      First of all awesome content. I feel like I found a hidden gem!
      At the moment I am a freelance webdesigner and currently I am looking to hire my first employee.
      The main thing I am struggling with is finding a good source for reliable candidates.
      Any tips?

    Yesssss, language barriers!!!!!!! A HUGE concern for customer service, PERIOD. This should very well make employees liabilities for that company and they need to move to train in order to effectively manage it from internal controls.

    cons :- delays, lack of focus(due to lack of interaction) , intellectual property/security risk, dealing with fake accounts, language barriers, freelancer may be expensive, communication can be difficult

      Not sure if that's an argument against outsourcing but how successful would Jeff Bezos be if he tried to deliver all the Amazon packages himself?

    T-Mobile outsourced their customer service & I switched providers. I will not support that kind of nonsense.

      @Joe Shmoe I do agree with customer service not being something you should outsource for the same reasons you stated. However there are plenty of things that outsourcing would be the better option. Things such as web design or really anything related to digital design.

      @Running Remote I worked for call centers for many years, I have experience in this kind of stuff. I worked for the big banks dealing with customers all over the country. They all said the same thing, we rather deal with American representatives because there’s a language barrier with across seas reps. The across seas reps would screw up accounts & make mistakes. T-Mobile hires these across seas reps and the problems I mentioned earlier are the same, language barrier, they don’t understand or vise versa, they make simple mistake. Let’s help our economy by employing U.S. citizens so they can assist U.S. customers.
