Wait a minute. Not only jimmy. The bucket and spaghetti jeff keeps time together. They fix all the mistakes of the past like back then like in the Prohibition video. Before al capone killed the kids when he was Santa but then the bucket stopped it with the soothing mop aroma. Spaghetti jeff stopped napoleon from going back to France and doing a surprise attack on the UK and destroying everything and I mean everything in his way.then he created the napoleon empire which is this big thing in a different history but basically he started slavery again but Spaghetti jeff gave them free Spaghetti and motivational speeches. Some people tried to fix time in their own way but the bucket and spaghetti jeff stopped them in their own way.

@Bigman I'd say the situation was marginally better. As bad as stalin was, the tzar was worse. Russia had basically missed out on the industrial revolution and had to play catch up, as bad as it was at least progress was made under stalinist rule. that's not to say either was good, but I'd rather starve with modern tech than starve with outdated tech.
Fun fact: Jimmy’s family consists of several cosmic beings, him and his mother each being one. They live in the gaps between reality and have the ability to travel through dimensions and visit out mortal plain whenever they see fit
The way I learned it, Nicholas wasn’t necessarily a big fan of Rasputin, but he loved his wife very much as was easily influenced by her opinions. Rasputin, however, had a lot of influence over Alexandra. There were rumors that the two of them were having an affair. So if Rasputin thought a certain policy should be enacted, or a certain minister should he fired, he told Alexandra who would suggest it to Nicholas.
The only thing that matters in this life is whether or not you know the Lord Jesus Christ who is the love of your life, and you His. There lived a certain man in Russia long ago He was big and strong, in his eyes a flaming glow Most people looked at him with terror and with fear But to Moscow chicks he was such a lovely dear He could preach the Bible like a preacher Full of ecstasy and fire But he also was the kind of teacher Women would desire Ra ra Rasputin Lover of the Russian queen There was a cat that really was gone Ra ra Rasputin Russia's greatest love machine It was a shame how he carried on He ruled the Russian land and never mind the Czar But the kazachok he danced really wunderbar In all affairs of state he was the man to please But he was real great when he had a girl to squeeze For the queen he was no wheeler dealer Though she'd heard the things he'd done She believed he was a holy healer Who would heal her son Ra ra Rasputin Lover of the Russian queen There was a cat that really was gone Ra ra Rasputin Russia's greatest love machine It was a shame how he carried on But when his drinking and lusting And his hunger for power Became known to more and more people The demands to do something About this outrageous man Became louder and louder Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey "This man's just got to go", declared his enemies But the ladies begged, "Don't you try to do it, please" No doubt this Rasputin had lots of hidden charms Though he was a brute, they just fell into his arms Then one night some men of higher standing Set a trap, they're not to blame "Come to visit us", they kept demanding And he really came Ra ra Rasputin Lover of the Russian queen They put some poison into his wine Ra ra Rasputin Russia's greatest love machine He drank it all and said, "I feel fine" Ra ra Rasputin Lover of the Russian queen They didn't quit, they wanted his head Ra ra Rasputin Russia's greatest love machine And so they shot him 'til he was dead
I can say with complete honesty that this video actually helped me get a 5/6 on my AP World History exam. The essay portion was on the Russian revolution, and I had watched both parts of this the night prior. Thanks, Oversimplified!
@Cactus Well the 'Special military operation' was supposed to take 3 days, now it's lasted over a year and all they have to show for it are a few territories and over 100,000 dead russian soldiers. That's not winning either.
There is something about the Russian empire and the Japanese The Russian empire had every reason to become a superpower The Japanese had every reason not to if alexander gave nikolas to great general or govenor then it would help
Would like to say thank you to this channel bc of how easy my test on post 1900s Europe was. My teacher forgot to include lecture notes on Russia in WW1 and having watched this 2 times before helped me a lot lmao
Part of what made the Khodynka Tragedy so deadly was a long ditch which many rushing people fell into before being trampled. The stampede was escalated with rumors that there was a gold coin in each beer cup.
your really funny, but really helpful sometimes.. when someone needs to make a history project, you help him. you are really the best history youtuber in the world.🙂
I wish this was shown in school as a preview when I was a kid. Then we would read more in our textbook. This was so easy to follow and I understand the Russin Revolution now!
You seriously need to do a video on the Russo-Japanese War, it is already a ridiculous conflict, and with your ability for storytelling it would be amazing!
I mean, on one hand, I wanna see Vietnam, but honestly, just for mention of a cool choo choo train by way of the Trans-Siberian railway it could be on the cards

