entire episode was perfection. Then they had to go and hit you with so many feels back-to-back. We see Luke, we see R2 (which made me cry like a baby btw when he rolled in) and we see Mando and Grogu have their moment. UGH my heart has bursted
Hi guys, I saw you Luke reveal reaction on another “best of reactions” compilation and had to find your original video to watch your full video. you’ve got another fan here, 👍😁
“hey man I like Star Wars again”. Imagine if Favreau and Filoni had been given the entire run of 6 movies instead of what we got for Episodes 1-3 and 6-9.
With 10 minutes they not only wrapped up 2 seasons of character development but brought me back to being 12 year old. I never thought I'd see the strong but wise and kind Luke Skywalker again. Not only is this a moment of true child like wonder but it makes sense in the storyline and the time the TV show is set in. It was exactly the right touch, the right dialogue, the right music. Everything. We were all in tears my brothers, we were all in tears. Well done Dave Falini and John Favreau. You brought out more emotion in 10 minutes of a TV show then the last 3 movies did.
Nothing warms my heart more than seeing the two of you tear up as Luke takes off his hood. The amount of nostalgia, excitement, and pure love in your expressions is wonderful. Like, Adam was *shaking*. Truly wonderful to connect with other Star Wars fans on a similar level
I just watched it tonight and I was just as shocked as everyone. I was on set when Peyton Reed was directing, I got to walk the Star Destroyer set, I saw most of the cast but I did not expect one, let alone 2 classic characters, the secrecy on Mandalorian sets is very real. And the cut scene, that was the icing on the cake. I was losing my shit.
Ive been using a screenie of 13:51 to try and get people I know that dont watch Star Wars to understand how this scene felt to watch. Because its that.
I'd go with a custom saber instead of a galaxies edge saber in my humble opinion. They're just way too chunky and not really close to the real thing. The effects and build quality are great, but getting one custom made will definitely be more worth it. May the force be with you my friends, I'm glad you enjoyed this finale as much as i did!
I'm going through all these reaction videos and just loving every second. Its like sharing the moment with a thousand friends. Especially during you know what. But did no one else see part of the doctors ear missing after Cara shot that Imp? I thought that was a nice touch.
I loved the fact that mando took his helmet off to let Grogu let see his face. It kinda reminded me of vader taking his helmet of to let Luke see his face. This show broke me in the best way 😭😭😭
Mandalorian did everything we wanted. We got Bo katan, Asoka Tano, Boba Fett, and THE ONE JEDI WE WANTED TO SEE AND DONE RIGHT. The perfect end to the Mandolarian series.
@Shamus Obi "The company referred to the project as “a new Original Series, starring Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen and executive produced by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni and Robert Rodriguez, set within the timeline of The Mandalorian.” -Vulture
@Shamus Obi kzclip.org/video/uwwrezdcLiA/бейне.html at 1:45, Jon Favreau literally saying they are two separate series. None of this was speculation. lol
I just ran through all of your Mandlorian episodes seasons 1 and 2. Humorous and heartfelt. You are my favorite reactors now. Thank you for everything.
I felt the same way, crying like a baby. Star Wars is one thing that has been with me my entire life. Luke was the embodiment of a hero of hope. We have waited 37 years to see him at his best and we got it. With 2020 being the shittiest year ever, we got our childhood and hope rushing through us all at the same time. It felt wonderful with that release.
The way Luke was revealed in stages was genius: ✅ X-Wing (with R2 installed) ✅ Grogu reaction ✅ Black and white image of SINGLE lightsaber user ✅ Trademark cloak ✅ GREEN lightsaber ✅ Glove on right hand only
It wasn't perfect but it was absolutely what it had to be! I needed that I was going to a bad part of my life and seeing Luke f****** Skywalker again saved me
Can barely type this out..sooo many emotions. When Grogu put his little hands on the helmet Mando knew he wanted to see his face.. when he took his helmet off with tears in his eyes I totally lost it.😭 The way he looked at Grogu was like a father sending his child off to college. Realizing they will see each other again but knowing the child must learn and grow. Absolutely perfect!
I love your reactions so much guys !!! I cried too... And people who find this silly or are making fun of that can just sh.. up. I'm deeply sorry for them because they certainly are not able anymore to find the little child who is still living in their heart... Sad for them... 😔
Hi Peaches! Prepping for the release of Book of Boba Fett. No time to rewatch all of The Mandalorian. Figured I'd just come back and watch your reactions instead. Can't wait to see what we get at the end of this month!
