ugh. I'm hyper critical too. but only because I'm fucking sick and tired of little getting away with not living life in facts of reality. I've had enough.. looks like Bill has too 58:31
Heehee... I share their sorry lack of pigment and at my cousins wedding, my aunt made me carry a parasol. I tried to put it down so I wouldn't block the view, but this lady say, "no dear, you look like you don't handle the sun well" 😆
I've been wanting to transform my body sculpture for a while now. I'm really glad I found these two greek gods to set me on the right path to nutrition and wellness.
I love you both! Thanks for being so vulnerable and honest it shows a whole new side to you and makes you completely relatable! Shows growth and maturity. I hope the rest of your days you are happy and know you're loved!
I like that Bill has enough respect for Jim that he doesn't even attempt to rail him ( I mean even just in a fun way) or challenge him to the extent he does with other people . There's a clear " this is one of the greats , we both know the other is funny , there's nothing to prove here" attitude .
Just for the record, my roommate in college literally didn't have to study. He was the most unbelievable test taker you'll ever see. So there are some people that make good grades and don't work for it.
Yeah, if you’re the host, you’re supposed to let the guest talk, it’s not like normal life. But if I had Bill wanted to be my friend, I would get tired of his constant talking.
I always love how two true comedians sitting down to talk turns, at times, philosophical. Yes, they are foremost craftsman, but part of every comedian is to be a subversive philosopher.
bill, this ep made me like you even more than i already did. i have always found you to be funny but today i saw glimpses of your deep soul that i had no idea were there. wow. you've done a lot of inner Work and it shows. props
@Bad Luck it's ok though because Bill is funny. Can't say the same for Bert at least not when he's talking over Tom. I like Bert but he trys wayyyyy to hard to fit in and constantly makes shit up.
@Zachary Greenwald lmao dude this guy couldn't handle that zoo of a podcast. Funny thing is that's half the reason I watch is for the catastrophic cut offs
That animal story. I woke up in the middle of the night to hear a fox and its pups being taken by a lynx. All the neighbors, me included, thought someone was beating up a woman and called the police. I will never forget those screams.
Burr, CK, Chapelle, Fluffy, Gaffigan and Regan- From the first time we saw their Comedy Central Presents specials, you could just tell they had massive staying power. You get 5 great variations of observational humor.
Imagine walking in and seeing some headphones and clothes floating then you hear two voices from out of nowhere and it's just two ghosts shitting on each other i love the Halloween episode
God damn this was a good podcast. I listened to it twice when it came out and even now I'm not bored with it. It would be cool if they did this more often.
We've heard of 'beyond the pale' but this is ridiculous. All jokes aside, these are two of my favourite comedians. One's a certified GOAT and the other is so underrated, it's disgraceful.
@TD agree 100%, I’m like that when really into a conversation, get over-excited and blurt out my thoughts before I forget them😂 If I’m BORED my interruptions still happen, but start with ‘Anyway..’ and are generally brutal changes of subject.
I remember being a lineman in high school football. Lineman have to literally sacrifice their minds and bodies for the sake of someone else to move the ball and getting all the credit. Try throwing yourself in harms way for someone you hate. This was a skill I carried into life.
Having discovered Bill in early 2000s I can say he's the closest thing to Mike Tyson's evolution of a human being.. especially when you discussed finding out why you are the way the you are.. I can only hope to reach that moment in my life.. thanks for the continued brilliance over the years..
I watched your podcast for the first time because I am a huge fan of Jim Gaffigan. I love how Jim began interviewing you. He’s really good at asking all the right questions so well. Anyways, I enjoyed your honesty of yourself and am a new subscriber. This was a really good and interesting podcast. I look forward to binging on all your previous podcast! Well done Bill!!!
@Z B I agree that Bill's personality is rough but it was like Bill was talking to himself. There was no conversation. A cardboard cut-out of Jim would've got more words out. Lol!
Dude they’re both comedians….. Jim Gaffigan I’m sure has been under way worse criticism by hecklers… they’re pals and everyone under the sun knows Bill Burrs personality.