Please do a history of Alaska. I recently visited Alaska for the first time last year and I learned so much of its history. I did not know that Russia, Japan, China and even filipinos were a big part of its history (There's a lot more) . This was a very good experience that me and my misses are going back this year. Going to Fairbanks! Hopefully see the norther lights!
I had been heartbroken by a Russian so I refused to watch this and get reminded of her and learn of her culture, but it coming up ok the recommended everyday killed me, so I’m watching it in hopes it’ll go away, as much as I love oversimplified Edit: Some how we are now back together
i do wanna point out that even tho Witte's policies made the tsar kinda unpopular, most russians did still support the tsar because they blamed Witte for their issues regarding hid policies more than they actually blamed the tsar. Boody Sunday is mainly the event in which people really begin to directly hate the tsar himself and not just his advisers like Pobodonostev, Witte and Stolypin
THIS CHANNEL IS THE REASON IM PASSING AP WORLD RIGHT NOW, my teacher is good but I have un-medicated adhd and flashy moving scenes keep me captivated. I love this channel so much.

And I gotta say, compared to Norway and Sweden, what would later become Finland was much kinder to my ancestors.
When I watches these for the first time, it really got me into the spirit of the era. All the old films and parodies and whatever just didn't have that much direct, solid and clear anything. Just thinking about the grandiose society and the spirits of the period. It was just what I needed in that moment. I also got some messed up ideas from memories of this later on so everything was great
Yeah, I'm 42, and at some point I noticed that the fall of communism had become history, straight-up. It was in my high school history textbooks and so on, but almost as an epilogue followed by "to be continued ..." The way I look at it is in terms of half-lives, like: 20yr, 10yr, 5yr vs. 30yr, 15yr, 7.5yr vs. 40yr, 20yr, 10yr. When the second number is 18yr--that is right at the threshold of "old". When the third one is 18+, you're really old.
your stuff is so good I wish there was more of it but it takes time to make this kind of quality. Would love to see a full length in depth documentary in this style. Can we find some investors and talent to help you do this?
He's got 3 million subs with less than 20 videos on his channel and always hits #1 on trending when he posts a new video. I think he's definitely getting the recognition.
someone in my history class cited Rasputin taking Alexi off his asprin meds as how Rasputin helped the royal family... seems like i'm not the only oversimplified fan in my class
It would be amazing if you could do a vid on the Hawaiian Anexation by the US. It's a story I grew up learning about and I think you could work wonders with it.
We watched this in class today I absolutely love your videos and this is the only history channel I enjoy watching. I think everyone in my class can agree.
Not even 20 second’s in when she said “an exciting time to be alive” in my head I just went “look around look around and how lucky we are to be alive right now” 😂😂
I hope you have plans to make a video about the current situation between Russia, Ukraine, and the rest of the world. Thank you for the history lesson; they don't teach #$@t in our schools so this was very educational.
@Teth The level of starvation and it’s cause was very questionable during the Russian Empire, much less so than the Soviet Union. As much as there wasn’t any political opposition permitted within pretty much either state, the Soviets were certainly more effective in economic method. Sure, every country and state has committed all those things. The question is what it was caused by and whether it could’ve been avoided, really.
@L.N Horrible conditions, famines, executions, dictatorship all continued, it was just on the left side of the political spectrum rather than the right.
If anyone wants to read about the myth of Anastasia escaping Ekaterinburg and the Pretender eventually known by the name Anna Anderson, I highly recommend “Resurrection of the Romanovs”. A woman who was fished from the river after a suicide attempt in Berlin a few years after the Imperial family was assassinated, and who would eventually come to be known as Anna Anderson, would capture the world’s imagination and even divide the surviving relatives of the Romanovs over whether she was truly Anastasia or not. But she definitely wasn’t, and the Berlin police knew who she really was within days of her attempt! She was a Polish peasant named Franziska Schanzkowska, who had the extraordinary luck to feature similar enough corresponding identifying marks and physical conditions as Anastasia. Her true family even came to visit her. She still managed to take advantage of people’s desire for a miracle and thoroughly shed her true identity enough to fool people who knew the real Anastasia. She was good at remembering details then producing these “things only the real Anastasia could know” tidbits. She conveniently “refused” to speak Russian. She was also good at spending other people’s money, mainly former Russian nobles seeking favor just in case, and great at burning bridges as she went from benefactor to benefactor. She died after a long and fascinating life lived as a mysterious enigmatic claimant to be the last survivor of the Tsar’s line and legacy. Not bad for a Polish farm worker. She deserves a high quality prestigious big budget film.
@Antoine Lachapelle Well, I can stick my fingers in my ears and hope for overall improvement all the same! Haha I think things can get better over time in that, once people experience certain freedoms, they don't want to give them up. There are exceptions, but it seems to generally go that way. So the more countries experience them, the less they'll revert. Hopefully.
@Kaiodenic Things don't get better over time they just get faster and more efficient and that's true of good things and bad things alike. Faster communication and travel methods, immense production of energy = very good Faster death machines and mega-energetic-output doomsday weapons = really fucking bad Progress is neutral, we do the same shit we used to in 500 BC, just faster and with less effort
Sorry to hear that mate. I hope things will be okay eventually - history repeats itself, but with minor changes and (in general) things eventually get better over time.
That’s funny when the father said to his son-“No it’s not scary go say bye to your Grandfather.” And when he seen him it was hilarious-“Hey Boyyyy 😮Soon you will be Tsar and End Up Like Meeeee!” Lmaoooo😅

