my problem with florence's stylist is that they dress her like she's tall and she is not tall! love her to death, her cannes look still lives in my brain rent free, but it never fails there's just too much fabric nearly every time

ever since i learned the kibbe body types, i notice so much more why some dresses look all wrong on some celebs. a lot of these outfits were very much on the Dramatic side. so if your proportions make you appear short (regardless of your real height), you just drown in all the fabric and angles and intense colors. angela bassett was one of the few whose body type and outfit seemed more harmonized, because the dress didn't overwhelm her. good for her!
