@NaturalFork Had to FF then I watched it and watched it again. Wow. Correct, Sir, you are!! I didn't appreciate this scene when it was on TV,. But FF how many years now? Remarkable monologue by an extremely talented actor! 👏
Jesse: "Mike's alright" Saul: "Mike's alright!?? He said he was gonna break my legs!!" Walter: "Mike threatened me, he threatened Jesse, he probably threatened someone before breakfast this morning, it's what he does"
They forgot the best line of the entire series. "If that's true, if you don't know who I am . Then maybe your best course would be to tread lightly" (Walter White)
Rich Buscemi OH how I loved that scene! From the start when walt confronted him over the gps tracker and Hank lowered the garage door without a sound. Two great actors at their best here. ?
Louis Chaput so basically Jack and his neo nazi crew have already killed Agent Gomez, Hank's partner, and Hank has been wounded. Walt does not want Hank to die and is willing to do anything to keep Hank alive, even if that means Hank arresting Walt. This is because although Hank found out who Walt truly is, he is still family. He begs to Jack to keep Hank alive and even offers all of the 80 million dollars that he has buried near by, however as Walt continues pleading, Hank turns to him and says, "You're the smartest guy I ever met, and you're too stupid to see; he made up his mind 10 minutes ago." This means that Walt is the smartest guy that Hank has ever met, yet he is so blinded by wishful thinking that he cannot see that Hank's death is inevitable, Jack would never let Hank go. Around 10 minutes ago, when Jack and his crew started shooting at Hank and Gomez, he knew that he would kill whoever he was shooting at, no matter what.
Sorry guys but i didn't understand the end of the sentence at the end of Breaking bad. What does it mean: but you're too stupid to realise he made up his mind 10 min ago
There was a line where Walt talks about how he used to live in fear all of his life but ever since the cancer diagnoses he sleeps just fine. I feel like that should be here
@Aegis Because in America young people who would otherwise have decades ahead of them are fleeced for life saving medications, some dying young needlessly as a result.
@Aegis Better than young people with decades ahead of them dying because rich old people with only a couple of years ahead of them refused to share the wealth.
Great list man, a Jesse quote would have been great though maybe the one where he says he lost everyone he loved ever since he met the great heisenberg, incredibly deep quote.
Yea, he was a Nobel Prize worthy scientist and the founder of a Mega-corporation that he abandoned because of his pride and is a High School Science teacher. Once cancer flipped the "Fuck it" switch for Walter, it could not be unflipped. That buried egomaniac always existed, and now "Heisenberg" is unleashed. Pray that you never encounter him lol.
Jova G Yeah, he was in it for the rush and the power. He got high off the adrenaline from all the action. He would have been an excellent corrupt cop . If only he had gotten into law enforcement like Hank did earlier in life.
When you had "I am the one who knocks" at #5, I was disappointed because that was my favorite line in the whole 5 seasons of the series. But I forgot Jonathon Banks speech about half measures. I loved that speech more, I just forgot it. Good job and thanks.
I am the one who knocks is such an overrated quote from the show and everyone loves it for the completely wrong reason. The family very much was in danger and Walter was in over his head as usually. He's just being an egotistical maniac who thinks he's the most bad ass thing ever when he's really not
the music for quote #7 was actually absolutely perfect for the scene. it captures the intense drama and how it was the start of a turning point for w.w.
It ain't an ego thing. I strongly believe you have never been an outcast. That's the spine of the show. Living under your true potential and being dominated by haters and fuckfaces and, the worst, knowing that you're way better than they are... and suddenly, you have six months to live. Walter was a genius and he got what he deserved, he was 100% alive. The ego has less to do with it.
It is true that if Walt was real he would be a terrible person but seeing him turn from an unappreciated teacher into a badass is incredibly entertaining
The one that is conspicuously missing is the talk Walt has with Hank after gets out of the hospital. He talks about how he used to worry about things and be afraid. Then after his diagnosis, he sleeps just fine. He says "Fear. That's the worst thing. You have to kick ... it in the teeth." That particular speech was so telling of Walt's mind. He says it all right to Hank, and Hank has no idea just how meaningful it is. But we know.
