Hey Liam! First of all awesome content. I feel like I found a hidden gem! At the moment I am a freelance webdesigner and currently I am looking to hire my first employee. The main thing I am struggling with is finding a good source for reliable candidates. Any tips?
Thanks for the detailed information on outsourcing. I see so much information on both sides of the issue. It is clearly not a one size fits all approach to business. Your experience and thoughtful reflections on this issue is appreciated.
Yesssss, language barriers!!!!!!! A HUGE concern for customer service, PERIOD. This should very well make employees liabilities for that company and they need to move to train in order to effectively manage it from internal controls.
cons :- delays, lack of focus(due to lack of interaction) , intellectual property/security risk, dealing with fake accounts, language barriers, freelancer may be expensive, communication can be difficult
@Joe Shmoe I do agree with customer service not being something you should outsource for the same reasons you stated. However there are plenty of things that outsourcing would be the better option. Things such as web design or really anything related to digital design.
@Running Remote I worked for call centers for many years, I have experience in this kind of stuff. I worked for the big banks dealing with customers all over the country. They all said the same thing, we rather deal with American representatives because there’s a language barrier with across seas reps. The across seas reps would screw up accounts & make mistakes. T-Mobile hires these across seas reps and the problems I mentioned earlier are the same, language barrier, they don’t understand or vise versa, they make simple mistake. Let’s help our economy by employing U.S. citizens so they can assist U.S. customers.
Do you have any other pros or cons that I didn't mention?
@Weston Zayd yea, been watching on flixzone for since december myself =)
A trick: watch series at flixzone. I've been using it for watching loads of movies recently.

Thanks Trisha! Let me know what else you'd like me to cover.
Great video. I’m thinking about outsourcing my service business. This helps for sure
Glad to see it helped. Let me know if you have any videos you'd like me to make.

Great video, well articulated.
Intellectual Property -- really good observation and suggestion for protective software. Kudos!
Good video.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Trading money for security, you trend to loss control.
Not sure if that's an argument against outsourcing but how successful would Jeff Bezos be if he tried to deliver all the Amazon packages himself?

Overlapping clips? Hmmm i guess we have found another disadvantage of outsourcing 😂😂
I think it was done deliberately, as a transition.
That one was actually edited by myself so probably the opposite would be true in this case.
fundamentally cost is reduces, access to global hiring pool, guaranteed work continuation,
Great
T-Mobile outsourced their customer service & I switched providers. I will not support that kind of nonsense.

Why do you think it's nonsense?