Charlie Chaplin?
Nicholas seemed like the guy everyone wanted to be their friend, if only he wasn't the Tsar.
@David Cox He seems like a guy who would make dad jokes even without being a dad. So yeah.
@joel ygot jr if he was a good person he wouldn’t hoard all the wealth for himself whilst his people are dying. not to mention a racist is not a good person.
I think some records say that after Nicholas was exiled to Siberia, he was actually a pretty chill dude, he was just a crappy Tsar
To be fair, most people would be sh!t at running anything let alone a country no matter how good of people they are
That’s a thing that takes lots of skill, and a huge heap of knowledge
I didn’t know Nicholas personally, so idk if he was a good person or not 💀

В некоторых местах немного приукрашено, но в целом рассказано не плохо

Fun fact:
Tsar Nicholas II and King George V of Britain looked identical, and they used to swap clothes at dinner parties to prank their guests.
Looks like sense of humor WAS around since forever!
Now that scares me
they were cousins
cool bro
I liked this fact
this needs to be the no 1 fact in the 20th century
I mean they were cousins so it makes sense (they were also cousins with Kaiser Wilhelm, which makes WWI, "Family Feud")
I love that all it says about the UK is that it invented the train: as a native of the area I can confirm that this is an accurate representation of our attitude to our past.
One inaccuracy though: the locomotive he used was Canadian, not British.
Well the number on the guys hat is 420 at 0:34
@Rory Stephens i liek traenz
Yup
bro this guy needs to hire more people to crank these out. i’ve been rewatching video after video. if these came out even every 2-3 months i think he would see massive growth. he is so good at what he does. but then again there is only so much history people would be interested in
@Bookshelf Bagels Still having more people just lessens the workload.
Well, it's also the reasearch, editing, scriptwriting, animating, voice lines, etc.
@Abijith P Octomom is a south asian woman who had like twins, but eight of them(I don't wanna say India, I may be wrong)

