The medical staff are working really hard. I really admire you for trying hard to save and treat your patients' lives. Nevertheless, it's a pity that there are people who sometimes interfere with treatment. I'll always cheer for you!
Don’t let them brainwash you. Some people actually need pain medication. I went to the emergency room today for accidentally hitting my thumb with a hatchet. After 5 hours of bleeding due to the incompetence of a Physician Assistant, who thinks i nicked an artery and isn’t sure if I damaged my tendon, sent me home with no pain medication. She says Tylenol will be fine. I can’t sleep due to the pain I’m in right now, so here i am. I guess that makes me a drug addict.
It's funny because I've worked for healtheast, so knowing how the other side of the care giving team sees your health care organization is interesting.
@Bucky Barnes mid levels can handle STEMIs easily lol. A good chunk of PAs including myself were Paramedics. The only thing we can’t really do is Cath...
such bullcrap. there aren't enough doctors to go around with the increasing demand of healthcare. we need mid-levels. To say one is better than the other is bullshit. Mid levels can handle the coughs and fever. The MDs can then allocate their time to trauma, stemi and strokes.
It's great that he likes where he works and feels supported, however, I was hoping to hear what it's like being a PA in the Emergency Department.
Katie Haefs 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 same!! That’s why I clicked on the video. Lol he felt very supported, but that’s good though

To work and be happy doing it, the most fulfilling feeling. I can't wait to be a PA if the universe allows me to.
He seems like a pretty cool, laid back guy...
This guy was definitely an operator..

Who are you. Where are you....identify....
PA aren't even closely viewed as equals by "MDs." Let's bet honest here. Mid level providers is about as far as it can be pushed. Helpers.

They aren't equals, but I believe they do have a place in Healthcare. AS LONG AS they don't push for unsupervised FPA
@Dr. Mike Emergency Medicine PAs who work full time make way more than that! This guy is just salty living at McDonalds!
Dr. Mike that number is typical for primary care PAs, it is closer to 120k if you are an Er PA.