Full Measure also has a great line after Walter calls Jesse to kill Gale and say "your boss is gonna need me" it's just how cocky he sounds knowing he essentially just saved his life in that moment
So many great quotes its impossible no not leave a bunch out. Some other great ones are..... "If you don’t know who I am, then maybe your best course would be to tread lightly" "I did it for me. I liked it, I was good at it. And i was really.......... I was alive" "I won" "If you're committed enough, you can make any story work. I once told a woman I was Kevin Costner, and it worked because I believed it" "Someone has to protect this family from the man who protects this family" "Yeah, bitch! Magnets" "I watched Jane die....... I was there. And I watched her die. I watched her overdose and choke to death. I could have saved her. But I didn't."
Someone once pointed out that the "I am the danger!" speech becomes a lot less bad-ass when you realize he's delivering it to his frightened wife and not some drug lord.
Mike's "No More Half Measure" monologue is the best. Ya might want to use that backstory next time you introduce yourself to a bunch new clients/associates that don't know you.
I remember when that "I am the danger" episode came out and I saw it with a bunch of my friends I literally turned around and said "that's the most badass shit I've ever heard"
I wrote a song called Walter White after watching the episode Ozymandias. I actually mention one of the best quotes (in my opinion) in the song ' I did it for me' '. Wow, so deep! I love this show. Check my song out and see if you like it! It's gonna be nice hearing opinions from people that love breaking bad just as much as I do
"I'm in the empire business" 😂 Idk why that quote from Walt in season 5 made me laugh so much...cause like he's supposed to be a square, a nerd, with wife kids picket fence etc and dude turned into scarface
Any list of best quotes is incomplete without the garage scene "If that's true, if you don't know who I am, then maybe your best course would be to tread lightly".
Walter: "This is a joke. Come on, Skyler. You wanna take me on, you wanna take away my children? WHAT'S THE PLAN?" Skyler: "I don't know!! This is the best I could come up with, okay? I will count every minute that the kids are away from here, away from you, as a victory... but you're right. It's a bad plan. I don't have any of your... magic, Walt, I don't know what to do. I'm a coward. I can't go to the police, I can't stop laundering your money, I can't keep you out of this house, I can't even keep you out of my bed! All I can do is wait. That's it, that's the only good option. Hold on, bide my time, and wait." Walter: "...Wait for what, what are you waiting for?" Skyler: "For the cancer to come back."
"Stay out of my territory." That scene was the making of Heisenberg. Sure, he started cooking meth before that and even killed a couple of people, but that was the moment where he felt like he truly belonged in the game... that he was a badass and he liked it. That ego was eventually his downfall.
Mikes "Half Measures" speech is the single greatest thing that has ever been televised.
Why? I mean it's great, but don't you think you're ridiculously overrating it?
@NaturalFork
Had to FF then I watched it and watched it again. Wow. Correct, Sir, you are!! I didn't appreciate this scene when it was on TV,. But FF how many years now?
Remarkable monologue by an extremely talented actor! 👏
Facts
Yes, that one, I'm the one who knocks and Gus Fring's "A man provides" speech are my top 3 favorites.
Mike. He was one of the best characters in the show.
Watch better call saul he is in there too
The best.
Jesse: "Mike's alright"
Saul: "Mike's alright!?? He said he was gonna break my legs!!"
Walter: "Mike threatened me, he threatened Jesse, he probably threatened someone before breakfast this morning, it's what he does"
"Why am I the only person capable of behaving in a professional manner!" lol
"grow a pair"
marcinikolle I loved that part.
They forgot the best line of the entire series. "If that's true, if you don't know who I am . Then maybe your best course would be to tread lightly" (Walter White)
That's not the quote from WW, but Heisenberg's
I doubt they forgot it. They probably just didn't consider it in their top 7.