I love both of these guys...and to see and hear them both talk and disagree...the good nature banter is infectious. If the remainder of the world could be as civil to each other as Bill and Jim. They should do a tour with the both of them trading barbs and jabs...it's so cute. Two pale white guys going round and round. Kudos to both of you guys.
@Vincent Jones Bill said something that is pretty dumb if you think about it. He said humans are the worst. Yet animals will other animals while they are alive. I call that worse.
Hey Bill, You come across so genuine. In your podcast or even in a scripted Mandalorian episode. You're a funny human being! I'm always a little bit better after seeing you do you. Anyways, hope all is well. Happy new year.
God bless you both!! Love the show!! Hats off to you for taking care of your health, it's no joke. My husband of 27 years recently passed away he was 46 had heart attack. He never liked me much, but i know he loved the family. Also had the love 💕 of my life, my Pitbull Darcy we moved to Mexico she ate a poisonous frog and died at 7 years old, best dog in the world!!! Much love well wishes and continued success to you!!
This has to be one of my favorite one to one's ever. A couple buddies having dialogue and disagreements and moving on. The world needs to watch and study this. GREAT!!!!!!!
Old Billy red balls shooting the breeze for an hour 2 times a week needs no guests. Except for an occasional drop in from the lovely Nia, always a good listen
Bill, this new format where you bring people in, it's awesome :) I could listen to you and an entertaining guest talk for 20 hours straight. Good camera, good production and such entertaining conversation. A few times you genuinely had me laughing with you like I was part of a good conversation. Anyways, just wanted to say I really loved it :)
Drinking game: Go to random time in the video, if Bill is talking take a shot of vodka, if Jim is talking have a sip of water. You have ten rounds to survive, GO!
Desserts are like "clown food". Laughed my *ss off!
Jim is absolutely charming, I would be so stressed out by Bill’s intense, accusatory energy but Jim just chills and rolls with it. Love him!
I love Bill, but holy fugaroni he's out for blood.
WOW! The photons bouncing between Bill & Jim are so intense, watching this gave me corrective LASIK eye surgery. Thanks guys!😎👨🏾🦯
Loving the "old married couple" energy these two are generating.
"Could you be more angry about nothing?"
😂
This podcast is like looking at the sun. You two could do a podcast in the dark.
Gosh darn you made me laugh out loud, well done sir
JG: "When im talking you to you, I feel like I'm talking to a lawyer"
This is one of the most true comments ever. The comedic lawyer BB
here in Chicago, we...i... call it, " quit flaking,"
people try to flip the script, lazily. stealing what you said while they're at it. pathetic
ugh. I'm hyper critical too. but only because I'm fucking sick and tired of little getting away with not living life in facts of reality. I've had enough.. looks like Bill has too 58:31
@Frank Joseph RIP GG.
Like talking to my wife. Watch the words.
Nope. The lawyer was Greg
I had to turn my brightness down to last notch to see these guys on camera!
😂
🤣🤣🤣
😅😅😂😂😂
🤣
Heehee... I share their sorry lack of pigment and at my cousins wedding, my aunt made me carry a parasol. I tried to put it down so I wouldn't block the view, but this lady say, "no dear, you look like you don't handle the sun well" 😆
This podcast was super helpful! I got to laugh the whole time AND I was able to put it on full screen and use it as a flashlight lol
😂
😂
😂
Bill and Jim should start their own video podcast.
I love Bill. He is both insanely intense and really open and honest with his shit.
More of this. Gaffican being cruel is so damn funny.
I've been wanting to transform my body sculpture for a while now. I'm really glad I found these two greek gods to set me on the right path to nutrition and wellness.
Gaelic Gods
😂😂😂
And please never say body sculpture again
Don't let the albino white lighting throw you off....
I fucking love how open Bill's willing to be. What an excellent duo here.
@David Aldridge he didn't bust theos balls for being open, he did it for being hyperbolic and essentially making stuff up to sound over dramatic
@Funny Donor he's already gone in depth about his shroom trip in other broadcasts
The shrooms
Yes
Aye. Opening up while still being ball-bustingly honest.
It's like two sentient bags of milk having a conversation.