It all makes sense

"Your grandfather has a mild case of being blown up by a terrorist" gets me every time
There lived a certain man in Russia long ago
He was big and strong, in his eyes a flaming glow
Most people looked at him with terror and with fear
But to Moscow chicks he was such a lovely dear
He could preach the Bible like a preacher
Full of ecstasy and fire
But he also was the kind of teacher
Women would desire
Ra ra Rasputin
Lover of the Russian queen
There was a cat that really was gone
Ra ra Rasputin
Russia's greatest love machine
It was a shame how he carried on
He ruled the Russian land and never mind the Czar
But the kazachok he danced really wunderbar
In all affairs of state he was the man to please
But he was real great when he had a girl to squeeze
For the queen he was no wheeler dealer
Though she'd heard the things he'd done
She believed he was a holy healer
Who would heal her son
Ra ra Rasputin
Lover of the Russian queen
There was a cat that really was gone
Ra ra Rasputin
Russia's greatest love machine
It was a shame how he carried on
But when his drinking and lusting
And his hunger for power
Became known to more and more people
The demands to do something
About this outrageous man
Became louder and louder
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
"This man's just got to go", declared his enemies
But the ladies begged, "Don't you try to do it, please"
No doubt this Rasputin had lots of hidden charms
Though he was a brute, they just fell into his arms
Then one night some men of higher standing
Set a trap, they're not to blame
"Come to visit us", they kept demanding
And he really came
Ra ra Rasputin
Lover of the Russian queen
They put some poison into his wine
Ra ra Rasputin
Russia's greatest love machine
He drank it all and said, "I feel fine"
Ra ra Rasputin
Lover of the Russian queen
They didn't quit, they wanted his head
Ra ra Rasputin
Russia's greatest love machine
And so they shot him 'til he was dead
Oh those Russians
Why was I just listening to that song and decided to take an Oversimplified break (i was doing some art)
@DARKHARLQUIN_ALT because everyone loves that song, and it's the only reason people under 50 know who Rasputin was
@$moneycows$ yeah, there's no way he copied and pasted it from a lyrics site, mad respect to that guy
How... I just noticed how many likes I got ... for this? Just why?

We pledge our allegiance to the Soviet Union

It’s not you who owes an apology to Sami people as much as degenerate politicians and state actors who oppressed them.
I deeply apologize for my ancestors treatment of your people, and for the way our goverment is still mistreating them.
The biggest issue I have is the mom who let her child go to at least 4 other Countries alone lol

Just thinking about the grandiose society and the spirits of the period. It was just what I needed in that moment. I also got some messed up ideas from memories of this later on so everything was great
“You’re grandfather has a mild case of being blown up by a terrorist” has to be one of the funniest jokes OverSimplified made

@Reentry sfs 🤣
The way this video is created is by far superior than anything I've seen. Bravo!
I thought the whole point of being a grandpa is to make your grandson happy and enjoy his life not giving him god dam PTSD
To be fair, the grandpa was right.
If Oversimplified could find a way to manage making these vids every 3-4 months it would be the best entertainment move for history ever lol
The day oversimplified covers an event that I lived through is how I'll know I'm officially old
@WARRIORS4LIFE [WMO] [CMP] Ukraine war happens since 2014
hey i know one
the Ukraine war
Yeah, I'm 42, and at some point I noticed that the fall of communism had become history, straight-up. It was in my high school history textbooks and so on, but almost as an epilogue followed by "to be continued ..."
The way I look at it is in terms of half-lives, like: 20yr, 10yr, 5yr vs.
@Brouljak then you go make some
@J Ygb Not tons. 29 is not that many.
He has tons of videos bro
Oversimplified doesn’t upload often, but the amount of detail and effort he puts into his videos deserves way more recognition.
Declan McCarthy The hell you talking about, the guy has one of the most successful channels on this platform.
^^ Do you see how quickly people flock to his videos as soon as it uploads (including me)? He's definitely got a large following
He's got 3 million subs with less than 20 videos on his channel and always hits #1 on trending when he posts a new video.
I think he's definitely getting the recognition.
no matter how many times i watch an oversimplified video i will always fall for the sponsor part.
I just love Oversimpled! You lift up my mood like no other.
The way you transition into sponsers is amazing. It's very hilarious
someone in my history class cited Rasputin taking Alexi off his asprin meds as how Rasputin helped the royal family... seems like i'm not the only oversimplified fan in my class
Oh my god, I did not expect to laugh out loud during my study binge. Thank you OverSimplified
Oversimplified made another video. This elated his audience, who praised him severely.
This is gold
I got that reference.
...now. Because the video is blocked in my country and I don't give a damn about VPNs. I love the Big Brother.
lol
Lime Green Like yourself
Imagine having the troll face as your pfp in 2020
It would be amazing if you could do a vid on the Hawaiian Anexation by the US. It's a story I grew up learning about and I think you could work wonders with it.
Love how creative he is when he introduce sponsors
We watched this in class today I absolutely love your videos and this is the only history channel I enjoy watching. I think everyone in my class can agree.
Perfect guide. After watching this video, I know how to start a revolution in Russia. Thank you for this video.
People already following that recipe in the United States!
Hol' up

