Oh wow, as a mom who recently lost my mom, that touched me on levels. You make me want to make that kind of memory with my daughter. To do something interesting and brave. I love your relationship. My mom was my friend too.
I am really starting to get a sense of the decor that the cottage is going to have and that is such a testament to the clarity of MaCenna's vision. She knows what she wants which is such a great energy to put into the world.
I don't think I can never get enough of watching your thrift shop treasure shopping videos...such wonderful shopping buddies you have!! your mom is the sweetest and Romeo is a keeper!
I have a huge collection of Longaberger baskets. Over 50! And as pricey as they were / are, I made sure I bought baskets I would use on a regular basis. None of that just sitting around looking pretty. I wanted them to be useful so that I could justify spending the money. My first basket was a gift and is dated 1984. I also have their pottery. Longaberger originated here in Ohio and closed a few years back. You should check online and see the building for their headquarters that is shaped like a big basket. A development company bought it to make a hotel out of and then changed their minds. I do not know right now what the plans are for it but it's gorgeous.
I’m in Melbourne Australia and we are back in lockdown again, would love to go to that market. Miss shopping for loved pieces. Gasping thru out the entire video.
Had so much fun watching this video. Your Mom is so cute…. almost fell off the chair when she said, “ it’s gonna take us 12 days to get home.” Stay well. 🙏🏻💜
The two pots without drainage holes are perfect for indoor plants to the water doesn't mar the surface of what it sits on. You can set a plant still in the nursery pot into those pots
The sink and mirror combo is super cute!. Also the deviled egg serving plate is adorable. 😍 Can't wait for Christmas. Thanks for the video it was super fun!
I'm sure this video is going to be great as always! I must say, you have got me looking at vintage picture frames young lady! They are SO MUCH classier!♥️
Your exuberance and energy towards the end when you were showing all of the neat stuff you found: so infectious! I was so excited for you. Thanks for the shopping trip!!!
This was so fun to watch as First Monday is only a couple towns over from me! So happy to see you got some good finds. Can’t wait for the completion of the cottage! 🥰
Videos like these make me so happy! There are no thrift stores where I live but I'm always rooting for McKenna when she goes hunting for her little treasures! Such a good video!
At the end of the haul “is that all?” After talking about a bunch of amazing finds lol love that! Watching your videos has definitely opened up my interior styles and ideas x
Girl, if you love digging through junk you HAVE to go to JTs This and That in Wharton. SO MUCH STUFF. And you literally have to dig around to find stuff. He also is super freaking reasonable with his pricing and will give you great deals when you buy more. Love that place so much!
I’ve been obsessed with thrifting for years, so it’s so fun to watch your treasure hunting! There are a bunch of fun thrift stores in my area (northern Virginia). One store in particular always has great glassware and whenever I go I think about how much you would love it.
@Alyssa Taylor The Savers in Manassas is also really good for clothes (it's HUGE) and I find the best home goods at the thrift stores in Fredrick, MD, which is only about 1.5 hours away.
Thank you for taking me shopping with you! Thrifting and antiquing or treasure hunting is what I like to call it, which is one of the most fun things I love to do. And I have been doing it for years and never get tired of it. It is such an adventure. You never know what you will find. I have gotten lucky with many of my finds. It was fun watching you and your mom and Romeo shop together. I shared your excitement when you find something that you love. Some days, I can't walk for long because of sciatica. So it's fun to watch from the comfort of my bed when I'm resting. Watching you and Drew (lonefox) going shopping has given me the drive back to go out myself again to thrift stores. I have depression quite bad that I suffer moment by moment with. It's not easy to say. But true. I just want you to know how this has helped me. Also, I am a do it all around the house kind of person like you. I built a pantry under our stairs in my house years ago. And I paint like your mom does. But not as much as you all do full time. Love it!
You can get a ceramic drill bit for those jug/pots! Literally my favorite hack for putting plants in things where there shouldn't be plants. LOL! Also theres a few amazing antique vintage stores in Morro Bay, CA that you would love. When I went I kept thinking of you!
