So wait, what, you were in the middle of the plane so they made 'fake' windows with screens looking outside so everyone gets a window seat? What an absolutely awesome idea!!!!!
@AvTweet I honestly am not sure if this will be approved by safety regulators considering windows are crucial during emergencies as they allow crew and PAX to see whether there is a fire in order to decide which side/doors to evacuate from. In case of a power loss during an emergency landing, you would not be able to do this. Also that is why they ask you to open the window shades before takeoff/landing.
@AvTweet i dont think that will ever happen… windows are safety issue too, its too risky to have virtual windows on entire passanger plane like if it was cargo. Its. A a fun idea of first class with a wall, but thats it.
@AvTweet But windows are also used to look outside in an emergency to see any potential dangers (like if the right engine is on fire don't evacuate through the exit near it), so if the power goes out and the virtual windows are gone... not to mention the cabin will be under complete darkness (aside from the tiny exit lights) and the cabin crew can't direct anyone to do anything.
Hey Jeb - you don’t need an adapter for the headphones. Airlines use those types of plugs so people don’t take them with them off the plane as they wold have no use elsewhere. If you plug in a regular aux cord into one of the 2 larger holes it will still work. Just a tip! Thanks for posting such great content!
@Randomly Entertaining yup, a few years back I bought an aux cable on Amazon and it came with a whole bunch of random adapters - I was surprised to see a two prong adapter
I became so obsessed with watching these Emirates flight videos and had to stop cause I realized how sad I was making myself! Still in college and working hard so I can afford to fly in first class or at least business. It’s one of my dreams
I am in college but I don't dream of this, I dream of becoming a better person and having a good person beside me to travel with. It's the experience that matters!
I’m a frequent flyer with Emirates but I’ve never been lucky enough to fly their amazing first class, I fly Emirates business and love the 777/300er and A380 upper deck business products, thanks for sharing this amazing experience Jeb. Fantastic Vlog and review.
I'm with Paul I am a frequent flyer and have never had a first class upgrade, mind you I cant say I like the A380 First that much expect I would like to take a shower at 35000 feet
A big cheers to the Emirates staff for being so accommodating and also being so entertaining that was quite a great crew that Jeb got to fly with, congrats to Emirates, keep up the good work This has been quite an accurate review of the current status of Emirates, and also comparatively speaking to the old regard great work sir
Thanks Jeb, it’s great to see that a seasoned traveler can still get excited about the flying in an awesome first class cabin! Very informative and well presented.
This was an absolute joy to watch. I especially laughed in the beginning when you were having your first champagne because that was exactly how I looked the very first time I flew business. This was my favourite in the air vid that I’ve ever seen. I truly felt that excitement with you
I like this guy, he represents what’s good about the USA - enthusiastic, determined and full of humour and clearly a canny businessman. Also like his Brietling !
KZclip offered me to watch this older video, surely because it knows how much I love your videos -yes, I even clicked on the bell icon a long while ago. This film shows how much this channel has improved over the past years and how much effort you have put in making it better and better. Congrats from a huge fan from Hungary and cheers to Suzanne as well.
I enjoy the idea as well. Problem is, its only possible to have them on a wall. So even if you fly in the middle of the plane in business, there is no place to put those virtual windows. And i dont even start on economy.
Male Warace Battlefield play4f That’s a joke right..... It’s either virtual windows or no windows, he’s in the middle seat. Or, in this case, the middle suite.
I love how excited you are to fly. I’m the same way! Your videos are awesome! From another aviation geek, and someone who’s dying to fly in first class, keep them coming!
Hey Jeb, great video! I can only hope to one day fly in such amazing luxury! I particularly liked seeing the take off and landing. Huge aviation enthusiast here! 😀
The best seat I've had has been business class with American/British. That happened once and I felt like royalty. I don't know if I'd know how to act in first class, much less this scenario. Thanks for allowing to live vicariously through your review.
Hi Jeb, this was a most enjoyable time spent with you as you explored the brilliant Emirates 1st class trip. It took me back 2 years when I was literally the last passenger to board the flight from Dubai to Manchester. I had a particularly cantankerous traveling companion who was playing, "No Speaks". On the way from Johannesburg to Dubai, there was an indulged little boy squealing and shouting his head off, while both his mother and nanny looked on and smiled. Economy class was subjected to this racket for hours, on and off. As we were arriving in Dubai, I THOUGHT a prayer, and humphed, "You know what, Lord? ( Drumming of fingers) I don't think there are any " little princes" up in Business Class." I then had to endure a couple more hours of the silent treatment during the lay-over, before our flight to Manchester boarded. When I eventually gave the attendant my passport, she looked at me and smiled sublimely. "Judith, you have been upgraded to Business Class!" Oh my word! The bliss of that totally unexpected blessing. Like you, I snuggled into my gorgeously comfortable flat bed, and slept deeply for 5 hours. The cabin staff were most attentive. The food and service were excellent. The whole experience was a gift to me that I shall remember for the rest of my days. I love Emirates and always fly with them. I am a big fan of your flight experiences. Thank you. Kindest regards Judith
