Please do not make these kind of mazes, a normal on is fine, but please do not add styrofoam balls, or add bridges or anything that have gaps in between them like they did, styrofoam balls could cause a blockage if the hamster accidentally swallows one, and the gaps on the bridges etc can cause bumblefoot or could get your hamsters foot stuck and possibly injured. Although mazes are a good thing for the hamster so they aren’t bored/ and they can have exercise, but please be more cautious and do more research than this person did! :)

My hamster loves those tube things, he has one in his cage. All he does is sit in their and sleep. If he was put in this maze all he would do was stay in that tube

However, THIS guy clearly had the hamster’s well-being in mind while designing the maze, and a happy hamster like this is way more fun!

I think people think it's harming the hamster. If taken care of, using safe materials, which it looks as if he does, it's stimulating. If the critter is not over worked, I would think it's a whole lot better exercise than running a damn wheel all night long or running around in a clear ball bumping into things.
I really like the video although there were a few obstacles that did kind of concern me like the rotating spikes one and where they would have to cross a bride over lava or ride a cart over water. I know the lava and water is not really and is just edited in but what concerns me is the fall because that may permanently injure a hamster at that height if they land on their directly onto their head. But overall nice video and you are a lot better at making sure it’s safe then a lot of other channels because there was not anything that I thought was *super* dangerous especially compared to some other channels.
one thing you might not realize is that the maze is actually deadly for this hamster if you go back on the channel to previous videos you might that there is a different hamster that one probably died from stress or eating one of those balls and yes hamsters have short lives but they still can live up to 3+ years