My best friend and I took a road trip there about seven weeks ago as a fun splurge before I started treatment for breast cancer. We stayed at a cottage near there and had a wonderful time. I think we had even more fun garage saling and Goodwilling our way home. Lol
I am at the point of my life where I am planning a minimalist life, then your video was recommended and I realized it is decor haul/ shopping therapy that I need in my life..with my mom of course!😅
I went through a similar phase a few years ago when we decorated our first house. We travelled in a camper (with our cat!) all over western Canada and up to the Yukon and Alaska checking out antique and thrift stores. I love how every piece has a story/memory on how we got it. Your videos bring me back to those days!
Longaberger Baskets are pretty pricey so that was definitely a find! I would have snatched up the milky green porcelain items in a heartbeat! Love these types of videos! Now we must see what your Mom got! 💜
If I could have anyone a friend it would be you, you radiate amazing energy and everything you do is so exciting, I look forward to every video and post you upload and I’m enjoying following you both on your journey with your new home, I can’t wait to see how amazing it’s going to look. ❤️
FABULOUS flea market haul, LOVE the picture frame mirrors, coffee grinder, oil lantern and vintage basket! Send that rain over to Arizona and the west coast! 💕
I loved watching this! My family home is soon to be sold and the clearance people came to take all the family things that were left and will probably end up in sales like this. I live in another country so could not get to take the furniture that my parents had as a newly weds and that were in my room and as I watched you going through all the stuff, I got very sad and realised that these items were also loved and treasured once so I wish they wouldn't call it junk! I am so happy that you and others that love vintage items and give these items a new home and love them as they were once loved! I have subscribed!
That basket is a Longanberger basket. Those used to be sold at house parties ( like Tupperware was) and they were sooooo expensive. That might still be valuable!🥰🥰
The sink was an awesome find! I actually paused the video to have a closer look, it really is almost exactly as the one in the shop you had a look at! Goes to show that it's a good thing to look at higher-end stores to know what you want and then try and find it on the cheap. Try ans use a magic eraser on the black marks if you haven't already!
Girl!!! That Longaberger basket is worth a fortune! That was your best score!! Handmade, numbered. I won a basket in a draw that is 14x10x8 and new it's worth about $200!!
The longaberger basket was incredible! Those are really good baskets and they’re expensive. You got a great haul - so much old elegance at such a great price.
Love your coffee grinder! $40 is a good price. I usually see them for $30-$50 depending on the condition. Can't believe she told you that they sell for $100 online. Always enjoy seeing your thrift/antique finds!
I was gonna be mad if you didn't take that sink home with you. This is the best antique/vintage haul I've ever seen! You have a great eye for frames, mirrors, wooden legs, ceramics. And if I'd known I could get $40 for my vintage coffee grinder, I'd have been happy to sell it for that amount. I learn something new everyday. Congrats on your fab finds!
What a fun birthday weekend! Happy belated birthday MaCeena! I hope this is a precious year for you. Love your laugh. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. 💕
When you were talking about the wood/brass candle holders saying sometimes you just need a narrow item for a slender wall….. literally picked up an EXACT duplicate of those yesterday and hung it on a slender wall in our dining room!! 🤣 Everything you found was AMAZING- love your vision so much!! 🤍
this is so fun to watch and experience with you! I'd love to see a video about how you clean all those items, I'm so afraid of ruining anything that I try and thrift
Yay. You got the sink. I would have had to have that white glass cabinet with wood interior too!! Beautiful quilt display cabinet or in a bathroom. Love everything!
for fixing all the details on the frames, you should try using something to make a mold of the existing decorative molding and fill it with bondo and then attach that to the frames. I have seen a ton of DIYers do this, but I would be so interested in a video tutorial!!
How MaCenna's mom touched her heart at around 0:40. I thought that was sweet. You can tell that was a nice memory for her.
