I work in rural Alaska and have a friend who works in Kodiak- the Pitbull concert is still talked about and a big deal, and many of the families in town have pictures with him up on their walls. It's not as "rural Alaska" as most would think- I mean, I look at them as a metropolis for having a Walmart- but it's definitely the kid of place where a Pitbull visit would be the talk of the town for years and years.
Non else dare to beat the internet. They either become the internet, fuck around the internet, or have their skull crushed under its heavy tracks. The only ones i could really think of is our Mr Worldwide here and maybe weird Al
I was staying at the same hotel as Pitbull once when he was playing a concert. I was going to try to sneak into their afterparty but decided against it. Ran into him in the lobby though, seems friendly.
@zero I saw someone doing this for lyrics and all that at Ozzfest when I was pretty young and was so confused, but it was really cool at the same time. It looked like they were having fun too. Later in life I understand a lot more about it but so many people don't know this is a thing at all still. It's pretty fascinating tbh
Pitbull was the only celebrity to ever figure out that the best way to deal with and overcome "the hacker named 4chan" is to play along, humor them a little and not allow yourself to get fucking triggered. Perhaps he's more deserving of his ironic following than I thought.
He forgot about that one time when the couple let the internet vote in a poll on whether they should abort their child or not and 4chan couldn't decide which decision was better: Aborting or letting the child grow up and know that it's parents let it be decided on by the internet
@Steven Schnepp they're not even called or counted as abortions if they're medically necessary. That's a separate procedure never covered by the same laws. Any assertion to the contrary is trying to manipulate you.
Don’t exactly know if 4chan could exactly be given a place on a political chart since all degenerates come from wherever. But I do see where you come from on this and I’ll respect your opinion on it
I love the mindfuck he went into about how "Kodak" translated to "Kodiak", rather than just showing how simply obvious the word "Kodak" sounds similar to "Kodiak".
@Ugly Bastard (INACTIVE) I don't really know what you mean by that, comparing to other celebs she seems to be an alright person and no where near "horrible"😅
Taylor should've gone to the school for the deaf and just pumped the bass/volume so they could *feel* the music. Also deafness is relative, so some could be able to kinda hear. edit: the replies have suggested using balloons to feel the music & similar stuff maybe somebody at the school was a fan then went 100% deaf; bet they'd still like to *see* a concert.
@Ghost In what way would doing this have taken humility? It's not like she didn't come because she viewed the students there as beneath her, there was just no logical reason to go, a visit like this takes a lot of planning and it would've all been wasted were she to go to a school for the deaf.
That just seems like it would've been seen as a forced attempt at garnering media attention which nobody would've really enjoyed. Maybe except for the staff, but you can't have a concert for 10% of the school while the other 90% just has their time wasted.
New Zealand was gonna change its flag a while ago and they had a website where people could share and upvote their new designs. One of the popular ones was called "laser kiwi". It obviously didn't get put as an option for the referendum but it was famous enough to become a New Zealand meme.
The New Zealand subreddit had a laser kiwi for awhile on the r/place canvas this year. Some streamer had a trolled a different community art piece next to the NZ piece by covering it over with a gross Pepe meme, so r/NewZealand extended the kiwi's lasers to fry Pepe's balls
Pitbull looked sincerely touched when he received the key to the city of Kodiak; he literally stumbled back a step. You could see how much it meant to everyone in Alaska, who are so remote that no big shows every play out there. Seriously great outcome all around. Good on Pitbull and company. If you haven't seen the 3 minute video of the event highlights, you should check it out.
reminds me of the time a hard rock / heavy metal radio station in my country did a countdown of the 1000 most popular metal songs of all time. 1000 songs, weeks of anticipation. a bunch of heavy metal fans sat through 1000 songs to hear what the greatest metal song of all time was, and the #1 song was announced.... Kiss, by Prince. They went apeshit. The radio DJs had to formally apologize. They had no idea the online poll had been manipulated until the last minute. And this was in the days before bots, btw. Someone very determined had to sit there and manually vote for Kiss by Prince, hundreds of thousands of times, to beat out 1000 other songs and piss off a bunch of metalheads. It was glorious. I was ten at the time, and it was at that tender age I learned the fine art of trolling.