Wow!! It’s great to see Leonard and Sheldon are still hanging out!! I liked how they went from spontaneous and excited to shocked and tearing up!! It was a great reaction vid Leonard and Sheldon
When I saw a single X-Wing the first thing I thought was no way and then the music started playing then that green lightsaber and I started to ugly cry with joy!
This is AMAZING. Thank you SO much for sharing this with the world. So many grown, adult men have had this same reaction and it's great to see not only this happening in "real time", but the courage many of us have to share our emotional response with the world. Bravo, gents. Video saved, channel Subbed. We'd be honored if you'd give ours a watch, as well. Happy holidays to you and yours!
I really really need to see Ahsoka meet the son of Anakin Skywalker and just have a conversation about him. Ahsoka can tell Luke about when his father was a Jedi hero and Luke could tell Ahsoka how Anakin did turn back to the light side before dying. I don't think Ahsoka knows that and probably has been living all this time with the thought that her Master died a monster and finding out that his son was able to bring him back at the end would mean a lot to her. And then if they REALLY want to hit us with a bang, the force ghost of Anakin appears to apologize for all he did and say how glad he is to see his former padowan and his son together. I mean they got Hayden back, they could do it.
I love seeing people get as emotional as I did. I hope Disney now realized what these characters mean to us and treats this property with greater care.
I have come to look forward to your reactions, as much as the show itself. You guys are really special- sentimental, intelligent, and legitimately clever/witty, and charming. Please keep up the great work- proud to be a peach.
Without question, the best TV I've ever had the privilege of watching. Although, I worry something's wrong with me because every time I think about, it still tugs really hard at my heart over 8 months later.
The crazy part is how much better the lightsaber choreography is in this episode compared to the episode with Ahsoka. Ahsoka’s skills with a lightsaber look damn near static when compared to Luke’s hallway scene in the season finale. I mean Ahsoka is technically more skilled and experienced with a lightsaber than Luke could ever be. She’s eviscerated droids, went toe to toe with General Grevious, Ventress, Darth Maul and Darth Tyrannus. She nearly beat Vader. Not too mention Sith inquisitors, legions of stormtroopers, clone troopers and the rest. She’s got about 40 years of fighting prowess under her belt. And yet if I were to just base each of their respective stats on what I saw in this season of the Mandalorian, Luke would disarm Ahsoka inside of a handful of seconds if the two ever faced off in combat. He’s gotten really strong in the Force. He’s probably as strong as Legacy Luke.
You guys had my favorite reaction video of the day! Thank you so much for being so awesome, you know your Star Wars information, but you still have the joy and wonder of a true fan. Keep up the good work, it's gonna be an awesome next few years! 👏
MARK HAMILL TWEETED A REACTION COMPILATION OF THIS SCENE, AND THIS VIDEO IS IN IT, WHICH MEANS LUKE SKYWALKER SAW YOU BOTH!!!!!!!! (i don't know why am i so excited but i am happy for y'all xD)
You guys have the best reaction videos to The Mandalorian! It feels really authentic and the know how of Star Wars lore is not forced at all. Kudos and I hope you guys keep doing these reactions!
Man, when that X-Wing flew in I was puzzled at first because I had become convinced Luke was out of the question for this series. Then the cloaked figure appeared and I paused the episode to stare at my wife next to me and say "No. NO. They wouldn't. They COULDN'T...!?" And I watched the rest of the episode in literal slack-jawed amazement and slowly leaking nostalgic tears.
I needed to re-live the reaction, this is the video that came up first and it's just does the scene and my experience so much justice. It's beautiful. I've ran out of superlatives and words for this scene now, they built it up so much with the music and the micro-reactions from the characters and as soon as the the green hue and the hum of the lightsaber enters, the emotion just washes over you. The music is so messianic, dark, hopeful... it's stunning. Thank you guys for your reaction too, honestly perfect and gives me goosebumps!
I wish you guys had more subscribers! You both are so funny and real and just, I've loved having both of you along for the ride on each episode. You really do deserve more subs. Great reaction, I look forward to more!
You know what the best thing about Luke’s reveal is that no one leaked it and it allowed everyone to experience it with no expectations. Imagine watching previous movies without knowing what to expect, could they have been received better?