I love Emirates, even though I've only flown economic with them, they were so stellar in all aspects and got rid of some nervousness I had about flying in the last several years. Restored my joy in flying, I became a frequent flyer with Emirates.
Man I feel like the decor of this suite is a personification of what Emirates really is. Arabian opulence. Is not really the classiest decor or the most sophisticated but it is who they are as a brand. Even though it's not suitable to my taste, it's still pretty cool.
Being inside the bicycle industry for over 30 years since the late 70s I was constantly flying around the world mostly in business class in the 80s, 90s til the early 2000s. I found you and your video to be extremely interesting . You are like me who loves to fly long distances enjoying every button and feature there is at or near your seat. I love how you are so enthusiastic about it all. That's all me. Some people could care less... Great work great video. I love at the end how the male steward tried his best to be your friend, HA HA HA HA ha ha ha.. But that's OK, these guys know how to take care of you, as it is a very tough job. Bottom Line,,, you revived some of my best flight experiences I ever had on first class with Singapore airlines. Back in the day, Singapore was the best of the best in the world when it came to first & business class. Of course it was all on 747 jumbo jets.
It really seems like Emirates is the airline to pick if you want the best product in the sky. Its always good to see videos like this so us mere mortals who will probably never get to fly on anything beyond the crappy seats in the back can see just how good it can get. (the closest I have ever come to an Emirates plane is watching one out the window of the airport while waiting to get on a crappy little Australian Domestic Qantas plane)
Brilliant review Jeb. I know a year has passed since you posted this but I only just discovered it. The three prong headphone jack should work with your BOSE set as I’m pretty sure the smaller middle prong is just for the power that makes the airline provided versions noise cancelling. Hope that helps 🙌
I think one thing on my bucket list is flying first class on a Gulf carrier, not to any particular destination though, just to fly on them when I get the chance.
I would have loved to have seen the bar area. I’m assuming the 777 has one? The only times I’ve flown Emirates first was on the 777 but the old one, the last time before having kids 7 years ago. It’s great to see the update as I always felt that the A380 business was comparable to the old 777.
I so enjoy your videos. For someone who does not get to travel as much as I would love to due to illness, watching your videos gives me a small taste of the things I love. Thank you for that
Heather J Same! I’ll never get to to fly like this and recently started watching videos of people flying in these fancy types of planes! Living vicariously through these people!
@Jeb Brooks Thank you for bringing these videos to all of us. This can help with which flights, which airlines, to and fro. You've got an amazing job & are truly blessed to work in travel journalism.
11:53 I actually prefer the older ones because if I sit next to my friends in first class in the middle seats, then we can just join the seats together, there is, what we call, a "partition" that separates the two seats for privacy. But I like that one, just because I am a quite social person.
WOW! I'm so jealous & I'm not a jealous person.I love your unabashed enthusiasm for flying. I didn't think anyone else enjoyed flying as much as I did. This was a super fantastic suite, truly a game-changer experience and I think you presented it very very well. If I had to choose one thing I like the best probably that comfy seat that turns into a bed and the lighting oh and I like the seclusion and privacy too oh and the champagne oh and the onboard shower and the PJs and the nice polite staff. Obviously it's impossible to pick one thing. Very entertaining video thank you again for such a great trip!
Quite a luxe experience. The suite was incredible, and the service spectacular. The food looked spectacular, too. Have you posted the inflight dining menu anywhere?
Never flew higher than economy class, but I do not mind the couple of extra hours it takes for me to fly from Australia to South Africa. I did the Sydney to Dubai flight a year or so ago on their A380 and it was amazing. Even in Economy, I had room to spare and I'm a reasonably big guy. The other airlines our of Aus, I feel like a sardine. Emirates gets my vote.
Indeed back to the real world 🙂. I was smiling the entire time looking at this video. Anyone that can experience that level of luxury in the sky and not be excited as us is pathetic. Great video bro
Right? Just got into travel vlogs because they take me places and show me things that I know I'll never be able to afford, and his are some of the best, he just makes me happy.
I just found your channel and I really enjoyed the video. I had to chuckle at the smile that NEVER left your face. I now have a new item on my bucket list!
Great video Jeb! Just one thing to point out regarding the headphone jack. Even though it has three prongs, I believe you can plug your own headphones into one of the holes and still get stereo sound. This is something that I've seen on more and more planes recently. Worth trying next time!
I’ve been in both first class seats, new and old, and this new 777 seat is way better and actually worth what they charge for the seat. There is much more space, luxury and privacy in this new cabin in comparison to the old first class seat.
Oh my god I absolutely love this video and honest to god Jeb, I have never laugh so much, you are definitely so entertaining and a great big smile 😃 I am definitely gonna try this flight flying from Munich to Perth!
I’m a real fan of yours, Jeb, and I too am beyond sleep when it comes to air travel. I’m due to experience the new 777 first class offering from Emirates, travelling from DXB-STN having (hopefully) flown to DXB from BKK in first class on A380... COVID-19 allowing? I shall be testing everything...😂😎🙏 Thank you for your excellent reports...