Agreed. Quite shameful actions of these journalists. He did listen to her music because of the "don't judge a book by its cover" kinda thing the music has going for it, but they judged him by his cover. Don't think the cutout is bad either: Just some dude trying to have a bit of fun in his life.
As someone who's a sign language enthusiast, I imagine how incredible id would be if Taylor had just accepted the pool's result and hired ASL interpreters for her show. Deaf people might not hear the lyrics, but they can feel the music's vibrations and have just as much fun with it.
@Technicolor Mischief-Maker I got one for my brother as a Christmas present for shits and giggles. xD Besides that though, the pillow is great and I have pondered getting one myself. Don't think it should be anything people should be shamed for. Nothing toxic about having some pillow with a fan print on it. Heck, reminds me of Toy Story and the Buzz Lightyear blanket. No one has a problem with those products. Sure, it is different and more aimed at an adult audience, but it is basically the same thing. Just thinking people should be allowed to have fun. No one gets hurt by a pillow. ^^
When the University of North Dakota ditched "fighting sioux" for "fighting hawks" they had a mascot naming contest. Mike lead most of it before being removed. Mike hawk
I live in Alaska, I remember him going to Kodiak was a big deal even though we get big artists at our state fair all the time but for one to go to a remote place like Kodiak was pretty cool of him
For the Taylor Swift and school poll, honestly that deaf school won. They got a shiton of money and didn’t have to worry about Taylor’s security costs, accommodations, etc.
This video reminded me of a poll made to give a name to a new bridge built in Bari, South Italy They trashed the result, but in our hearts its true name will always be "Harambe bridge"
@sbp 421 In Arabic, "Haram" means forbidden (as opposed to "Halal" which means permitted), so "Harambridge" would be a hybrid word that means forbidden bridge. That sounds pretty cool to me but I can see the potential issues, hah.
@marcis arn That’s because a lot of characters from Jojo are deliberate references to Western musicians and songs; there’s even a villain whose powers are all references to Queen songs (with the guy himself looking like an ersatz David Bowie).
2019 Bonus: Gun Manufacturer Hi-Point held a poll to name their next pistol and "Yeet Cannon" won by a long shot. Hi-Point refused to name it that, which resulted in a ton of memes and protesting and even other gun companies throwing shade at them. They caved and you can buy a "Yeet Cannon" now.
They trashed the original poll where yeet cannon was over double 2nd place. There was so much backlash from the gun community they eventually held another poll with yc9 vs one other name and the 2nd name got like 50 votes total lmao.
@Jason Ultimate comments like this breathe new life into me. Your worst nightmare is a 10 second shitpost I make a hundred times a day and forget a thousand times more
I remember that first Justin Bieber poll when I was a kid, I laughed so hard when the news broadcast the girls of my country wanting Bieber so much. Then a few months later when I asked my mom about the poll and she said it was cancelled, I laugh even more.
The absolute pinnacle of comedy for me is just that one dude being used as marketing team in these videos, idk how or why but it absolutely makes my day
When my jr high school opened they did a poll to decide the name of the school and the highest voted was Obi Wan Jr. High school. Needless to say they named it something lackluster
This happened recently but it's another example of this. The gun company hi-point was making a new gun and wanted the customers to name it, so they did an online poll. The winning name was Yeet Cannon, it absolutely stomped all the other name options. The company restarted the poll with set name options in order to get a more professional name. People were angry, so other firearm companies picked up on it and told the public that they were going to name something of theirs yeet cannon eventually hi-point decided that it was better to let the people have their Yeet Cannon and let the gun have that name.
Around 2012/2013 Ariana Grande had a poll going online to have her perform at a school in Southern California. When my school won she actually wrote a tweet saying that she didn't want to go to our "ghetto" school. She took it down soon after tweeting it but a large amount of students from my school saw it before it was gone.
I believe this because ariana wasn't big at all back then, it would have been back in her nickelodeon days and she would have only been barely known for appearing on Victorious (where she wasn't even the main character). If she'd done this barely anyone would have noticed.
