I remember watching this video years ago as a "pre-med"/undergraduate student. Now i'm in my last year of medical school applying to residency. To this day I still can't believe I got into medical school and I'm about to graduate and get my MD. To all of those people wanting to get into medical school, do not ever give up no matter how hard it gets. Keep the determination and passion up. You will go through hard times and failures but use those as learning opportunities. Keep grinding, keep studying hard, but most importantly take care of your mental and physical health. All the best to those students who were like me in university! :) Edit: I matched into emergency medicine! WAHOO!!!!!!
@The Ultimate Reductionist as a guy in grad school for applied mathematics, I completely agree. Just a constant fight to grasp the perfect mental visualization of the problem, especially in non-linear dynamics, that perspective is the most important.
Novo Eduardo AC graduation is at the end of any big step, whether it’s your kindergarten graduation, your 8th grade graduation, your high school graduation, your college graduation, or med school graduation.

Everybody is sharing their story in the comments so I would like to start my own: 9/2022 I have my first med school interview tomorrow. I’m really nervous 10/2022 I got waitlisted from one of my top three programs. It’s the first post interview decision I’ve gotten so it’s hard to stay positive when the first one isn’t a success. 11/2022 I got my first medical school acceptance! I’m so excited!
Every time I find myself crying into my books wondering why I took this path, I watch this video. Medical school is without a doubt the most difficult thing I've ever done and will probably ever do, and this gives me hope that it will all get better. But for now, here's to surviving anatomy...

des 12335 Shadowing can be a tricky thing, but you can always send a formal letter to your primary care doctor to see if they would let you come in for a day. I did that with my pediatrician, and he was more than glad to have me come in. I also had a few contacts. My dad works at a surgery center, which allowed me to come shadow a couple of surgeons in the OR and one at his office. Try reaching out to your pre-med club and that may help facilitate something. Also, if you aren’t a hospital volunteer yet then I encourage you to become one. This is also a good way of networking and getting shadowing opportunities (this means letters of rec and service hours too, which are very important come application time). But I did do a lot of cold calls, and I actually got a couple of docs to let me come in. Just keep trying!
Foofighter0724 Thank you so much! I will definitely take your advice into consideration!😊👍ang tips for shadowing? I’ve been reaching out and it’s extremely hard to find anyone who will let me shadow them.
@des 12335 I am not sure if they will respond, but because I am a 2nd year medical student I can let you in on a few things: it's good to have a dream of what you want to do as a doctor, always keep that dream in the back of your mind because it can help propel you forward. However, don't be dead set on anything before you get in. For example, I thought I also wanted to be a surgeon too but once I was accepted and went through the first year my interests fluctuated. Now I am interested in psychiatry, neurology, and internal medicine. Even then, once I reach 3rd year these could all change so I am still trying to stay open to whatever comes my way. The most important thing for you to do as a pre-med is to focus on doing well in your pre-requisites and the MCAT. Get the shadowing, extracurriculars and experiences you need to make sure this is the right thing for you. It is a long haul, and you need to know in your heart of hearts that you want to be a doctor above all else. Once you are in, you will have a whole slew of different variables to take into account to determine what specialty is right for you and which one is realistic for you to apply and eventually match into.
Regards customer support representatives and the other day and the best of my life with a lot to be the first place I have been trying out the door is always good to hear about it but
Honestly it doesn’t, it doesn’t show how stressed these students are. A huge number have to take fifteenth drugs to stay awake or to keep concentration just to study.
This was such an inspiration to watch as I am going through my pre med courses. Sometimes I feel like giving up but then I get drawn to these videos. And now I am up at 1:02 am, refocusing, and educating myself more. The only thing thats harder for me is finding a balance and that I am young and have a family as well. But coming from a huge family where discouragement and negativity was always lurking about, my wife and son makes me get up in the middle of the night and fight to become a doctor. They are the reason I want to succeed.
It'll probably be sometime next year. I am trying to talk to the school I am going to, to see if I could take a few courses at a time that'll give me some anatomy or some science classes in general along with my required classes for my bachelors degree. I am really ready to learn more about medicine and how it all works.