Not even 20 second’s in when she said “an exciting time to be alive” in my head I just went “look around look around and how lucky we are to be alive right now” 😂😂
I love how the ending literally is the intro to his WWI video. Very clever!
I’m 32 and your videos are the most I’ve desired to learn history
I love these videos! Can't wait to learn more.
This would be a good video to watch in school to teach students history.
"Your grandfather has a mild case of being blown up by a terrorist"
This line is absolute gold.
Lol ikr
Since he could still talk, it was indeed just a mild case^^

Yes
Ok
20:40 "or maybe things were about to get worse. A lot worse"
Russian history in a nutshell
Yes a centralised planned economy made Russia a superpower within decades.
I hope you have plans to make a video about the current situation between Russia, Ukraine, and the rest of the world. Thank you for the history lesson; they don't teach #$@t in our schools so this was very educational.
Watching this for my history exam and tbh its working better than anything else ive tried so far
This episode is hitting different, well done.
When he said "under communism, even people like you could get a girlfriend" it hit hard.
"And then it got worse."
-- Unofficial motto of Russian History
@vinod kumar real and btw same it india
yeah...
Well, not in this case. Over the next 20 years, the economy, literacy, etc. will improve many times.
EXCEPT FOR THE MOST DESTRUCTIVE WAR IN HISTORY
@Teth The level of starvation and it’s cause was very questionable during the Russian Empire, much less so than the Soviet Union. As much as there wasn’t any political opposition permitted within pretty much either state, the Soviets were certainly more effective in economic method. Sure, every country and state has committed all those things. The question is what it was caused by and whether it could’ve been avoided, really.
@L.N Horrible conditions, famines, executions, dictatorship all continued, it was just on the left side of the political spectrum rather than the right.
Oversimplified slots in his sponsors so beautifully one can’t help but admire it🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
You know its total chaos when the best history youtube channel still can't make it quite clear what in the name of buttermilk pancakes is going on.
Honestly, if I had stuff like this in high school I would have come out so much more knowledgeable about history.
Thanks bro! This video was awesome! Do you think you can make one for the Industrial Revolution too? Thanks again!!
Was expecting the Napoelonic wars, but this is also welcomed
@king sweden r/woosh
Nice
@Digital Apple it’s out now
Never miss eng classes
The container at 11:24 with a label at the top saying “Питьевая вода” actually means “Drinking water” in Russian
Here's to hoping we get a part 3!
8:03 the old man shooting lazers is the best thing I've ever seen
I have to admit, you have some of the most creative sponsor-plug segways I've seen on KZclip.
Omg you guys are SO funny! 😂😂 I love your videos! 🤣
“And even people like you could get a girlfriend.”
I don’t know guys, this communism thing is starting to sound pretty good to me 🤔
@masuda ahmed ah yea, it’s never communism
You might get her but so will everyone else 🤮
top 10 pictures taken moments before disaster
This guy. Teaches history so well. 👌👌👌👌
11:57 It's very scary how close it is to the current situation for me being Russian. History really repeats itself.
This is why learning history is so important
@Antoine Lachapelle Well, I can stick my fingers in my ears and hope for overall improvement all the same! Haha
I think things can get better over time in that, once people experience certain freedoms, they don't want to give them up. There are exceptions, but it seems to generally go that way. So the more countries experience them, the less they'll revert. Hopefully.
@Kaiodenic Things don't get better over time they just get faster and more efficient and that's true of good things and bad things alike.
Faster communication and travel methods, immense production of energy = very good
Faster death machines and mega-energetic-output doomsday weapons = really fucking bad
Progress is neutral, we do the same shit we used to in 500 BC, just faster and with less effort
Sorry to hear that mate. I hope things will be okay eventually - history repeats itself, but with minor changes and (in general) things eventually get better over time.
I love these videos I’ve watched this one so many times yet I’ve only just noticed the rat striking with the workers 😆
very nice explanation
keep posting videos like this!
That’s funny when the father said to his son-“No it’s not scary go say bye to your Grandfather.” And when he seen him it was hilarious-“Hey Boyyyy 😮Soon you will be Tsar and End Up Like Meeeee!” Lmaoooo😅
This is the absolute best way I’ve ever seen it described. I could not stop laughing.
"I haven't eaten in 4 days and you look pretty tasty" cant tell if this is a reference to the actual cannibal island that Russia had

At 18:18, the number on the prisoner's uniform is 24601, which is the same number Jean Valjean is assigned in Les Miserables