Rich Buscemi yess
Ikr? All breaking bad quote videos miss it and for me it's the most memorable
Rich Buscemi OH how I loved that scene! From the start when walt confronted him over the gps tracker and Hank lowered the garage door without a sound. Two great actors at their best here. ?
'You're the smartest guy I ever met and you're too stupid to realise he made up his mind 10 minutes ago '
I love that line!
Louis Chaput and plus Walter told them about the money so he can't bargen with anything
Justin Brown thanks answering me!
Sorry guys but i didn't understand the end of the sentence at the end of Breaking bad. What does it mean: but you're too stupid to realise he made up his mind 10 min ago
3:47 Mike's Half Measures speech to Walter is one of the best scenes of the entire series. Fucking legendary.
There was a line where Walt talks about how he used to live in fear all of his life but ever since the cancer diagnoses he sleeps just fine. I feel like that should be here
The "I am the one who knocks" bit is, to this day, the single most badass on-screen piece I have ever seen
I miss this series so much 😭
febpy chann it's on Netflix ")
Gary Hankin but i'm that big a fan of Saul.
Gary Hankin better watch better call Saul!
Moral of Breaking Bad - Pay Teachers more money.
Amen!
@ContextEffects That's not really how it works. Also, I guess you conceded the original argument.
@Aegis Because in America young people who would otherwise have decades ahead of them are fleeced for life saving medications, some dying young needlessly as a result.
@ContextEffects Why not have both like in America? 🙄
@Aegis Better than young people with decades ahead of them dying because rich old people with only a couple of years ahead of them refused to share the wealth.
Daaaamn. And delivered perfectly. Walter's eyes taking his every word in as he speaks. Brilliant scene.
I really loved hank's last line. To me it's the best line in the series
"You're the smartest guy I ever met, and you're too stupid to see; he made up his mind 10 minutes ago. Do what you gotta do"
Lol quite a few awesome ones
Great list man, a Jesse quote would have been great though maybe the one where he says he lost everyone he loved ever since he met the great heisenberg, incredibly deep quote.
sure bro i think the same ..
Patick: "Huell, you happy?"
Huell: "Reasonably"
What about when Jessie buys back his house?? That was the most savage line in the whole show!
"I'm protecting this family from the man who protects this family" always hits me hard
Good to see that dialogue of Mikes in the list for a change. Loved it.
Mike was the best character by far.
I prefer Mike's "Just because you shot Jesse James, don't make you Jesse James." Walt gets owned!
Jilly QueenB yeah !!!
+Jill Byrne ty a lot for ur comment im glad that u like
Jonathan Banks is so good, I'm glad we get to see more of him in the new show
"I won..."
"I did it for me, I liked it, I was alive"
Now , say my name . . .
- HEISENBERG . . .
-You ' re god damn right !!!
yet gave up 80 million dollars for his family and came back to give 9 million dollars to his family, yaa he was real selfish.
If only he had gotten into law enforcement like Hank did earlier in life.
for me "I did it for me, I liked it, I was alive" is even motivational, he was mediocre until he found his passion,
he did not do it for the money
« Stay out of my territory » is so great, the way he says it, the music playing, the look on Walt’s face... just perfect moment!
"uh sir if you'd like to smoke you have to be another 20 feet from the door"
"so roll me further bitch"
Iconic
When you had "I am the one who knocks" at #5, I was disappointed because that was my favorite line in the whole 5 seasons of the series. But I forgot Jonathon Banks speech about half measures. I loved that speech more, I just forgot it. Good job and thanks.

" I am not in danger, I am the danger"..
I am not in danger , I am the danger . . .
yes we all saw the video, thanks
"Stay out of my territory", that's when Walt was beginning to turn into Heisenberg.