This is truly an inspiration! I am 17 years old and I am going into my junior year in a few days, and I am realizing that I truly want to be a doctor. Im taking Ap bio and Physics this year! I hope that I can make it! Thanks so much for this video!
This video made me tear up a whole lot. One medical student also mentioned, "brains are what get you through high school, but dedication is what will get you through medical school!" This actually summed up my final decision that I do want to become a physician. It's just a passion that you have to envy. It's a God's will (well, I hope so; praying on it). We need more of thus video...God Bless Everyone!
Chaff LS those tears are you passion and drive good luck I am also working on finishing my pre reqs. I do say I get emotional the closer I get to actually applying!!!
I am currently 33 finishing up my third year and I can say that when I started it was a pretty daunting task. It was hard going from working every day to studying all day everyday. However, I had work experince and "life experience" which made me appreciate the oppurtunity I was afforded to even have the capacity to start medical school. If I can do it you can. Plus you will have both medical AND business sense which is a plus in this field nowadays!!!!
I'm a junior in high school trying to figure out my future and this was very inspirational. A lot of people view completing 10+ years of education to become a MD as 'wasteful' and I disagree. If you love to learn and are open to new experiences and crave challenges, then it's not a waste. It's the journey to getting something you want that is the best part.
I'm 3 weeks away from the end of 1st year barrier exam in medical school and am starting to burn out a little bit, but this video perked me up and really put things in perspective for me. Thank you thank you for providing that extra bit of inspiration to get me over the line.
This is such a brilliant video documenting the lives of humble students as they go through the insurmountable odds of medical school. Thank you for putting this video together. There is light at the end of the tunnel! I can't wait till I finish my training so I can one day serve humankind.
Sounds like a difficult decision. I wish you the best. It's very grueling, that's for sure. I only followed these students with the camera a few times early in the morning but it gave me a deep appreciation for the level of commitment they have to have to succeed. Cheers!
I was in the United States Marine Corps for 8 long, hard, and painful years. I left the Marines about a year ago and am starting my work toward Medschool. This video was very nice look into the life of what Medschool is like, thank you for posting it. I love a challenge and the Marine Corps has never not given me one that I could not handle. So I look forward to the new challenge that will come.
I can remember watching this video before starting Med school... now Im a 4th year med student and found everything in this video to be extremely accurate. This has been an amazing journey!!
To anyone who's reading this comment, you're not here by accident there's a reason why you're here watching this video. Fighting, soon to be doctors! U got this
I keep being told that the pre med courses like O chem are going to be tough and like hell, but videos like these remind one thing that is required to keep on going: determination. Regardless of how hard it gets just keep pushing onward
I love the passion in their eyes when they talk about what they love. It's so inspiring. I've wanted to go to med school for a year now and I'm ready to chase that dream!
I'm watching this 8 years later and I'm inspired. I'm definitely pursuing this career irrespective of the age when I'm done from pharmacy school by God's grace. Thank you.
This video gave me a surreal realization of what medical school is truly about. None the less, it has also encouraged me to work even harder to over come what seems like an extremely daunting task of getting into medical school and doing good.
This triggers so much anxiety and I haven't even walked in their shoes for a second. These people are really tough, kudos to them for staying so determined. Glad I chose engineering which is easier on the nerves.
I first watched this documentary a few years before starting med school. I found it so incredibly inspiring. I'll have to watch it again to remind myself of why I'm doing this. It's easy to lose sight of things when you're burying your head in books 60 - 80 hours a week.
Wow, I needed this. I was taking a break from studying, (first year med student) went on youtube to watching boxing videos and this video came up. What a blessing! God knew what I was thinking and how I was feeling and showed me this. Thanks so much! Just the fuel I need to get back at it and continue on this journey.