Omg If I was drinking milk when I read this it would have come out of my nose! 🤣
😂🤣😂🤣
🤣🤣😂😂😅😅. Respect
@R W I know right made me laugh out loud thanks bud I'm sick right now so that's really helpful
Nowhere near enough likes for this line.
One of the best podcasts Bill has ever done, which is saying something.
It's so wild to watch two masters of their craft just vibe like this.
“Not THAT white” lmao !!! I admire these dudes for being so funny but also real men who talking about real life stuff
I love you both! Thanks for being so vulnerable and honest it shows a whole new side to you and makes you completely relatable! Shows growth and maturity. I hope the rest of your days you are happy and know you're loved!
Jim is a great interviewer
I've seen him take the reins in a couple different podcasts now. He's got the look and voice, timbre, tone for it.
@Epictetus LOL agreed
@Thomas Pierce it's not cringe pal
@Thomas Pierce Man, people "cringe" at anything and everything these days. Wtf
@Van PastorMan 100% agree, but it's fun to hear at a minor league hockey game!
I love how Bill just rants and Jim backs him up like a sidekick
two of the best ever. If Brian Regan was there the universe would implode.
Y’all are hilarious together, the dynamic duo.
I thought of that trope/bit where the smart guy gets paid to do the other peoples homework
My best friend Jay is the same. All throughout college. That bastard lol.
How to stay sober, drink everytime Bill let's Jim finish a sentence.
Yeah, if you’re the host, you’re supposed to let the guest talk, it’s not like normal life. But if I had Bill wanted to be my friend, I would get tired of his constant talking.
@Ser Dunk let your guest talk, its call the art of conversation
@uraniumjoe ikr, enough said 💯
@ActionAlligator Sean Hannity is notorious for interrupting those he interviews
Everyone knows that Jim is a clean comedian. How could Bill not?
Because he's funny...
That's for our benefit
and at the same time, Jim was shocked to learn that Bill often swears in his comedy.
These two need each other.
I always love how two true comedians sitting down to talk turns, at times, philosophical. Yes, they are foremost craftsman, but part of every comedian is to be a subversive philosopher.
Exactly
bill, this ep made me like you even more than i already did. i have always found you to be funny but today i saw glimpses of your deep soul that i had no idea were there. wow. you've done a lot of inner Work and it shows. props
My 2 comedy heros together in one video. This really is a merry christmas :D
Two of my favourites together on one show?! Blessings
This was phenomenal! Bills just pouring out his emotional origins and Jim’s just the best buddy guiding him through his feeling hilariously
Just watch Dr.Phil
Well Said Samuel.
Jim, your ultimate angry man shrink!
My two favorite comedians of all time. I couldn’t ask for more. Thank you God! 🤘🏻🙃🙏🏻
Just popped this on to do the dishes and clean the kitchen. This was a fun conversation. Thanks Bill and Jim.
_Gaffigan, one of the most talented comics ever_
My two favorite stand-up comics in the same room having an in-depth conversation... am I my dreaming?
Bill talks about himself and Jim is ok with it. Fun and insightful!
Seems like he had to because bill kept cutting him off most times .. Not saying it was a podcast ..just noticed
This needs to be a weekly podcast. These guys are so different from each other but click so well. Can't wait for part 2.
@Jesse Lund sorry but Bert is just as funny and I can guarantee he's led a far more fun and interesting existence than all of his haters combined
@Bad Luck it's ok though because Bill is funny. Can't say the same for Bert at least not when he's talking over Tom. I like Bert but he trys wayyyyy to hard to fit in and constantly makes shit up.
@Jesse Lund I’ve watched every episode of 2b1c and Bill can be just as bad as Bert. Shown in this and the one after.
@Zachary Greenwald lmao dude this guy couldn't handle that zoo of a podcast. Funny thing is that's half the reason I watch is for the catastrophic cut offs
@Dave Dee I hope you don’t watch 2 bears 1 cave
Two of the best comedians ever
Billy, this was a good sit down with Jim 👍
That animal story.
I woke up in the middle of the night to hear a fox and its pups being taken by a lynx.
All the neighbors, me included, thought someone was beating up a woman and called the police.