I honestly do not understand how you guys don't have more subscribers. You quickly became one of my favourites when I first subscribed. Your reactions to this series have been something I have looked forward to every single week.
Great show, really well timed humor and so well balanced with your knowledge, excitement and genuine fandom. Enjoyed watching your reactions since Season 2:Episode 5. Thanks guys.
Guys, I have watched your review of this episode probably 15-20 times as I LOVED your reaction, especially given it mirrored by own. I don't care how old you are, if you grew up with the *classic* films, this brought (joyful) tears to your eyes to see this character done TRUE justice! Thanks so much for being real in your reaction...it made it easier on the rest of us to do the same.
This show is the reason 2020 isn’t totally horrible
the ONLY reason 2020 wasn't utterly unbearable was this show.
Monster Hunter got me through it.
Wandavision kinda ruined it
It's amazing they managed to Rogue One this ending past KK and Lucasfilm!
Unlike Rogue One they survived the experience well mostly...
Still doing it here.
I watch this episode every time I just want to remind myself I have feelings
And here I am in December 2022 doing exactly the same thing! Love these guys!
Here I am doing it again
That makes two of us. Awesome.
This single episode was better than the entire new trilogy.
@jaydawg116 me either. They can read the legends books. 😊
And the prequels
“Better” is an understatement
The worst people compliment something by stacking it on something else. But hey you got your Hate Clout. Good job!
@BloodyNeptune he didn’t
I cried, boys. 43 years old. Firefighter. Paramedic. Wildland firefighter. Chef. I've seen some shit. And I'm not ashamed to admit that I cried. Thank you, Jon and every single person involved in this masterpiece. Thank you.
This is the way.
@Stephen Smith That just means that Hope still exist inside you, just like it did when you were a little boy, watching the farmer kid from Tatooine save the galaxy.
Thank you for the beautiful comment as well
"Firefighter. Paramedic. Wildland firefighter. Chef. I've seen some shit."
I'm gonna go ahead and assume the worst was seen during your Chef days.
@DiscoRaptor Indeed, only the insecure care about what others think of them crying.
Disney: Hey guys, everyone is going to be crying there eyes out because there are getting everything they ever wanted.....anything we can do to lighten the air?
Producers: Sure, send in R2. That should help.
Viewers: LOSING OUR DAMN MINDS.
@Carl Zerris🤣
My headcannon is he just casually rolled in after taking on 40 more darktroopers
It only made sense. Where Luke goes, R2 is right there with him. When he rolled out from behind Luke I barked a delighted laugh and called out to the screen in my best Luke impression, "Hey R2!"
Jay going "Adam… Adam… Adam…" had me in tears 😂😂
Yeah the CGI face wasn't perfect, but I could hardly notice through all the tears. God Damn! This season made this 41yr old feel like a kid again!
Totally agree.... :´-)
Yeah the tears definitely diffuse the flaws for me in the CGI it was all about the emotion I didn't really care about the visuals or the effects it was all about the story in the emotion and it was perfect
You and me both
I would've been OK if he looked like a 4'10" 90 year old Asian grandmother...IT WAS LUKE F-ING SKYWALKER!!!!
@BloodyNeptune
That’s awesome! True fan👍
DUDE!!! Mark Hamill tweeted out an awesome post about the fans today, and BOTH of the two fan reaction compilation videos he shared have your reaction in it!! Mark Freakin' Hamill has seen your reactions!! Happy New Year to you both!!
can you post the link to that? Iwould love to see it.
Your nickname and pfp are perfect,I'm a big fan of Star Wars and Kobe.
I wish I could Like this more than once. Yes.
@Thanos that’s what I meant
This isn’t his prime, his prime in lightsaber combat yes
Exactly!
Anytime I’m having a bad day, I rewatch this video. Instant cure. You two are national treasures. ❤️ ❤️
I am 55 years old and I cried like a child of happy tears this whole season has been a gift to Star Wars fans everywhere
When Jay put his hand on Adam's shoulder as that x-wing flew in, I felt that
He literally said "I know..." that's the most Star Wars thing ever
Adam..........................Adam..................Adam...................
(Needless to say, i also echo your Boba Fett reaction.)