I love her faith , whether you believe in absolutely anything I think it's a great quality of hers to find something beyond herself to keep her going, whatever you need , you find it & you fucking do it for that reason. you never quit, you push yourself , fuss & cry , but you pull the fuck through . Because you believe in life & a purpose & a reason for your being. I love that. Sometimes I think mentally ill break , but if I look for something beyond myself idk it just calms me or something . thanks for the upload - future Dr. (;
I have watched a few med students go thru school at different places and I must say it's not only tons of brain work but it takes lots and lots of physical endurance. The hours are extreme. I am proud of all the usa med grads; they deserve a real pat on the back!
These students have the utmost admiration and appreciation for the body donors. We filmed quite a few of them sharing their experience of anatomy lab but it couldn't go in this film. Is there laughter and joking in anatomy lab? Of course. There will always be jokers, but for many, I would venture that it is a coping mechanism for being in a room with 100+ dead bodies. I never observed any students being disrespectful of the bodies and all realized what a gift they were given.
GREAT video. I'm a 4th year and I've been going back thinking about the past 3 years of medical school. It's amazing to see the growth and change you go through in medical school from 1st year orientation to Match Day and graduation. This video is very very accurate describing each year of med school.
such an inspiring video, i am about to be first year pharmacy student, seeing that med students having even harder lives than us is very inspiring. thank you for the video!
I just finished my undergraduate and I was contemplating whether to go to medical school or not but after seeing this video I am more motivated to go to medical school. It’s hard but I think I can do it!!! I hope I start next year 😢🙏
This is so nice. I am 23 years old and I wish I could be a physician. But I hope I get to do well as a registered nurse someday. I feel I like the health care field very much. I am self motivated and have done so much, but I am sort of nervous to apply to nursing school. Medical school may be hard but have it as a badge of honor because not everyone makes it there.
Came across this video because I've been re-thinking my major.( Elementary education) For some reason my heart always comes back to wanting to go into medicine and the only thing holding me down is that I don't feel smart enough. I was really inspired about this video and i'm soooo going to be praying about if this is what God wants for me :)
I'm in a premed club where doctors come in and present. They all have multiple backgrounds of their education. Majority of the doctors say, "You don't have to be smart, I sure as hell wasn't..." In a funny, yet serious way. I'm sure you are smart. You just have to have the desire, the passion, the commitment, to choose this specialty, especially.
Watched this as a premed then medical student and now as a senior resident. Have managed to cross paths with one of the students shown in this video. It's truly a blessing to have come this far.
I'm a high school student who's considering medical school and I can honestly say that this video was quite intriguing. It changed my entire perspective on everything. I got a little taste of what life will be like. Its tough, but determination will get you through it. If you love what you do, then it shouldn't be too difficult. It is possible to accomplish. You just got to want it, a lot. And i believe these challenging courses only prepare the individual for actual challenges in real life.
Loved this video ! So well done, and inspiring. At 42 yoa and an Army Combat Medic, I've found my second calling. Can't say enough about Loma Linda's time, effort and thought that went into this video. You guys kept God in it, and he is the great Physician. Eternal thanks!
I really enjoyed watching this video. Even though from the numerous other med school videos I've seen, it is blatantly obvious that med school is extremely rigorous and tough, I think I really do want to become a doctor. Thanks for the video and the motivation that I needed.
I watched this documentary when I was in first year medical school for motivation and now after 7 years I am medical graduate starting my residency Some memories are really deeply touching bcoz I was totally different person and actually different situation . At that I was struggling with the hardest time in my life
Im still in ninth grade however, while watching this documentary I felt like I'm already a med-student considering my emotions and thoughts were running high. I really want to be a doctor, cardiologist to be exact someday but I don't have a growth mindset that will push me to exert effort to achieve what ive dreamed of. Hoping years++ from now, I'll be seeing this comment of mine while bursting out of tears knowing that I've just achieved what I've always dreamed of!( In God's Will) To anyone who's reading this comment, I pray and hope that you'll get through of the trials you're facing right now and most esp "You'll get your white coat soon, Future Doctor" Fighting!!
"In college it was the brains that got them through, but in medical school it's the determination that gets you through." EPIC. I also love how strong everyone's faith is! AMEN!