@Nathan Jimenez yeah i figured it was schurr. According to a female student that i met Ariana was apparently rude to a certain male teacher/staff member who's actually really loved and respected in the school.
Just found this channel. Holy F these videos are well made. The narrator voice couldn't be more perfect. And I cant imagine how long it takes to compile and edit the clips.
i recently moved to alaska and yes, pitbull’s visit is still takes about. multiple of my friends families flew to kodiak for the show by far the best thing that’s ever happened to alaska
that would inflict heavier PR Damage because on top of evading responsibility, it shows that the organizer has abolished all of it's integrity by choosing the second/third place winner instead of the first place winner in the first place (pun unintended).
It's now confirmed that the poll had no influence on Smash 4 and was kind of misleading in how it was presented, but it was used for Smash Ultimate. The top two winners were Sora and Banjo, and other high-placing characters included Ridley, K. Rool, Isabelle, and more who debuted in Ultimate.
i'm an alaskan and i'm very impressed and surprised that he actually came to our state. because we have such a low population and not a lot of huge stadiums for concerts, very few famous musicians choose to tour up here.
Something similar happened in Brazil a few years ago with Anitta. They made a poll to decide in which state she would make a special concert and the trolls decided she was going to Acre which is the most mocked (and very small) state of the country. The competition was based on how many Tweets each state could get and of course, Acre was winning. So Anitta's team decided to strike back and they created bots to create fake tweets and make Rio win the poll lol
We had one in our country as well, when a company decided to have people vote on whether they wanted chocolate cereal or leek flavored cereal. A bunch of guys decided to vote for the leek and it was cancelled untill a few weeks ago when they actually released it
The same happened in France a couple months ago. A juice brand made an online contest where the city in France with the most votes would get a giant bottle with its name printed on it. French's version of 4chan made "Issou" town win in the name of a meme. I love the internet and people that never learn
Just before you finished with the Pitbull one I thought to myself "What if they actually followed through with it?" And then he did. Nice. Kinda wish more would do that.
Ruin the fun??? Nah they made it better Like remember the he will not divide us bs 4 chan was the lighter that lit that clusterfuck And they also helped save animals and bring animal abusers to justice
Both walmart and pitbull really needed the good PR with walmart being the trailer trash Target and Pitbull....rhyming Kodak with fucking Kodak and just in general being kind of a transparent shill.
2:49 the rollercoaster we went through to get to the same result if we would have just went with it being related to Kodiak Alaska . Its so great . Dont ever sleep on this joke
That must have kicked ass for the people of Kodiak, can't imagine they get many concerts out there. This is actually an accidental wholesome moment from /b/
I never understood why they cancelled these polls from the trolling instead of just declaring the 2nd place as the winner because it’s the first “real” participant
Because rules. Any poll, contest and such are based on rules that you write for it. Usually there are no rules like: "if we don't like the first voted we go for the second", there must be specific terms etc. to block exploiters, otherwise...4chan.
Props to Pitbull for actually going.
@Brovid-19 I can think his music sucks AND think he stil seems like a cool guy.
yeah but his music sucks tho
Pitbull kicked 4chan's ass. Legend.
Why is everyone surprised he went :’) I didn’t kno it was so hard to come here
He isnt mr Worlwide for nothing.
The fact that Pitbull was the only one who emerged victorious out of every other attempt is nothing short of poetic
Mr 305 is the goat
I will always have respect for mr worldwide
Pitbull defeated 4chan
anyone know what part of 4chan has these polls lol
That first one where he went to Alaska was awesome, I would imagine that might have been the first big name to ever play there lmao
@Dirty Just FYI, when we stop sending food to the cities you should probably be armed. You also need to stay where you are.
The only place more rural would be Dillingham
I wanna visit Kodiak Alaska :O
Pitbull, to date, is the only celeb who has defeated the internet.
Insane clown posse definitely did although calling them celebrities is probably a stretch.
It was a draw.
How dare you not mention our Lord and Savior Jesus Christine Weston Chandler sonichu bundichu Emmanuel you won't make it through the merge
Non else dare to beat the internet.