Oh wow, as a mom who recently lost my mom, that touched me on levels. You make me want to make that kind of memory with my daughter. To do something interesting and brave. I love your relationship. My mom was my friend too.
I loved that too! So sweet
I saw that too. That was an “aww” moment.
They’re sweet.
So sweet!!
I wouldn’t say you “love junk”…I would say you’re a “treasure hunter”🥰
That totally sounds better hahaha 🤣
Such a mood when MaCenna asked her mom to ask the shop owner how much something is
Hahaha 🥰
😂
I am really starting to get a sense of the decor that the cottage is going to have and that is such a testament to the clarity of MaCenna's vision. She knows what she wants which is such a great energy to put into the world.
Glad that Romeo loves going shopping with you, too!
@XO, MaCenna clone him
Omgggg 100% he’s so patient and looks around for his own stuff and pushes my cart! He’s literally the best!!
I would kill to have my hubs like thrifting lol he goes if he has to 😂
I’ve been waiting for this haul since your last video! Honestly, I could watch 2 straight hours of you and your mom going around that flea market ❤️
Yay!! Omg thank you 😘😘😘
I don't think I can never get enough of watching your thrift shop treasure shopping videos...such wonderful shopping buddies you have!! your mom is the sweetest and Romeo is a keeper!
So much respect to the vendors at markets. They spend HOURS packing, driving & staging they’re stalls. Like wowowow amazing!
You got a Longaberger basket for FREE? That's amazing! Those can be quite expensive, especially for circa 1987. 🤩 Great find!!
Yes, I just said the same thing. Amazing that someone didn’t realize the value of that basket!
Thought the same thing
I have a huge collection of Longaberger baskets. Over 50! And as pricey as they were / are, I made sure I bought baskets I would use on a regular basis. I was thinking the same thing! Like so shocked she got that for free!
I love how Romeo always seems to be a man on a mission in these videos. He's not just there to push the cart - he's huntin' for deals!
Disneyland can just get over itself. This is the happiest place on Earth!
I’m in Melbourne Australia and we are back in lockdown again, would love to go to that market. Miss shopping for loved pieces. Gasping thru out the entire video.
And there is less overpriced junk.
YES! YES!
Had so much fun watching this video. Your Mom is so cute…. almost fell off the chair when she said, “ it’s gonna take us 12 days to get home.” Stay well. 🙏🏻💜
I love it how involved your parents are in your projects! They obviously did a good job raising you ;)
The mirror missing some molding: you can make a mold from the existing molding and then make replacement molding. Glue it on and paint to match.
You can turn it upside down and add a crown piece similar to ornaments or sth cast iron. It could look intentional. But please don't paint it.
Yes, definitely!
Jamierayvintage does that -- has how tos on her you tube
Yep! My thought, too.
Wow, never thought of that! That's a great idea!
Also I audibly gasped out loud when I heard that sink was only $20. Especially after watching your sink journey haha 😂
Did you try an sos pad I know if you have those marks on a white enamel kitchen sink it takes it out. Not sure about porcelain but maybe.
I wouldn't have even minded a few scuffs on the sink at that price!
😍😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩🤩👍👍👍
Try Mr Clean magic eraser on the black marks
same lol
The two pots without drainage holes are perfect for indoor plants to the water doesn't mar the surface of what it sits on. You can set a plant still in the nursery pot into those pots
Put dollar tree rocks or rocks from outside in the bottom for drainage.
I would NEVER drill holes in the bottom of a vintage crock! 😳😭
Second the nursery pot suggestion! I’ve been known to go to Home Depot with ceramic cover pots to find the right nursery pot that fits 😂😂
Que casa mais gostosa me dá vontade de pegar uma xícara de café me jogar no sofá e ficar eu com meus pensamentos ❣️🇧🇷
I would've loved to have seen what your mom bought.
I can’t wait to see ir either maybe your next video can be of that ???
These videos are sooo calming! Like window shopping minus the driving around and social anxiety 😂
I can totally see you and your mom owning a physical or online vintage/antique store!