This video was beautiful. I have been considering the medical for awhile now and with each passing day and every medical video I watch, my determination, fear and excitement grows. Hell yeah I'm scared! People tell me all kinds of things about becoming a doctor that seem negative, yet even after hearing and witnessing these things, I still feel a strong pull to medicine. If I work hard enough, I will become the first doctor in my whole family.
Hello everyone. I can't believe that 35 minutes has past. I really enjoyed the video and I was smiling all the time. It gave me huge inspiration. I'd like to thank you all of you students who were describe the feelings. Especially the married couple!
I love this!! I'm an undergrad sophomore and of all the med school videos I've seen, this one is the most REAL and helpful! The actual life of a medical student. I love it! Make more (:
Good for you! Not many people are that sure about what they want to do in life until they are at the end of their high school careers. I hope to see your name in the paper some day!
I agree with you Vivian, God through & through got me from the tragedy of a failing class (by a measly 0.04), to be told you can't into these elite hospitals with that GPA. But you know what God restores! To getting multiple job offers from prestigious hospitals, some of the nation's top 10, and that was even after being let go by my first hospital because they thought I wasn't picking up skills fast enough. To 5 years later working as a healthcare professional. Amen to all that God has done in my life. Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the LORD of Hosts (Zechariah 4:6)
This one was posted in 2011 waw... i loved every moment of this documentary, thank you for doing it, i would love to hear about all these med warriors, what are they doing now ? Ps : i don't know you personally but im so proud of the path ypu took, truly inspiring ❤
A friend of mine graduated with an engineering degree in the late 90s. Went to the military and then after he got into luxury car sales. At age 38 he decided to do his pre requisite courses and now at age 40 he has been accepted into medical school. Also he is a father of two little girls. If you truly believe that this is exactly what you want to do for the rest of your life, go for it. Don't let anything stop you.
OMG I love this Video! It's so inspiring!!!!!! This is something I can watch everyday through my college life and have a feeling of not being scared to go to a Medical School. Thanks for the upload. May God help us. :)
Dr. Mark Warren is a Psychiatrist in Idaho Dr. Lindsay Gammenthaler (Bautista) is a Pediatrician in California Dr. Jaysson Brooks is an Orthopedic Surgeon in Mississippi Dr. Britanny Brooks is a Family Medicine specialist in Mississippi Dr. Sylvester Paulasir is a General Surgeon in Michigan
This is an Excellent video....I mean I have watch sooo many and have never felt this way...Even the classroom exposure in it was soo great.. definitely a great motivator!!!!
Thank you for this video, it has given me insight as to what my resident friends have went through as well as my little sister is about to endure in short time. While becoming a doctor requires dedication, time and much sacrifice, it is apparent the students here don't regret it and we need more doctors like that.
I've been watching other vlogs on Medicines and medical school, but yours thoroughly got me and almost made me cry. I love you guys and we'll that are medical aspirants are gonna make it through. We're well able !!!!!!💕💕💕💕
this video made me cry. i want to be a doctor in pediatrics, but people convinced me to just become a nurse practitioner. i’m just so scared of failing, i think i’m not smart enough. and it takes so much time, 11+ years scares me. i’m still young and want to live life, and i don’t want to reject my children, when i have them, because of med school. i’m just so confused on what i want my future to hold, and that scares me.
I cried! I'm starting my undergraduate this September and there's nothing that I want to do but getting into Med school. Very nice video. Thanks for making it! It seems like it took a lot of effort to make it.
Before I continue with this I want to say thank you. I have been searching for medical students routines to get a feel what to expect and I just really want to be a doctor I have always wanted to be a doctor some days I say maybe not but I know I will become 1 and this this movie that you have done is going to be so helpful it wraps it up. Yea I have only seen 07:32 of this but I still thank u for this because its going to help me even though this is my 1st yr supposed to be 2nd yr of college
Thank you soooo much for this video!!! This video IS definitely inspiring! In fact, I cried and it made my stomach flutter. My future is clearer now after this video. I've been ignoring being a doctor for years now (my first dream job) but no matter what direction I go to, I always end up going back to my desire to go to med school. Looking at this video makes me feel happy instead of being discouraged. One day, I WANT to feel what you guys felt! I want to be able to say that yes I did it :)
I am engineering student. honestly I fall in love the way how med student study. you all so much discipline in study and I love it. Good job and keep going.