They either become the internet, fuck around the internet, or have their skull crushed under its heavy tracks.
The only ones i could really think of is our Mr Worldwide here and maybe weird Al
Props to Pitbull for pulling a Chad move that impressed the Internet for his dedication to fan satisfaction and wholesomeness.
I was staying at the same hotel as Pitbull once when he was playing a concert. I was going to try to sneak into their afterparty but decided against it. Ran into him in the lobby though, seems friendly.
He is mr worldwide
@zero I saw someone doing this for lyrics and all that at Ozzfest when I was pretty young and was so confused, but it was really cool at the same time. It looked like they were having fun too. Later in life I understand a lot more about it but so many people don't know this is a thing at all still. It's pretty fascinating tbh
@-- And put some more effort in the choreography. That was such a waste.
@zero baselet take
Let's be real here, the only reason the Marketing Team has that one point is because Mr. Worldwide is a pretty _chill_ guy.
Thanks alot my family is now all dead from laughing so hard 😢
Pitbull was the only celebrity to ever figure out that the best way to deal with and overcome "the hacker named 4chan" is to play along, humor them a little and not allow yourself to get fucking triggered.
Perhaps he's more deserving of his ironic following than I thought.
Mr. Worldwide
@Ian Paylor Do you mean North Korea? Cause S. Korea is actually one of the most peaceful countries out there.
Probably put a list of every country in the world, forgetting to take out war torn ones like Syria, or the ugly ones like Best Korea.
as a comment for the North Korea thing, it was the poll creators' fault. Why even add the option to start with? that's stupid.
He forgot about that one time when the couple let the internet vote in a poll on whether they should abort their child or not and 4chan couldn't decide which decision was better: Aborting or letting the child grow up and know that it's parents let it be decided on by the internet
@Grateful Guy could you elaborate about this?
@techy804 tried to _force_ his son
hah
@Steven Schnepp they're not even called or counted as abortions if they're medically necessary. That's a separate procedure never covered by the same laws. Any assertion to the contrary is trying to manipulate you.
Maybe he didn't forget; maybe he just chose not to put in the video.
Don’t exactly know if 4chan could exactly be given a place on a political chart since all degenerates come from wherever. But I do see where you come from on this and I’ll respect your opinion on it

aurora borealis
@Alyssa Richardson in this part of the country?
@Anareel at this time of day...
@D. K. That is a comment appreciating the joke. What about it?
@Emma Avery it was probably for both reasons but im probably wrong
I like how despite most of her songs being about how we shouldn’t judge a book by their cover, Taylor still didn’t want to meet Charles.
@Ugly Bastard (INACTIVE) I don't really know what you mean by that, comparing to other celebs she seems to be an alright person and no where near "horrible"😅
@TheTiniestSiren i think u missed OP's point, aside from how she's a celeb and would have bodyguards
@Ugly Bastard (INACTIVE) it's what happens when you sell your soul for fame.
@Delusion well her label sucks then
@Ugly Bastard (INACTIVE) that's probably more of a producer/record company action (the trademark that is)
Taylor should've gone to the school for the deaf and just pumped the bass/volume so they could *feel* the music.
Also deafness is relative, so some could be able to kinda hear.
edit: the replies have suggested using balloons to feel the music & similar stuff
maybe somebody at the school was a fan then went 100% deaf; bet they'd still like to *see* a concert.
Im almost certain Taylor was apart of the trolling. 💀💀💀
@Sept77 Or had somebody sign while she slowed it down and really mouthed them while singing
She probably could've gotten a lot of good press if she had learned to sign her lyrics
@Ghost In what way would doing this have taken humility? It's not like she didn't come because she viewed the students there as beneath her, there was just no logical reason to go, a visit like this takes a lot of planning and it would've all been wasted were she to go to a school for the deaf.

I read about this a few years ago. Imagine if it was put on the ballot....
there needs to be a petition to make it the actual flag
when other countries can have leaves or text on their flag, laser kiwi needs to be a thing
4chan's only mistake was underestimating mr worldwide.
lol. Im sure thats exactly why he went. "Fuck, im known as Mr. Worldwide"
Mr. Worldwide is the coolest
They call him Mr Word Wide for a reason
He’s Puerto Rican
I am not surprised!