NO BRO, Its "I AM THE ONE WHO KNOCKS"
Michael Nahod ะ
5:32 Man.. I can remember "hating" Walter for killing of mike.. He was my favorite character of the show..
Rock it
Rockit Mike was right
Mike was a trigger pull away from shooting Walt at one time (on orders from Gus). Yes, I liked Mike too, but "Live by the sword, die by the sword."
Rockit I did love Mike. I also loved Walt and even Hank in later seasons. In the very end though I was full on Walter in Felina.
the music for quote #7 was actually absolutely perfect for the scene.
it captures the intense drama and how it was the start of a turning point for w.w.
almost broke down to tears while watching the whole finale.
I love when Walt tells Jesse to shoot Gale on the phone and then he looks at Mike and the other guy and says "YEAH"
"I did it for me, I liked it, I was good at it. And...I was... really... I was alive"
Enrique R wrong bro
You slowly see Walter become a ego maniac and it's so sad.
The ego has less to do with it.
vivian t I didnt mean it
King Awesome you're reply is basically what everyone thinks lol
It is true that if Walt was real he would be a terrible person but seeing him turn from an unappreciated teacher into a badass is incredibly entertaining
an ego maniac not a ego maniac
The one that is conspicuously missing is the talk Walt has with Hank after gets out of the hospital. He talks about how he used to worry about things and be afraid. Full Measure also has a great line after Walter calls Jesse to kill Gale and say "your boss is gonna need me" it's just how cocky he sounds knowing he essentially just saved his life in that moment
wow...i love your #1 choice...i completely forgot that one. Mike is AMAZING.
ty ^^
It is not showed here but Bryan Cranston's impression when he turns around after saying "i am the one who knocks" is brilliant in my opinion
The last scene was probably the best scene I have seen in any show ever
So many great quotes its impossible no not leave a bunch out. Some other great ones are.....
"If you don’t know who I am, then maybe your best course would be to tread lightly"
"I did it for me. I liked it, I was good at it. And i was really.......... I was alive"
"I won"
"If you're committed enough, you can make any story work. I once told a
woman I was Kevin Costner, and it worked because I believed it"
"Someone has to protect this family from the man who protects this family"
"Yeah, bitch! Magnets"
"I watched Jane die....... I was there. And I watched her die. I watched her overdose and choke to death. I could have saved her. But I didn't."
Someone once pointed out that the "I am the danger!" speech becomes a lot less bad-ass when you realize he's delivering it to his frightened wife and not some drug lord.
Gives me chills every time.
Great selections from a great show! Well done !
ty a lot for your support ^^
Mike's "No More Half Measure" monologue is the best. Ya might want to use that backstory next time you introduce yourself to a bunch new clients/associates that don't know you.
The best line is this one "Have an A1 day!!!"
jantjehd lol😂😂😂
I remember when that "I am the danger" episode came out and I saw it with a bunch of my friends I literally turned around and said "that's the most badass shit I've ever heard"
Mike’s speech is legendary
Man, "Mike" was such an awesome character. I'm so glad Banks got to go back and play in that sandbox again in "Saul".
yes mike is a wondefull character
''You got me..'' best quote of the entire series
Why Jonathan Banks wasn't nominated for anything... I have no idea.
He won 3 Golden Globes
Thomas Christopher White actually he was..and won it too..the critics' choice award for best supporting actor for Better call saul
I wrote a song called Walter White after watching the episode Ozymandias. I actually mention one of the best quotes (in my opinion) in the song ' I did it for me' '.
Wow, so deep! I love this show. Check my song out and see if you like it! It's gonna be nice hearing opinions from people that love breaking bad just as much as I do
Mike's last speech was so good
3:48 is a life lesson to take home.
Stay out of my territory was such a good ending of an episode, it just left you wanting more of Heisenberg
Cheers to the best show to have ever aired
"I took a half measure while I should have gone the whole way ... No more half measures Walter." Epic!