I love this film. Anyone have more to suggest similar to this? It definitely gave me a sense of excitement about what expectations to have after hardwork.
I'm 13 and I've always wanted to be a surgeon. This helps me stay determined. I always watch this to keep my head up, even though I'm VERY far away from medical school. I mean I'm not even in high school until next year lol.
Loans... this is part of the reason Medical School is so expensive, especially if you have a family to support. Nobody we followed had parents paying the bills. Mark, the guy with kids had 2 of them born during medical school, maybe even the oldest too, I can't remember. He is the oldest in this video as he started medical school a few years later than most the others. Jaysson & Brittany, the married couple, were married before they started medical school together.
inspiring video.. I enjoyed it very much. I am just starting the path to become a doctor and I am here questioning myself of I can do what you guys all did. it's amazing, specially the one with the family, which will be my case. God help me and gives me the strength I will need I hope.
Right now I'm finishing nursing school and definitely contemplating on going to medical school down the line. I learned about this right after I started interacting with doctors as soon as I got hired as a nurse intern. Hopefully, my drive is still there
I'm a law student and I'm watching this LOL , but this documentary is beyond amazing. May God bless these physicians and having an interaction with patients with certain diseases or pain to cure them.
I think I might apply towards Loma Linda! I think it was a great idea making a video like this. i really enjoy seeing all the medical students mentioning God. It really shows how compassionate they are as future physicians. I am a christian, and I would be great to go here if I can! (:
Every time I question what I'm working towards, I watch this and I remind myself that every bit of studying I do, pushes me closer to becoming a physician.
It's not being ungrateful, it's telling it how it is. I agree that medical school is the most amazing thing I have had the opportunity to be a part of every day, but I'm not going to lie when people ask just what the finer details are like.
I am going to be an oral surgeon , i have not even finished high school yet ( upcoming senior ) but i already know what i want and am going to be . The oral surgeon I have shadowed says in dental school some nights you get like 2 hours of sleep due to studying and you have to be able to sacrifice in order to get what u need and have to get done , so by watching this I am trying to prepare myself for what is to come .
studying medicine in Hong Kong and i can identify with so many people in the video! Glad to know were never alone :') Thank you to those who made the video and thank you God for leading every step of my way.
Wow, all if not almost all of these people must be full-time attendings now. Such an inspiration to just keep moving forward no matter how hard things are
This is the best video I have watched thus far on KZclip on med life. Everyone makes it seem like a hassle or task with no consolation and reminder why they are pursuing the field in the first place. Not to add I love how their trust is solely dependent on Christ.
Hey guys med school is not a dream. It's a lit of work. I'm now in second year and the thing you miss the most is sleeping without worrying about the next day. I know it's gonna be amazing later on, but right now it's all about learning the most you can and final exams!!!
I was so impressed with this video that the Loma Linda University School of Medicine had made such a wonderful program introducing the medical students had to go through so many challenges and experiences. However, the outcome was so sweet and worthy!
being a doctor is my dream and this video just gave me an insight on what lies ahead of me if i persue this dream........... i am now inspired and motivated even more than i was before and made me realize that i cant be complaining about the work i have in highschool cuz compared to whats ahead of me this stuff is kindergarte work THANK YOU
I remember watching this video years ago as a "pre-med"/undergraduate student. Now i'm in my last year of medical school applying to residency. Well done, hope things are still going well!
hey , congrats ! just got accepted into medical school ! 5 years lets go get that MD !
I start my first year of medical school in a couple of weeks... hopefully, I will come back here one day and smile knowing that I succeeded
I have a question, what did you do in highschool to get into med school?
Im a freshman in highschool hopefully ill come back here one day and be in med school or be a doctor
I liked what the one girl said " in college it's the brains that get you through, but in medical school it's the determination that gets you through."