I do enjoy as much watching this video as you enjoy the EMIRATES Flight. It is great awesome with all the cosiness and comfort. Friendly cabin crews and perfect inflight service.
I’ve flown etihad’s apartment, which I chose because I liked the aesthetic and space more than Emirates a380. This is really nice though - I’d love to try this and compare to the Etihad apartment!
So your reports serve a “Huge”need for those of us that are unable to fly due to medical circumstances . Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou coming from one airline geek 🤓 to another!
I just stumbled across your channel, one of the neatest videos I have ever seen. I have never seen an airline like that or a flight like that! Really fun video to watch 😊
This video is great! In the past year, I decided I was only going to fly Delta First Class because flying cross-country can be a cramped and numbing experience. Now I am envious and wish that I could get that kind of travel experience. . . tell me, how much did that cost?
Great video, Jeb. I was thoroughly entertained the entire time. Not only have you inspired me to fly Emirates First Class but to also purchase a lottery ticket too. You've really captured all the fine details--both within the cabin and the presentation of courses. The food looked delicious. Don't ever lose your wonderful sense of humour. This is the first video of yours that I have had the opportunity to stumble upon. . . so it looks like I'll be watching a few more this evening. Spot on with your editing. Thanks, Darryl
I love how much you live flying as I do as well. I would flip out as well if I was able to fly in a suite with Emirates. Awesome video and awesome channel
That was amazing Jeb, I would definitely love to fly with emirates first class and you caused me to dizzy and crazy when you were jumping around in the suite that i would call like a smaller version of a hotel bedroom.
this makes me feel soo excited for when I go on holiday. I am flying premium but I just love a long haul flight because I love the process of it including the airport.
I am living the high life through Jeb’s eyes now. 😛 In 2011, I flew the Emirates A380 from JFK to Dubai, was the best experience ever. Love your channel man. Awesome documentary 🤣
The pandemic got me missing travel so much I'm watching first class airplane videos of a flight that I will never go on nor could I ever afford that it's fun to dream
It’s so cool to see how far aircraft have come it makes me emotional and it makes me imagine how far we can go in 10 years and like delta says you’re vids just keep climbing 😅
These videos are incredible. Found your Zephyr video by mistake one day and have been glued ever since. You just seem so enthusiastic, passionate and genuine! Rare these days!
Emirates, Etihad & Qatar three major players changing the whole flying concept and raising the benchmark constantly. Their global coverage is phenomenal and European and American operators can only play catch-up. There was a time when European and American operators ruled the world but that was all in the last millennium. Global trade demanded new travel challenges and Middle East based operators altered their strategies carefully where western operators were still stuck in aristocratic syndrome and even now losing the battle to low cost operators. These Middle East based operators are giving us better options for our money, imagine if we were still stuck within the choice of old Lufthansa/Air France/British Airways/American Airlines and their traditional first class and had to pay the same £6K/£7K for a first class trip. It will be interesting to see where this industry go in next ten years time in terms of comfort and customer service. Thank you.
right on point! i couldn't have said it any better myself. only to think i have been on the 777 a good seven times to use my usual crammed economy class! are you telling that suite is on a plane like seriously????? will they allow me to at least just get in there and have a view of it???
Love the new suite on emirates 777. Too bad not many route offer with this new suite. Would love to try it out in future if got the chance. Keep posting good video, love your video and stay safe for now.
Jeb, when you started jumping up and down in your suite you looked like such a kid it made me laugh! Glad you had so much fun! I probably would have fallen asleep just from sheer exhaustion. The food looked delicious! Looks like you could have a dance party in there, lol!
I've watched all the EK game changer first class youtube videos and by far I've enjoyed/learned the most from yours so thank you for posting/editing/sharing this video! Your genuine excitement clearly showed through this video and at the end of the day was quite entertaining!
I watch these because I've only been on one plane trip in my 49 years, and at this point, won't likely again. I enjoy seeing your trips on the fancy planes.
I think this new design has pushed the threshold of how a 1st class cabin should be. I think it should still feel like a 1 st class cabin on an aircraft purely for the experience , If you start making the cabins look like someones luxury lounge, it tkaes the whole idea of being in an aicraft with so much luxury to enjoy.
Thank you for posting the menus from so many of the airlines you get to fly on...I watch these mostly for the food (and living vicariously) and I’m a menu-reading ADDICT, so I love that you do this!!
So wait, what, you were in the middle of the plane so they made 'fake' windows with screens looking outside so everyone gets a window seat? What an absolutely awesome idea!!!!!
@spiderman no way home< wow!!
@The Roast Beef what if it is nighttime
@AvTweet I honestly am not sure if this will be approved by safety regulators considering windows are crucial during emergencies as they allow crew and PAX to see whether there is a fire in order to decide which side/doors to evacuate from. The cabin crew member helping with the filming, that made for one amazing trip report, wow, awesome video.
@CuppaJoe1 0.01
@Abraham Parappallil he said that it was nice of them to help
What do you mean?. This was recorded and published with the consent and full support of the referred airline management.