Am I the only one who wished that she would have gotten the white bookcase.
Me too! I want it so bad! Loved it!
Been looking for one for cookie jars & tea pots in my house
Loved that bookcase@
Me too! But for sure she'll create somethin like it for sure. It might not fit in their car, too, i guess 😅
Your exuberance and energy towards the end when you were showing all of the neat stuff you found: so infectious! I was so excited for you. Thanks for the shopping trip!!!
My dad has a coffee grinder like that and he uses it every day. The scrii-scrii sound is part of my childhood. :D
I honestly can’t wait to see alllll these things come together in the cottage 😭 I’m so excited !!
This was so fun to watch as First Monday is only a couple towns over from me! So happy to see you got some good finds. Can’t wait for the completion of the cottage! 🥰
I need to see your mom’s haul!!
I have the Christmas bells from 1989 to 2000. When were you born?
Omg yesss
Was just going to comment this!
Yes, please!!
Now that's a great idea!
Videos like these make me so happy! There are no thrift stores where I live but I'm always rooting for McKenna when she goes hunting for her little treasures! Such a good video!
At the end of the haul “is that all?”
After talking about a bunch of amazing finds lol love that!
Watching your videos has definitely opened up my interior styles and ideas x
Really want to appreciate Romeo’s cameos in all your videos! He’s so patient, encouraging of all your excitement but still gives his opinions.

@Mandy I’ll have to check those out!
@Sarah Lindsay northern VA is great! I moved here last year and I love it.
@Alyssa Taylor Thanks!
So excited to see how you display all your finds in your new cottage.
You're so effortlessly true to your style when you see stuff out in the wild. I can never make decisions. I always think "What would MaCenna do??"
I’m loving the quality and quantity of today’s post. :D
Thank you for sharing your adventures with us!
Imagining how the cottage is going to come together when I see these hauls literally takes my breath away! I can’t wait to see it!! 😍

I love “junk” stores too! That’s where the real treasures seem to be found 🤗

I think it's so cute how excited you always are when you go to flea markets 🤭🤭
Adding this as a potential girls trip in my future 😅 Is driving across the country for a flea market a little crazy? I don't even care 👏😍
My best friend and I took a road trip there about seven weeks ago as a fun splurge before I started treatment for breast cancer. We stayed at a cottage near there and had a wonderful time. I think we had even more fun garage saling and Goodwilling our way home. Lol
Not crazy AT ALL!!! So fun!!!
I was thinking the same!!
This was one of the most waited videos for me. So excited to go shopping with you Macenna.
Omg yay!!! Hope you enjoyed it!!!! 🥰
The basket bag is so gorgeous 😭 you could definitely drill holes into the pots or put a plant in the plastic pot inside of it. Such good finds!
That must have been so much fun, thanks for taking us with you!
I am at the point of my life where I am planning a minimalist life, then your video was recommended and I realized it is decor haul/ shopping therapy that I need in my life..with my mom of course!😅

Forgot to mention the huge annual flea market in Portland...Maybe a road trip for you guys anther time!
Longaberger Baskets are pretty pricey so that was definitely a find! I would have snatched up the milky green porcelain items in a heartbeat! Love these types of videos! Now we must see what your Mom got! 💜
Can't wait to see you style all of these! The porcelain sink is a great find.
This is such a fantastic video! Your excitement and having fun with your mom made my heart happy. Though I'm super jealous of your excursion!
I love that there's a Now, Voyager hardback in your first set of books! The film adaptation with Bette Davis is so good.
I am so happy for you!!! You found things you have been wanting for your house. So many cute things!!!

I enjoy following you guys on your thrifting adventures! You have so much fun. Thank you for taking us along. xx
Loved this haul!! I like it when people get this excited over shopping for vintage and antiques.