XD
@λ I shall not be silenced. Freedom of speech blah blah blah I have my rights blah blah blah
Pitbull looked sincerely touched when he received the key to the city of Kodiak; he literally stumbled back a step. This melts my heart. That town looks so happy 😀

It was glorious. I was ten at the time, and it was at that tender age I learned the fine art of trolling.
I’m a huge metal fan and if something like that happened I would be in stitches. It’s so funny I couldn’t even be mad.
Couldve been worse, they couldve picked Metallica.
I actually looked up a metal version of "Kiss" by Prince after reading this comment. And one exists. And it slaps.
teargazed yeah it is a good song
Not as good as When Doves Cry tho, which probably could be more appreciated by metalheads
2:06 "how do we ruin this"
that is the second most 4chan thing ever right behind "triangulate the bushes"
Where is that😭
How do we ruin this is more 4chan tbh
"We'll go to the safest place in the whole world....An American School."
I laughed so hard I snorted out my coffee.
@Dayton Swanson LMAO
This aged well
I laughed so hard I accidentally discharged my Glock inside the classroom
@Dayton Swanson actually, centerfire rifle rounds can pierce kevlar like its not even there.
@EmblemBlade9 it was a joke
I feel sorry for Charlez. Media just called him a creep for no reason.
Agreed. Quite shameful actions of these journalists. He did listen to her music because of the "don't judge a book by its cover" kinda thing the music has going for it, but they judged him by his cover. Don't think the cutout is bad either: Just some dude trying to have a bit of fun in his life.
This is one of the rare channels I drop what I'm doing and watch new videos on
From internet historian to filthy frank. I see you are another man of culture.
Hi Donut! Its so crazy you watch this too.
Bro Donut I love your vids bro
Me, too!
my man Donut I hope you're doing well
As someone who's a sign language enthusiast, I imagine how incredible id would be if Taylor had just accepted the pool's result and hired ASL interpreters for her show. Deaf people might not hear the lyrics, but they can feel the music's vibrations and have just as much fun with it.
Yeah one of my friends would use a ballon when she went to a concert.
@Hamphield D. Phoenix i mean, that's still her money. she doesn't have to give it to anyone. she's supposed to *make* money off concerts.
@Spongy74 I don't give a fuck
If this celebrity wants to virtue signal, then do it right or don't do it publicly
It was actually sad to see that the media labeled Charles z as 'creepy'
@Ioioioio Io dude if you are number 1 swiftie in the world and you DONT HAVE A CARDBOARD CUT OF HER then you are creepy
@Leonard Wolf why would that be a different situation? Care to explain lmao
@Genghis Khan Daniel is a man.
It's called different situation.
"School for the deaf." I'm fucking dying.
@Absent Minded the SubCreator eh the check was better
She really should have gone, it would be a win for everyone involved
When the University of North Dakota ditched "fighting sioux" for "fighting hawks" they had a mascot naming contest. Mike lead most of it before being removed. Mike hawk
@Erika B Sioux is pronounced sue
@casey hermansen why Sue?
Bravo 👏
@Jorge on my life second place was "Sue" don't recall if they pulled the contest or what the winner was
I live in Alaska, I remember him going to Kodiak was a big deal even though we get big artists at our state fair all the time but for one to go to a remote place like Kodiak was pretty cool of him
For the Taylor Swift and school poll, honestly that deaf school won. They got a shiton of money and didn’t have to worry about Taylor’s security costs, accommodations, etc.
@Renjith Joseph based
@Renjith Joseph Fairly sure they didn't have to worry too much about listening to her music
Or her music lmao
The phrase ‘their marketing team had a brilliant idea’ can cause the decay of the space time continuum.
@dreska their marketing team had a brilliant idea
now what
wtf HAHAHAHAHAHAHA im crying
STOP MY ENTIRE TOWN IS GONE JESUS!
_Do not ever say that again._ half of my city just gone alre
It was actually quite nice that Pitbull went there and had a reasonably good time.
