It makes perfect sense that Mackenzies editing and filming has improved with practice. It would be weirs if it hadn't, no?

If you watch back through all of their videos, then they regularly showed you where they were living whilst they were building. They've made a long documentary video once a week for years....OF COURSE it's going to get more professional?!?! And what's so bad about a pose being "scripted"? Dude this is a scripted pose. I too got suckered in at the beginning they I noticed that the filming has become far more professional then an at the beginning. the tools became more professional and a host of other similar events. where is all the raw material coming from? Where do they live while the project is being constructed? Did you ever ask your self these questions. ???

So much to love about this one - the new project and the possibilities that come attached to it, that a growing family doesn't need to lock themselves into a single structure when using shipping containers. I think eventually they will build on to the shipping container house. I don't know what they will use this one for but they said electricity needs to be hooked up to it. I also think they will use one to store some of Spencer's big toys...like his tractor and things. Don't forget McKenzie all women needs a "she shed!"

Yes, they're very sneaky not telling us how it's to be used! My guess is they might partition it, making one half into either a small guest room and bath or an office, and the other half into utility space and storage kind of like Ardent Reiki described earlier in this thread.

Can't wait to see what the new project is going to be. I was hoping for a storm shelter, but then they put it up on blocks instead of burying it slightly. Maybe a workshop / tool storage area? Maybe guest accommodation for when family come and stay? I'd love to see them build an auto shop for Spencer to start his own business in, made with two pairs of double stacked containers, with the workshop between under a roof supported with glue-lam beams.

I haven’t read all of the comments, so I don’t know if someone’s already recommended this, but if y’all throw out some rye grass seeds in that cleared area, it will help prevent soil erosion over the winter (my understanding is that rye is a colder weather grass- at least, that’s what we always planted as an over-winter pasture grass here in Tx). Looking forward to y’all’s new project!

Can't wait to see what the new project is going to be. I was hoping for a storm shelter, but then they put it up on blocks instead of burying it slightly. Maybe a workshop / tool storage area? Maybe guest accommodation for when family come and stay? I'd love to see them build an auto shop for Spencer to start his own business in, made with two pairs of double stacked containers, with the workshop between under a roof supported with glue-lam beams.

I haven’t read all of the comments, so I don’t know if someone’s already recommended this, but if y’all throw out some rye grass seeds in that cleared area, it will help prevent soil erosion over the winter (my understanding is that rye is a colder weather grass- at least, that’s what we always planted as an over-winter pasture grass here in Tx).