@iniohos2 for a communications major, you’re absolutely right.
@The Ultimate Reductionist as a guy in grad school for applied mathematics, I completely agree. Just a constant fight to grasp the perfect mental visualization of the problem, especially in non-linear dynamics, that perspective is the most important.

@XYZXYZ UVWUVW had different interests lmao 🤣
@Yonik Malik lmao, 2 year follow up
@X oh I know its real. Go to most Urgent cares. You will be seen by a provider "NP or PA" instead of a physician.
@Gunnar Dotson that doesn’t matter this is a money move hospital want to increase profits so, therefore they are finding cheaper alternatives.
Everybody is sharing their story in the comments so I would like to start my own:

Don't know any of these people but I am extremely proud of all of them.
Same here
Every time I find myself crying into my books wondering why I took this path, I watch this video. Medical school is without a doubt the most difficult thing I've ever done and will probably ever do, and this gives me hope that it will all get better. But for now, here's to surviving anatomy...
How's graduation?
Glad to see that Anatomy is hell for the med students all around the globe. Here's to surviving anatomy...!
Update?
Did u finish med?
You are done by now!! Update please?
I'm currently in medical school; it's no joke. But like the girl said, "determination gets you through it." You have to 'want it.'
@JK EDMOND (JUNIOR MD) My pleasure
Thank you

Crazy how that Dad have 3 children AND somehow is able to do really well in medical school that he got into Mayo. Props to his dedication and time management 🙏 his children will have a good life thanks to his hard work.
I'm now a General Surgery resident. This video literally took me through med school. I probably watched it like 50 times
Nice, all that hard work to just to be replaced with a machine.
Foofighter0724 when I say I appreciate you, I really mean that!😊THANK YOU SO MUCHHH!!!👍

This shows real side of medical school, and even though sometimes I get frightened, I still want to stay in a medical field.
well?? did you make it?

It'll probably be sometime next year. I am trying to talk to the school I am going to, to see if I could take a few courses at a time that'll give me some anatomy or some science classes in general along with my required classes for my bachelors degree. I am really ready to learn more about medicine and how it all works.
when do you take pre med courses?
Laura Rea You can do it!!!!! We both will get emotional haha. What a fun exciting Journey it will be!!!! Good Luck to you too Doll!!!!!!
Chaff LS those tears are you passion and drive good luck I am also working on finishing my pre reqs. I do say I get emotional the closer I get to actually applying!!!
+Pickle you can do it!!
uhhhhh I just wanna be a family doctor :D lol

this*
I am currently 33 finishing up my third year and I can say that when I started it was a pretty daunting task.
@janellmd I resonate most with your comment,I don’t know if I’m going crazy but I want to resign in my job as a engineer to apply for medical school
We need an update!
Margie Marcum Are you in college right now?
So I look forward to the new challenge that will come.
a very inspiring medical school documentary , to all other medical students reading this , we're in this together ! lets grind this !
This is so motivating to anyone who wants to pursue a career in medicine or any medical-related career! I never once got bored watching this.
I graduated from Loma Linda SOM. The best school ever. Spiritual emphasis. International missions. Great professors - mentors - role models.
Thank you.
This was the best video I have found this far that truly represents a glimpse of how medical school will be. This was amazing.
I love how spiritual guided and grounded they are.
This is such a inspiring video for people at any age who want to pursue further education. HELPFUL
I love her faith , whether you believe in absolutely anything I think it's a great quality of hers to find something beyond herself to keep her going, whatever you need , you find it & you fucking do it for that reason. you never quit, you push yourself , fuss & cry , but you pull the fuck through . Because you believe in life & a purpose & a reason for your being. I love that. Sometimes I think mentally ill break , but if I look for something beyond myself idk it just calms me or something . thanks for the upload - future Dr. (;
kylyesenia I agree the same 😍
I have watched a few med students go thru school at different places and I must say it's not only tons of brain work but it takes lots and lots of physical endurance.
Did you end up switching majors?