As good a time as one can have in alaska
It helps that Kodiak is scenery porn.
Props to Pitbull for single-handedly proving that the internet doesn't _always_ win.
I think he went one step further. He didn't beat the internet. He just rigged the contest so that everybody would win.
This video reminded me of a poll made to give a name to a new bridge built in Bari, South Italy
They trashed the result, but in our hearts its true name will always be "Harambe bridge"
@sbp 421 invite the arabians government for it's opening day!
@sbp 421 In Arabic, "Haram" means forbidden (as opposed to "Halal" which means permitted), so "Harambridge" would be a hybrid word that means forbidden bridge.
That sounds pretty cool to me but I can see the potential issues, hah.
That one isn't even that bad
Dicks out indeed lads
L'avevo completamente rimosso, grazie anatrone
I'm glad the internet won, but I'm even more happy that the one point they lost to was to pitbull.
There was a local poll in a mexican city recently to name a Turtle. It was named Polnareff. Yes, the internet won once again.
What's wrong with Polnareff?
@marcis arn that’s who Polnareff in jojos bizarre adventure is named after 😂😂😂
@marcis arn That’s because a lot of characters from Jojo are deliberate references to Western musicians and songs; there’s even a villain whose powers are all references to Queen songs (with the guy himself looking like an ersatz David Bowie).
Will the turtle be a Narco ?
This is now my favourite comment ever
I fricking love that random *business man* you have in every shot but slightly edited, makes me burst out laughing every time.
Shit had me dying when he pronounced Taylor as Traylor
2019 Bonus:
Gun Manufacturer Hi-Point held a poll to name their next pistol and "Yeet Cannon" won by a long shot. Hi-Point refused to name it that, which resulted in a ton of memes and protesting and even other gun companies throwing shade at them.
They caved and you can buy a "Yeet Cannon" now.
@Insurge Are we on the same internet? Yeet was ubiquitous for ages.
@Ben Samuel $200 is worth it for the memes imo
Still won’t buy one but this is memetastic
That is awesome
"won by a long shot".
Nice.
I like how he says “don’t mess with the internet using polls”
It’s literally just /b/
*unless you're Pitbull
Similarly to how back during WW2 people thought we shouldn't mess with Germany, when in reality it was just the Nazis causing trouble.
Shoutout in 2019 to Hipoint for actually naming their new 9mm pistol the YEET-CANNON after the online poll. The internet is a beautiful place.
They trashed the original poll where yeet cannon was over double 2nd place. There was so much backlash from the gun community they eventually held another poll with yc9 vs one other name and the 2nd name got like 50 votes total lmao.
Rip top comment snatch
@Kentucky Bruce lmfao
Apparently people are messing with the Minecraft piglin beast naming poll
I feel bad for Charles Z. He didn't get to meet his idol and then people started calling him "Creepy".
"How do we ruin this?" Anon is true chaotic evil, and when pointed at a worthy target, the greatest things happen.
I believe all of these in this video to have been chaotic good, not chaotic evil nor even chaotic neutral.
anon had fuck all to do with it
@Jason Ultimate comments like this breathe new life into me. Your worst nightmare is a 10 second shitpost I make a hundred times a day and forget a thousand times more
@Matheus Henrique you have to go back to reddit
/b/ is chaotic neutral, leaning on the side of good, because it is well known lulz is an objective good.
I remember that first Justin Bieber poll when I was a kid, I laughed so hard when the news broadcast the girls of my country wanting Bieber so much. Then a few months later when I asked my mom about the poll and she said it was cancelled, I laugh even more.
The absolute pinnacle of comedy for me is just that one dude being used as marketing team in these videos, idk how or why but it absolutely makes my day
It's the same one, he has a LOT of clients.
Hold the pain Harold meme
I live in Kodiak. I was with the Kodiak island drummers and we played with him
nice
That’s really cool actually
When my jr high school opened they did a poll to decide the name of the school and the highest voted was Obi Wan Jr. High school. Needless to say they named it something lackluster
Hello Pat how are you doing today
The Jar Jar School For The Exceptionally Endowed.
r/prequelmemes strikes again
Makes sense as you can’t really name a school after Jesus.