Adam, the pure joy on your face was worth the price of admission. 😉 It is because of this heartfelt reactions and your sincerity that keeps me coming back.
Thank you both for being a bright spot on the internet.
@Jay Schmidt You need to get out more! And eat your vegetables!
Totally seeing this. It’s our pleasure Dave. Thanks for the kind words. 🍑
I laughed inappropriately hard at "Welcome. You've got murder" during the dark trooper bootup.
I hope Disney took notes.
The sequels: That wasn't the way.
The Mandolorian: This is the way.
@Gomathinayagan Thirugnanasambandam No the extreme side represents the worst of the fandom. They suck out all of the joy of being a fan, old and new.
@BlueHooloovoo This was a wonderful post, thank you for this. I’m exhausted from all the sequel trilogy hate and I can’t wait until the young kids that loved those movies grow up and start making Star Wars content of their own… just like what happened with the prequel trilogy.
They really did redeemed themselves with this
The orange lightsaber is used now by Jedi Rey Skywalker
@Gaia ah sorry 100% wrong. Kilo Ren will murder Grogu
I’m 50 and openly wept in front of my whole family. My Luke is finally here. I saw Jedi when I was 12. I have been waiting for my Luke almost 40 years.
"So two Mandos walk into a bar" .. That cracked me up! You guys are awesome!
47 here and have been waiting since 1983 when I was 10 and return of the Jedi came out to see prime Luke Skywalker fight
I'm 48 years old...looked like the first time...many years ago
37 and I can't stop crying whenever I think about it!
I don't know if you saw the quote from JJ Abrams saying that a gun-toting, shots firing Han was the "true" Han, but it felt like that was the attitude everyone bar Mark went into the trilogy films with. “Favloni” is real. This is the way.....
Agreed 💯
Not inly has this show made me fall back in love with Star Wars, but it's shown me that I'm not alone in how much this universe means to me. Watching the various reaction videos and how excited, passionate and emotional this show has made people. I feel vindicated.
They made a 69-year-old man appear to be in his 20's. It's practically real magic. No complaining.
Boba acts like he's in his 20s and Luke looks it. They've got the time dilate reversal going big time!
Thank you guys for showing us, what we all looked like.... haha

Not only has this series brought my love back for Star Wars but you both have as well. Thank you both
You’re welcome duder. What a wild ride this show has been. It made 2020 suck a little less, exactly what we needed. 🍑
Breaking in with 'Binary Sunrise' as he reveals himself was just the perfect icing on the cake.
I was having a really rough day until I remembered Jay singing “it’s Boba Fett... bein sooooo cute *chinhand*” so thank you for your service. 100% turned my day around 🙌🏼
"Adam. Adam. Adam. ... Adam."
Easily one of my favorite reactions, guys.
"Check his hands!"
Same for me. It's priceless.
"Adam, Adam, Adam...I know, I know" That anxiety to wholesome peacefulness summed up everyone's reaction. Damn this episode saved Star Wars.
I'm 40 years old and I cried. This was the Luke I wanted in the sequel trilogy.
@Robert Rork ...😡😡😡
Never happened.
I think some still want Luke in a sequel trilogy that is rightly done. I know I do.
That's what everybody wanted dude.
There was a sequel trilogy???
I cried tears of joy seeing Luke again. My wife watched and said she could see me go back to my childhood in that moment and was so happy to be a part of it
That is such a sweet comment. It makes me happy for you both.
When Luke and R2 came back it was like seeing an old friend that you haven't seen in a long time and you just lose it
This entire episode was perfection. Then they had to go and hit you with so many feels back-to-back. We see Luke, we see R2 (which made me cry like a baby btw when he rolled in) and we see Mando and Grogu have their moment. UGH my heart has bursted
**Me entering this reaction video**
"These boys have zero idea how fucking much they're about to cry.
I am STILL crying over Luke’s return and Grogu leaving Mando. 😭
*Pauses at **13:49* Yup.. .yup.. those.. uh.. those are some serious waterworks right up in there.
Canceled my Disney on 18 December had to did it again because I saw on Facebook with like father like son for Luke and Aniken and I did the same
lol not at all!
@Lisamarie LiGreci-Newton im watching their reaction twice.
Hi guys, I saw you Luke reveal reaction on another “best of reactions” compilation and had to find your original video to watch your full video.
you’ve got another fan here, 👍😁
Same!