I will never forget those screams.
A little late to the party but this is the funniest lighting I've ever seen, it's like looking at 2 pieces of printer paper lol!
Never seen bill this relaxed with anyone
This is Bill Burr in the middle of an existential crisis and Jim just finding out about it.
@Mike Viall I hope your valiant fight to destroy communist comedians on YT comment section continues
@Epictetus I guess you failed. Good luck.
@Mike Viall I don't know how to be more sarcastic than that
@Epictetus Exactly.
Burr, CK, Chapelle, Fluffy, Gaffigan and Regan- From the first time we saw their Comedy Central Presents specials, you could just tell they had massive staying power. You get 5 great variations of observational humor.
Literally my 2 favorite comedians! Love this
Got genuine love for both you cats.
That upbringing shit is real and I now get why I feel like I relate to Bill so much.
Jim being Bill’s interviewer 🤣🤣
I like Bill and Conan together more. Mad energy.
Imagine walking in and seeing some headphones and clothes floating then you hear two voices from out of nowhere and it's just two ghosts shitting on each other i love the Halloween episode
Jim Gaffigan is just such a pleasant, intelligent and unstated funny guy. Very likeable.....
So patient with Bill’s constant interrupting ha. Bill’s made for the solo pod
I don't like his stand up but I like him on shows like this. Also I am so sad about lobsters.
Jim kept Bill grounded and on topic. Jim was a nice juxtaposition for a Bill podcast.
Never curses and all his jokes are clean but he’s awesome 🤩
love bills consistent take on plastics floating in the ocean⚡
God damn this was a good podcast. I listened to it twice when it came out and even now I'm not bored with it. It would be cool if they did this more often.
Never thot id see my 2 favorite comedians podcast together. Too good
We've heard of 'beyond the pale' but this is ridiculous.
All jokes aside, these are two of my favourite comedians. One's a certified GOAT and the other is so underrated, it's disgraceful.
Jim looks camo'd into the wall
EDIT:. He couldn't say Cleo's name, that's how much pain it brings him
EDIT2:. Bill just pitched every comedian origin
I’m going to watch this during the day, it’s too real to listen to before bed lmao. . And I’m not even joking
Bill is like the king of interrupting in the middle of a sentence lol
@TD agree 100%, I’m like that when really into a conversation, get over-excited and blurt out my thoughts before I forget them😂
If I’m BORED my interruptions still happen, but start with ‘Anyway..’ and are generally brutal changes of subject.
I thought that was Jimmy Fallon.
go watch two bears one cave lol
I thought that was Bert, until I heard their podcast first
@Robbie Fitzgerald you mean Brett Kushner? lol
I remember being a lineman in high school football. Lineman have to literally sacrifice their minds and bodies for the sake of someone else to move the ball and getting all the credit. Try throwing yourself in harms way for someone you hate. This was a skill I carried into life.

Anyways, I enjoyed your honesty of yourself and am a new subscriber. This was a really good and interesting podcast. I look forward to binging on all your previous podcast! Well done Bill!!!
I feel bad for Jim, he's obviously trying to be healthy by working out and Bill just scoffs like "look at you fatty! You obviously don't work out"
@Z B I agree that Bill's personality is rough but it was like Bill was talking to himself. There was no conversation. A cardboard cut-out of Jim would've got more words out. Lol!
Dude they’re both comedians….. Jim Gaffigan I’m sure has been under way worse criticism by hecklers… they’re pals and everyone under the sun knows Bill Burrs personality.

Lol Bill says “We just started shitting on each other” but that was definitely all coming from his end 😂
smartwatches cause bill's heart rate to spike
@Vincent Jones poor people don’t eat lobster
@Van PastorMan Sounds delicious!
@Vincent Jones Bill said something that is pretty dumb if you think about it. He said humans are the worst. Yet animals will other animals while they are alive. I call that worse.
These guys make a great team. Thanks!

I need this podcast combo once a quarter. The back and forth between you two is brilliant.
This has to be one of my favorite one to one's ever. A couple buddies having dialogue and disagreements and moving on. The world needs to watch and study this. GREAT!!!!!!!