@Osmosis Jones Must've been in the second place.
oh my god the fact that they were close to sending a pop star to a school for the deaf is hilarious I've never laughed that hard in years lmao
"anywhere...within the country"
me: they're gonna send him to Alaska, aren't they?
Guantamano bay
"He can see things before they happen, it's a Jedi trait."
@SerialElf yeah, the weather is real nice down there. Maybe 4chan just didn't want to be that nice to the guy
@Vulpes guam does in fact appear to have one, that said a nice island vacation is a bit less trolly than alaska.
@SerialElf Guam probably does, idk about Wake
This happened recently but it's another example of this.

That gun better have a image of pepe on it or 4chan gonna sue that company
YC-9 Gang.

@Nutty Potatoe12 Yes it was
Was this schurr highschool
Just found this channel. Holy F these videos are well made. The narrator voice couldn't be more perfect. And I cant imagine how long it takes to compile and edit the clips.
I still think Boaty McBoatFace was the best troll by far. It was wholesome enough to stay, but still pretty hysterical.
Nah, the "HDNW" Mountain Dew was the best.
4chan is the definition of "We're going to shit on your parade because we can"
And then Pitbull vomits all over them, pisses in their mouths, and still rocks the party.
Finally another internet historian video to watch a thousand times while waiting for the next one...
Internet historian is Jontron confirmed
quality over quantity
Damn, I'm not the only one.
freeman's kush u
After he exposed political corruption on the "Balloon Boy" case, i was worried for the Historian safety.
Combating trolling is like fishtailing on an icy road: instead of swerving away or hitting the breaks, steer into the movement.
Pitbull seems like one of those guys who can make the best out of almost any situation.
i recently moved to alaska and yes, pitbull’s visit is still takes about. multiple of my friends families flew to kodiak for the show
by far the best thing that’s ever happened to alaska
"this is like deploying a SEAL team to give out jaywalking tickets" This comment was gold
I feel like the simple solution would just be to use the second/third place winners if the first place winner isn't suitable lmao
that would inflict heavier PR Damage because on top of evading responsibility, it shows that the organizer has abolished all of it's integrity by choosing the second/third place winner instead of the first place winner in the first place (pun unintended).
Then Nintendo did a poll for the next smash character and everyone voted shrek
@Verdugo Arulaq also Sora was the actual winner of that poll but they couldn’t work him in due to legal shit
I was in the reimu camp for ultimate
Fries Defend this Station.
@Verdugo Arulaq Why is europe sensible? When did that happen?
I keep coming back to watch this video - it's just perfectly created. The humor, comedic timing, editing and music. Love it!
i'm an alaskan and i'm very impressed and surprised that he actually came to our state. because we have such a low population and not a lot of huge stadiums for concerts, very few famous musicians choose to tour up here.
Respect to pitbull for beating 4chan, thats something he can be proud of.
That delivery for the Deaf Men School was just perfect it makes me laugh every single time i watch this video
i dont like him much, but shoutout to pitbull for actually going to alaska
Yeah, I wouldn't have thought he had such a good sport about it. Cool guy
@OP: why, you wouldn't do it ? I dont really have any opinion on the guy but I think I dislike this comment lol..
yeah that was based
People is one of those artists who regardless of his music he actually does a ton of Charity stuff and seems like a cool person in real life
"This is like deploying a seal time to hand out parking tickets" not untrue but that's what's great about the internet.
We had one in our country as well, when a company decided to have people vote on whether they wanted chocolate cereal or leek flavored cereal. A bunch of guys decided to vote for the leek and it was cancelled untill a few weeks ago when they actually released it
As a crazy lady once said
"I'm so proud of this community"
It’s been a while since something on the internet gave me an actual laugh, but sending a musician to a school for the deaf got me.
I always come back to this video because the Pitbull story is just so compelling to me for some reason.
So 4chan indirectly donated a school 50,000 dollars with a poll by preventing a stupid concert?
They are chaotic neutral for sure.
They are using deaf people as the butt of a joke, they arnt the good guys.
@Notifications Off For Replies yeah
@Jordan Zempel Wow, to wish that upon someone. Are you ok in the head?