Me too
Me 3!
Same here 😊 then I subbed right after...especially the spice girls jig. 🤣 Just clean ol’ fun!
“hey man I like Star Wars again”. Imagine if Favreau and Filoni had been given the entire run of 6 movies instead of what we got for Episodes 1-3 and 6-9.
Imagine if Favreau and Filoni did the Thrawn Trilogy as the sequels?
3 was great 12 8 9 were trash
Put respect on 1-3
6-9 yes! 1-3 are fine for the time it came. But 6-9 yes!
@Trev Dakine They can have Bobby Ewing dream it all in the shower.
With 10 minutes they not only wrapped up 2 seasons of character development but brought me back to being 12 year old. I never thought I'd see the strong but wise and kind Luke Skywalker again. Jay at 13:02 when they showed the green lightsaber is almost exactly my reaction when I watched it with my little boy. :-)
It's been a blast watching you two react to what has been easily the best Disney era Star Wars show.
Nothing warms my heart more than seeing the two of you tear up as Luke takes off his hood. The amount of nostalgia, excitement, and pure love in your expressions is wonderful. Like, Adam was *shaking*. Truly wonderful to connect with other Star Wars fans on a similar level
I love how emotional you guys got. This show has made me feel like a seven year old again. Badly needed in a time like this. Thanks guys.
If I'm having a bad day, this reaction video always cheers me up. Great reaction to a great finale, and infectious happiness. Thanks. :)
I just watched it tonight and I was just as shocked as everyone. I was on set when Peyton Reed was directing, I got to walk the Star Destroyer set, I saw most of the cast but I did not expect one, let alone 2 classic characters, the secrecy on Mandalorian sets is very real. That’s amazing. I’ll never doubt their ability to surprise us again.
Probably the best of all reactions. You can tell these guys really felt it.
Ive been using a screenie of 13:51 to try and get people I know that dont watch Star Wars to understand how this scene felt to watch. Because its that.
I'm still crying...it's so...satisfying, happy and sad at the same time
I have been waiting decades to see Luke as a Jedi master. Star Wars Reboot incoming!
@KaleFGB stop complaining your obviously not a Star Wars fan
@Morbin Central looks like a fan made switch, this is a billion dollar company, working on a billion dollar franchise.
Bittersweet
@KaleFGB that’s really not true it looked great but not spot on
"Hey man I like Star Wars again!"
I felt that
Anytime I'm in need of a smile I rewatch reactions to this episode. This is one of my favorite ones.
I'd go with a custom saber instead of a galaxies edge saber in my humble opinion. They're just way too chunky and not really close to the real thing. The effects and build quality are great, but getting one custom made will definitely be more worth it. May the force be with you my friends, I'm glad you enjoyed this finale as much as i did!
i have never cried watching a tv show or movie till i watched this episode
The range of emotions in this show is truly amazing!!!
I cried like a little girl during this episode!
@Joel Mayberry It can be a la Hogwarts show where they train Jedi instead of wizards
@Joel Mayberry I mean they literally haven't announced it. And they would have recasted if they had plans for Luke in the future.
@Richie Rich Oh yeah? Do you work for Disney? They could easily give Luke his own show!
@Joel Mayberry There isn't going to be a Luke show.
I'm going through all these reaction videos and just loving every second. Its like sharing the moment with a thousand friends. Especially during you know what. But did no one else see part of the doctors ear missing after Cara shot that Imp? I thought that was a nice touch.
This episode was hands down one of the best if not the best I've seen. Seeing Luke in his prime is just...no words.
Guys, the deep psychological effect this episode had on me, i didn´t expect... Thank you to the creators of this series!
Whenever I need a laugh and a pick-me-up, I rewatch this video, and the one with Boba and the one with Ahsoka, and I feel so much better again!
Don’t forget the dark saber
@Saturn I already agreed with you a few comments back when the video came out...did you forget?
@Shamus Obi "The company referred to the project as “a new Original Series, starring Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen and executive produced by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni and Robert Rodriguez, set within the timeline of The Mandalorian.” -Vulture
@Shamus Obi kzclip.org/video/uwwrezdcLiA/бейне.html at 1:45, Jon Favreau literally saying they are two separate series. None of this was speculation. lol
Aaron Lassiter TL;DR. dont care what you say anyways Im always right LOL.