That basket is a Longanberger basket. Those used to be sold at house parties ( like Tupperware was) and they were sooooo expensive. That might still be valuable!🥰🥰
Good finds!! The sink, the black picture frame, the ornate drinking glasses, the coffee grinder and the fancy door lock pieces are outstanding
When I spend 400 dollars I end up with like 10 things 😂 this is amazing!
I love how excited you get. So cute! I wish we had the amazing markets in England that you guys have in America. I would love it so so much.
I have 8 of those glass textured cups that I found at the thrift store! I LOVE them! 😍😍
What a wonderful haul! The sink and that lamp are my faves of your finds! 💕 Thank you so much for another thrift haul and adventure!!
The sink was an awesome find! I actually paused the video to have a closer look, it really is almost exactly as the one in the shop you had a look at! I really enjoyed all your antique shopping hauls, and dying to see how you will assemble them and decorate your home. 💜🌹
Girl!!! That Longaberger basket is worth a fortune! That was your best score!! Handmade, numbered. I won a basket in a draw that is 14x10x8 and new it's worth about $200!!
I want to stay at one of the cottages when you are all done! Can’t wait to see the finished product! ❤️
The longaberger basket was incredible! Those are really good baskets and they’re expensive. You got a great haul - so much old elegance at such a great price.
So excited for this one! Loving the thrift vlogs
This was such an amazing thrift haul and video!! 😍😍😍
Love your coffee grinder! $40 is a good price. I usually see them for $30-$50 depending on the condition. Can't believe she told you that they sell for $100 online. Always enjoy seeing your thrift/antique finds!
I can't wait to see these items all put together in your home.

What a fun birthday weekend! Happy belated birthday MaCeena! I hope this is a precious year for you. Love your laugh. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. 💕
Ugh her mom's hand on her chest when she talks about going here as a lil girl 😍 so cute. I hope my daughter says stuff like that about us 😭
Was always attracted to minimalist scandi design. Suddenly now I like only ornate antique things. Love the haul!
Love your haul! Fill the clay pots with rocks for drainage…I love those!💕
I love that bird print! I would totally keep it!!
Me too!!
So many great treasures! I loved the lamps and that sink! I don’t mind imperfections if you can get it at a great price and then it has character. 🥰
When you were talking about the wood/brass candle holders saying sometimes you just need a narrow item for a slender wall….. literally picked up an EXACT duplicate of those yesterday and hung it on a slender wall in our dining room!! 🤣
Everything you found was AMAZING- love your vision so much!! 🤍
Love, love love shopping with you!! I am obsessed with ornate frames too and your little Kinsley. She is so adorable!
OMG! All your finds!! I LOVED IT!!
Loved EVERY ITEM! Great haul.
this is so fun to watch and experience with you! I'd love to see a video about how you clean all those items, I'm so afraid of ruining anything that I try and thrift
OMG are you going to do vintage Christmas decor at the cottage?!? If so, I cannot wait!!!
This video was such a joy to watch! Perfect content from you darling! ♥️
Georgia needs to take a page from the TX playbook and get some good & good priced antique/variety stores.
Yay. You got the sink. I would have had to have that white glass cabinet with wood interior too!! Beautiful quilt display cabinet or in a bathroom. Love everything!
I loved when you said “I just love junk” I was like me too Macenna!!
for fixing all the details on the frames, you should try using something to make a mold of the existing decorative molding and fill it with bondo and then attach that to the frames. I have seen a ton of DIYers do this, but I would be so interested in a video tutorial!!
That sink is such an amazing find 😍 when you added the side by side of the one in Bath store I couldn't believe how close a match it is x
I can't wait to see you using all those treasures on your cottage!! 👏👏👏❤
We don’t look through junk, we treasure hunt! 😄
Obsessed with the striped gray bunny at 8:23. Would LOVE that for my daughter's nursery
Unbelievable finds!! Just to be safe, please be sure to lead test the door key plates for lead paint. They look super old, and are beautiful!! xo
Awesome haul!! LOVE that lamp, oil lantern, and frame with the olive velvet 😍
I can't wait for Christmas at the cottage now too! Great haul!