@Notifications Off For Replies I hope when they do they finally go outside and find themselves in your front yard.
@O.b.w.
Yeah but they also target and spam people and fuck with them. Also /pol can get extremely racist at times
The same happened in France a couple months ago.
A juice brand made an online contest where the city in France with the most votes would get a giant bottle with its name printed on it.
French's version of 4chan made "Issou" town win in the name of a meme.
I love the internet and people that never learn
That Pitbull thing is so wholesome, man.
Your channel is a gem. Please make more videos
im so proud of this community
I love how the best way to win against 4chan is just to do what they ask you to do.
a wise man once said:
"4chan had an idea"
@SquidCultist0 02 4chan.
And the rest is always history
@Korhol to defeat the trolls you must become the trolls
The thinker known as 4chan
oh god. oh fuck
Just before you finished with the Pitbull one I thought to myself "What if they actually followed through with it?" And then he did. Nice. Kinda wish more would do that.
I have learned something from watching your videos:
Petitions never go anywhere.
I bursted laughing out loud on the deaf school part.
I miss Ski-Free, also the connections between Pitbull's song (insert all that stuff in between) to Kodiak Alaska is just incredible.
What I learned from all the internet historian's videos is that 4chan really likes to ruin the fun for everybody and enjoy seeing others miserable
Ruin the fun???
Nah they made it better
Like remember the he will not divide us bs
4 chan was the lighter that lit that clusterfuck
And they also helped save animals and bring animal abusers to justice
And it got $50k for a deaf school
That's kinda nice to hear that Wal-Mart just went along with it and everyone ended up getting good publicity as a result.
Both walmart and pitbull really needed the good PR with walmart being the trailer trash Target and Pitbull....rhyming Kodak with fucking Kodak and just in general being kind of a transparent shill.
I love the idea that it’s just this one marketing team bringing up polls all the time
Just goes to show how cool of a guy Pitbull is to just go "ok" and do it lol
I could watch a full hour of the internet trolling marketing teams. I love this
2:49 the rollercoaster we went through to get to the same result if we would have just went with it being related to Kodiak Alaska . Its so great . Dont ever sleep on this joke
As a retired troll I remember helping with a couple of these ah what good times.
The part w/ Pitbull was actually pretty cool. Not what was meant to happen, but I'll take it.
Same, he's a respectful figure even though I don't like his music.
Dont like his music, but pitbull is based as fuck
It's amazing how united and inventive the community could be when it comes to trolling.
Massive props to Pitbull for making the Alaska thing work
That must have kicked ass for the people of Kodiak, can't imagine they get many concerts out there.
This is actually an accidental wholesome moment from /b/
your videos are legendary. how do you make such masterpieces?
Props to pitbull for actually keeping his word.
@Pepe Beezon what's wrong with gushing granny?
If they're dumb enough to make a poll they can loss, they're dumb enough to not have their lawyer put in a trapdoor for that.
@Mick 92 fapple was a great name tbh
@Pepe Beezon What, are you telling us you wouldn't want to drink some of Granny's Goosh?
This video is such a classic I swear I've seen it 10 times.
This was so much fun to watch. Gotta love the internet for the strange creativity.
Newfound respect for Pit Bull. He called the internet on their bluff.
Honestly, mad props to Pitbulls marketing team for turning this around.
Props to Pitbull for being a good sport. Alternatively, props to Walmart’s legal team and the iron clad contract that prevented him from bailing.
Gotta respect Pitbull for going to Alaska. Solid dude.
@Mega Man X Powered Up Good (or bad?) thing Denver didn't win.
He's Mr.Worldwide afterall
Real talk.
Yeah, Pitbulls get a bad reputation for being mean, but once you get to know one, they're such sweet dogs.
Nathan Hromanik i dont like his music but damn much respect for the follow through and having some fun with it
Your sense of humor is absolutely hilarious man, the de Franco challenge had me rolling
This is hilarious 👌🏻 Well done!
Respect to Pitbull for actually going to Alaska.
Yes, I’m looking at you Justin, shame on you for letting down your NK fans.