Your reaction is the purest reaction to this episode and I watched all of them!
(PS: This episode single handedly united the entire Star Wars fanbase)
The way Luke was revealed in stages was genius:
✅ X-Wing (with R2 installed)
✅ Grogu reaction
✅ Black and white image of SINGLE lightsaber user
✅ Trademark cloak
✅ GREEN lightsaber
✅ Glove on right hand only
"The cg made it look a little weird."
It did, but I didn't care one bit.
So cool thing that happened post release. A fan did an edit of the cg, fixing some of the issues, and got themselves HIRED by Lucasfilm!
CGI Luke voiced by Mark Hamill is infinitely preferable to no Luke.
It wasn't perfect but it was absolutely what it had to be! I needed that I was going to a bad part of my life and seeing Luke f****** Skywalker again saved me
Thats why they hired Shamook.
@The RivrPrncess agreed. They probably also had fewer people working on it in order to avoid leaks. We’ll take it.
"Let me look at you, with my own eyes "-dying Anakin/darth vader to Luke
"Hey man, I like Star Wars again!" You speak for us all, my friend. :) Absolutely fantastic reactions, guys!! And Jon Favreau, you are our HERO!
I love how these reactors remind me of Mystery Science Theater 3000!! Love their witty sarcasms and humor!!
Yes. This. Double this.🍑
Thank you!! That’s exactly the vibe we’re going for 😁
When I saw a single X-Wing the first thing I thought was no way and then the music started playing then that green lightsaber and I started to ugly cry with joy!
Nice! Yep to ugly cry 😭😭😭.
Me too! Me too!
The version of Luke Skywalker we've wanted to see since the Expanded Universe.
I need that in my life.
Thank you guys for the reactions. It's so fun to watch you guys and see the emotions. Have a great day guys.
Think that was the most satisfying TV episode I've ever seen in my life.
Without question, the best TV I've ever had the privilege of watching. Although, I worry something's wrong with me because every time I think about, it still tugs really hard at my heart over 8 months later.
Haha yes it is
Hell yeah!
Hard to disagree I have been waiting for prime Luke since I was a 10 year old kid watching return of the Jedi
“Skywalker CROOONCHH!” is the best thing I’ve seen in all these reactions so far.
Don’t worry, we will 🙂
Mando removed his helmet. Then, suddenly, I sensed billions of tears (including my own) as nerds across the galaxy began to weep.
Isnt it amazing how one episode can get people so much more emotional than the 3 sequel movies together?
Man, when that X-Wing flew in I was puzzled at first because I had become convinced Luke was out of the question for this series. Then the cloaked figure appeared and I paused the episode to stare at my wife next to me and say
"No. NO. They wouldn't. They COULDN'T...!?"
And I watched the rest of the episode in literal slack-jawed amazement and slowly leaking nostalgic tears.
God I’m glad I’m not the only adult who immediately teared up the second the green lightsaber was revealed.
Came back for a revisit, same goosebumps, same emotion. Just stunning.
I wish you guys had more subscribers! You both are so funny and real and just, I've loved having both of you along for the ride on each episode. You really do deserve more subs. Great reaction, I look forward to more!
We’re out here grinding, it’ll happen! 🍑
Another great thing about this season of Mandalorian was discovering you two guys. I felt everyone of your nerd tears in my heart.
@Jay Schmidt OH i'm in
Heck yeah! Wandavision soon! We ain’t going nowhere. 🍑
@pReview'd I’m sure you will because you guys are great.
Thanks for your support Shelley. We’re grinding it out, we’ll get there. 🙂
Great show, really well timed humor and so well balanced with your knowledge, excitement and genuine fandom. Enjoyed watching your reactions since Season 2:Episode 5. Thanks guys.
Almost a year later and I’m still coming back to this one. Solid job guys!!! 🤣
Everyone: Crying out of sadness and joy
Lucusfilm: Send in R2, it'll make everyone more happy :)
True. So true.
Everyone: Crying out harder
and make him shake in joy
13:51 -- *Exactly sums up how I felt at that moment. THANK YOU JOHN + DAVE for this unexpected-yet-priceless gift!*
Your reactions to Lukes appearance broke my heart. You're my new favorite reaction channel. Cheers.
During the entirety of Luke fight. at a single moment, all the nerds rose up. One of the best scenes I've seen in a while.