As it should be
Bill you finally found out how to properly have a guest on YOUR podcast. Great stuff, let’s get more of these.
@Derek Keenan 💯
@Derek Keenan I disagree, their banter is pretty good. Always cracks me up.
@Fake name nia is the worst, she kills any fun times being had
I'd much prefer Bill being alone when recording podcasts, Bill is better on his own.
Old Billy red balls shooting the breeze for an hour 2 times a week needs no guests. Except for an occasional drop in from the lovely Nia, always a good listen
Jim’s new Netflix special was great!
The Podcast we all deserve on a weekly basis.
this was a funny ass conversation, almost good enough to be its own special.
I love the fake argumentative way you both talk to each other, you both roll with it so well
I thought Bill was one of the few that still had a set of balls but this has me questioning that 🤯
I love how bill said they ripped eachother when in fact it was bill who did all the ripping 🤣🤣🤣
Noticed it too. Billy Bing Bong needed more shrooms. lol.
Too funny, Bill, and kind lol
Jim Gaffigan is the ultimate in Dad jokery 👌🏻
That sick version of Bill was definitely the robot version. Watching it was like buying a pair of Yeezys from the UK.
Bill, this new format where you bring people in, it's awesome :)
I could listen to you and an entertaining guest talk for 20 hours straight. Good camera, good production and such entertaining conversation. A few times you genuinely had me laughing with you like I was part of a good conversation. Anyways, just wanted to say I really loved it :)
These guys are comedy gold together, just shooting the sh*t.
Jim to Bill: "Everytime I talk to you I feel like I'm talking to a lawyer" 😂
@j spaulding it was on seguras podcast. It was the first time he was on? Not she if he's been back
@CutEmUp187 When? Where (what podcast, etc?)
@j spaulding so he tore into her for trying to "psychoanalyze" him (bill). Then Bill proceeds to do this same thing to her.
@CutEmUp187 When/ where did he light up Christina P.?
what a great ep; can't believe it's been out a year already and i hadn't watched it
I love having Bill on video in a real studio! I wish he would stick to this but I get that his thing is his thing
I love these two guys ❤️
OMG, these guys are talking about stuff so relatable... very enjoyable listening to them ~ thanks guys!
Burr and Gaffigan. Priceless.
Seriously man, I want more Jim and Bill. This should be a regular thing. Can wait for Part 2.
Bill is gold with almost anyone
It was good. Jim was like his therapist. Bill wouldn't stop talking. Lol! Looking forward to the 2nd half, hopefully Bill let's him talk.
Yes!!!!
God damn. Stop saying that shit.
People keep asking for ‘the lighting strikes show’ and never see the irony.
Same... This was awesome, and the last thing I would ever have predicted would work 😂
these two together, talking for hours -- merry christmas TO ME! thanks for this you guys. 😻
Wear your sun glasses folks. It’s mighty bright in here! Jim is so bright he’s like the Sun gone human.
Srsly love you guys.
The weirdest part of this was when Bill asked him, "You work clean?" ... Jim was probably thinking, this jackass has never heard of me before.
It's a workout listening to you guys!
✌️
Bill you're a legend man. Absolute badass.
If there's a sequel to "Powder" these guys are my top two picks for the lead role.
They both get struck by lightning and bourbon at the same time.
Ahahahahahhahahaha!!!
Bahaha good one!
They should do this show regularly and call it 'shockingly caucasian'
Lol
There is something undescribably special about Jim Gaffigan asking earnestly, "What did you learn on the shrooms?"
I’m sure Jim had a great time doing this podcast lmao
Pretty humble of Bill to not bring up his own show
Two of my favorite comedians! Glad I'm here for it
I'd love to see Bill with his siblings on the podcast. 🤔
Watching these old pasty fellas arguing about working out has to be the funniest thing I've ever seen. 🤣 Gotta love it
@electable your comment, ironically, is totally self indulgent
Yo is it just me or bill looks gray
Drinking game: Go to random time in the video, if Bill is talking take a shot of vodka, if Jim is talking have a sip of water. You have ten rounds to survive, GO!
Would love to see Bill do these more!
Glad to see you both talking together.