And it's funny because I guarantee someone somewhere has made an adapter.
this dudes so wholesome. the sheer joy of this guy on planes is unmatched
Love the fact that the flight attendant was so willing to help you with your production. She was great!
opugilist 🙄
I became so obsessed with watching these Emirates flight videos and had to stop cause I realized how sad I was making myself! Still in college and working hard so I can afford to fly in first class or at least business. It’s one of my dreams
Don’t give up the dream
@Debunk Lies You become a better person by reminding people how better you are than them.
I am in college but I don't dream of this, I dream of becoming a better person and having a good person beside me to travel with. It's the experience that matters!
They are addictive 😂
You'll get there, with a whole lot more sacrifice!
I’m a frequent flyer with Emirates but I’ve never been lucky enough to fly their amazing first class, I fly Emirates business and love the 777/300er and A380 upper deck business products, thanks for sharing this amazing experience Jeb. Fantastic Vlog and review.

This has been quite an accurate review of the current status of Emirates, and also comparatively speaking to the old regard great work sir

I like this guy, he represents what’s good about the USA - enthusiastic, determined and full of humour and clearly a canny businessman. Also like his Brietling !
@Nelly wow what an original and edgy take from someone who’s definitely been to America before
Seriously what's good about the USA? You mean being entitled? What a stretch!
@Glenn 🙁
It’s a Rolex “BATMAN”, not a Brietling
KZclip offered me to watch this older video, surely because it knows how much I love your videos -yes, I even clicked on the bell icon a long while ago. This film shows how much this channel has improved over the past years and how much effort you have put in making it better and better. the virtual window concept is genius....wow....
I enjoy the idea as well. Problem is, its only possible to have them on a wall. So even if you fly in the middle of the plane in business, there is no place to put those virtual windows. And i dont even start on economy.

@Lego & Entertainment Regular windows are significantly more expensive
It precludes double beds though
I love how excited you are to fly. I’m the same way! Your videos are awesome! From another aviation geek, and someone who’s dying to fly in first class, keep them coming!
This is definitely a “bucket list” kind of experience!
@Matvei Soykin shidddddd
It's like $20000
Hey Jeb, great video! I can only hope to one day fly in such amazing luxury! I particularly liked seeing the take off and landing. Huge aviation enthusiast here! 😀

It is awesome to see that someone has taken the 1st class suite concept and actually made a "suite" out of it.
Literally never seen a man so happy to get on a plane...
Then I’ve never seen a man using a trampoline 30,000 feet in the air
Hi Jeb, this was a most enjoyable time spent with you as you explored the brilliant Emirates 1st class trip.

This is incredible. I've been dying to fly Emirates on an A380 before they're phased out. One day.

Jonathan Wilson I’ve been on a bad domestic plane. Got these cheese slices.. wth
@Rat Face They are my airline of choice these days for the Australia / NZ route, excellent business class and often much cheaper than the competition
Jonathan Wilson Their economy and business are not really impressive and in my opinion kinda lacking.
Brilliant review Jeb. I know a year has passed since you posted this but I only just discovered it. @Jeb Brooks
Thank you for bringing these videos to all of us. This can help with which flights, which airlines, to and fro. You've got an amazing job & are truly blessed to work in travel journalism.
What a great video. And Jeb has so much enthusiasm and good humor. This was a joy to watch!