I'm in a premed club where doctors come in and present. They all have multiple backgrounds of their education. Majority of the doctors say, "You don't have to be smart, I sure as hell wasn't..." In a funny, yet serious way. I'm sure you are smart. You just have to have the desire, the passion, the commitment, to choose this specialty, especially.
Watched this as a premed then medical student and now as a senior resident. Have managed to cross paths with one of the students shown in this video. It's truly a blessing to have come this far.
This video actually made me cry. So inspiring, especially since I believe in God.
Hi mary
Thanks for the video and the motivation that I needed.
should be more of these this one was amazingly good.
Kappa Kappa
I watched this documentary when I was in first year medical school for motivation and now after 7 years I am medical graduate starting my residency
Some memories are really deeply touching bcoz I was totally different person and actually different situation .
AMEN!
I really respect Loma Linda University, and have huge respect for the students! If I were going to be a doctor, that is where I would want to go!
Omg I cried when the med student delivered her first baby 😭😍 you go girl
Hello everyone. I can't believe that 35 minutes has past. I really enjoyed the video and I was smiling all the time. It gave me huge inspiration. I'd like to thank you all of you students who were describe the feelings. Especially the married couple!
I love this!! I'm an undergrad sophomore and of all the med school videos I've seen, this one is the most REAL and helpful! The actual life of a medical student. I love it! Make more (:
so inspiring, lets you know exactly what opportunities medical school can give you. my life is dedicated to medicine
cried through last half. Its beautiful to see the students determination and faith in God. God bless.
Good for you! Not many people are that sure about what they want to do in life until they are at the end of their high school careers. I hope to see your name in the paper some day!
I really appreciate how all these people know that it’s God who has brought them this far. They deserve it ☺️
I agree with you Vivian, God through & through got me from the tragedy of a failing class (by a measly 0.04), to be told you can't into these elite hospitals with that GPA.
Wasn't it their determination?
Proud and admiration for these students! ❣️ All the stress, tears, sweat and hard work they are putting!
This is inspiring. I can feel that experiences they are going through. I hope I can make it as a doctor.
Dr. Mark Warren is a Psychiatrist in Idaho
Dr. Lindsay Gammenthaler (Bautista) is a Pediatrician in California
Dr. Jaysson Brooks is an Orthopedic Surgeon in Mississippi
Dr. Britanny Brooks is a Family Medicine specialist in Mississippi
Dr. Sylvester Paulasir is a General Surgeon in Michigan
Dr. Laura Joreteg (Hanson) is a Family Medicine physician in Washington
Thank you for making such a detailed documentary about the different years of medical school. It gave me a lot of insight.
I want to be able to say that yes I did it :)
did you do it????
Tim de la Torre Are both Brittany and Jaysson practicing medicine today? This is beautiful
inspiring video..
This video only motivates me to work harder during my undergrad years. Truly an eye opener and inspirational.
You guys are awesome! I bless you all in Jesus Name, so inspiring! May you excel in all your subspecialties!
Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. I can see now what could be the reality in medical school after my preparatory course in college.
Such an inspiration to just keep moving forward no matter how hard things are
This made me emotional. I can already imagine the feelings I’d obtain once reaching their level.
I really love The humbleness and the dependency from God to do well in what they have put their heart to do🙌🙌🙌
Going through the application process right now, and this video has really helped remind me what I am doing all of this for. Thanks very much. =]
Every time I watch this video I feel even more motivated to attend medical school. I definitely will apply here :D
Danae Ruff Yeey for med school! :D
I was so impressed with this video that the Loma Linda University School of Medicine had made such a wonderful program introducing the medical students had to go through so many challenges and experiences. However, the outcome was so sweet and worthy!
I really do see a transition and a person's personality between second and fourth year. The transformation to become a doctor is amazing.
being a doctor is my dream and this video just gave me an insight on what lies ahead of me if i persue this dream........... i am now inspired and motivated even more than i was before and made me realize that i cant be complaining about the work i have in highschool cuz compared to whats ahead of me this stuff is kindergarte work THANK YOU