"I'm in the empire business" 😂 Idk why that quote from Walt in season 5 made me laugh so much...cause like he's supposed to be a square, a nerd, with wife kids picket fence etc and dude turned into scarface
But what about that time when Jesse said "bitch"?
Why do none of the comments show appreciation or at least understanding of the joke?
"Yeah Science Bitch!" should have been like a runner up or something.
The whole show pretty much
Mike was incredible in that scene
#7 is amazing on this list, not the quote or anything.... but the entire scene is so tense.... Walt could burn a hole through metal with that stare.
Any list of best quotes is incomplete without the garage scene "If that's true, if you don't know who I am, then maybe your best course would be to tread lightly".
"Tow the line Skyler... or you'll end up just like Hank..."
Now that's powerful
“The soul is nothing but chemistry here”
My favorite was: “I’m the guy your boss sent to show you how it’s done.” -Jesse Pinkman
"I am the one who knocks." Still a hair-raising scene.
no more half measures Walter,
Mike was an awesome character, one of my favourites
Without a doubt, to me...the number 6 quote on here, is my number 1 quote...pure dramatic!
The half-measure monologue is great.
I miss these moments
Jesse Pinkman: "Yeah Mr White!....Yeah Science!"
Gus Fring: "Do it.......DOOOOO IT!"
Saul Goodman: "Is that you talking or Yoko Ono"
Junkie: "SKANK SKANK SKANK SKANK SKANK SKANK!"
03:13 best line in tv history
"I did it for me. I liked it. I was good at it. And I was really, I was alive."
One of my faves, Saul: "Yo Adrian, Rocky called, he wants his face back!"
"Stay out my Territory" Fucking so bad ass I have that meme poster hanging in my cubical.
"...I AM the one who knocks" favourite quote
Great quotes!!
But honestly the best one for me was the "I AM THE DANGER!"
"You don't need a criminal's lawyer, you need a criminal lawyer"
Jessy Pinkman referring to Saul Goodman.
There was a scene where Mike says "You've been busy Walt". Laughed my ass off..
Someone has to protect this family from the man who protects this family
"This is my own private domicile and I will not be harassed...... Bitch"
''Shut up and let me die in peace'' that's the best
When Mike says to Walter, " just because you killed Jesse James, doesn't make you Jesse James".
You forgot Mike's epic death: "Shut the fuck up....and let me die in peace"
Favorite quote is "stay out of my territory" sooooo badass
I actually want to get "No more half measures" tattooed on me somewhere
My favourite was "Run". I could watch that scene all day long.
😁😁😁 "Youre goddamn right" just made me tear up
Well. You know how they say "it's been a pleasure"? It hasn't.
Who said that again
Pineapple Studio hey that's a good one tho
'' I'll never make that mistake again '' daaaamn that was deep
"BITCH"
- Jessie
these were good and as much as i liked Mike's half measure speech I'm the one who knocks is definitely #1
la meilleure des séries!!!
does anyone else notice the basketball player behind Walter at the very end dialogue?
Number one is epic. Well deserved. Mike...
"You're never too old for balloons"
Walter: "This is a joke. Come on, Skyler. You wanna take me on, you wanna take away my children? WHAT'S THE PLAN?"
Skyler: "I don't know!! Hold on, bide my time, and wait."
Walter: "...Wait for what, what are you waiting for?"
Skyler: "For the cancer to come back."
What's your opinions of the best quote in each season?
I love the Breaking bad series
the list is perfectly placed
"The guy with the eyebrows that won't quit"
~Saul Goodman
The HALF MEASURES scene was great, but, IMO, The SAY MY NAME scene is the best of the show.
The first clip is my favorite Heisenberg moment
No more half measures Walt best quote
"Stay out of my territory." That scene was the making of Heisenberg. Sure, he started cooking meth before that and even killed a couple of people, but that was the moment where he felt like he truly belonged in the game... that he was a badass and he liked it. That ego was eventually his downfall.
i'm not in danger, i am the danger!
Gus was the danger ;)