I enjoy flying a lot !!!!!!!! What careers would you advise for someone like us.
I ageee so count me in the club of people who love flying. I always feel like a kid on new planes😍😍😍😍

That first class product looks simply breath taking, I would love the opportunity of experiencing that. Well done Emirates and a great video Jeb👍👍👍👍👍
The new first cabin is much nicer use of space than the old fist cabin that I experienced about 4 years ago between Melbourne and Singapore.
Indeed back to the real world 🙂.
I was smiling the entire time looking at this video. Anyone that can experience that level of luxury in the sky and not be excited as us is pathetic. Great video bro
You're like a kid in a candy store. Love it.
I love it.
I live out my fantasy flights through you
Right? Just got into travel vlogs because they take me places and show me things that I know I'll never be able to afford, and his are some of the best, he just makes me happy.

So envious, looks amazing.
Who else is watching this with 7 dollars in your checking account?
me😂
😂😅😢😢 me too….
Ha I got 17!
Less. Spent it all on my cats
Meeee!
Oh my god I absolutely love this video and honest to god Jeb, I have never laugh so much, you are definitely so entertaining and a great big smile 😃 I am definitely gonna try this flight flying from Munich to Perth!
Fantastic review. That suite looks other worldly incredible
Wow! your best video yet! looked like an amazing experience and great that the crew joined in.
Dennis & Jeb, my favourite men in the sky.... keep it coming guys, love your work!
Unfortunately they are rude with filming with almost EVERYONE (except known people)
Jeb should try the A380 First Class like Dennis did
As Dennis would say, those are various “potions and lotions...”

I loved how you shared this experience. Totally approachable!
I do enjoy as much watching this video as you enjoy the EMIRATES Flight. It is great awesome with all the cosiness and comfort. Friendly cabin crews and perfect inflight service.
Well this is the closest I’ll get to first class and it looks awesome. Love it. 🌹
Awesome. I have never seen an air flight like that. What an experience.
This was INCREDIBLE!!!!!
Thank you for taking us all with you! (New to your channel, LOVE it!)
I’ve flown etihad’s apartment, which I chose because I liked the aesthetic and space more than Emirates a380. This is really nice though - I’d love to try this and compare to the Etihad apartment!
I had a blast watching this. I wish domestic First class was like this. Your vlog was excellent, well done and informative. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Bravo!
This is incredible, I’m impressed, but still terrified of flying actually terrified of crashing
Your reviews are so genuine/down to earth. Its good and refreshing :)
That was such a cool flight attendant though! “He drank all the wine”😂
Hahaha! That was funny!
This video is great! In the past year, I decided I was only going to fly Delta First Class because flying cross-country can be a cramped and numbing experience. Now I am envious and wish that I could get that kind of travel experience. . . tell me, how much did that cost?
I would definitely pay the extra for this first class. I always fly first anyway but this is definitely first class.
I ALWAYS get a window seat. Unfortunately it is from the outside looking in.
Same here Michael. Same here. 🤣🤣
Thanks,
Darryl
The crew was more than accommodating, and they even seemed to enjoy their jobs and helping you with your video. Great video.
I think the new cabin looks way better. But both are amazing since it’s in the sky.
You’re enthusiasm for flying is contagious.
this makes me feel soo excited for when I go on holiday.
What a great experience for this adorable and positive man. And the flight attendant was hilarious!
They had to call security to get me out. A beautiful experience on Emirates. Getting ready to do it again but in a Residence. Awesome video Jeb.
I love the flight attendant's sense of humor!
The pandemic got me missing travel so much I'm watching first class airplane videos of a flight that I will never go on nor could I ever afford that it's fun to dream
Thanks for sharing your amazing experience Jeb!!! 🇺🇸 🇦🇫
It’s so cool to see how far aircraft have come it makes me emotional and it makes me imagine how far we can go in 10 years and like delta says you’re vids just keep climbing 😅
I had the First Class in the A380 twice with having a shower in 40.000 ft height and the bar in the back of the upper deck. That's simply amazing.
Wow! Such Luxury !🥂 Can’t wait to fly Emirates 🇦🇪 in their new First Class especially on a 777-300ER my favorite Boeing jet!!
Love it! ❤️
These videos are incredible. Found your Zephyr video by mistake one day and have been glued ever since. You just seem so enthusiastic, passionate and genuine! Rare these days!
Wow! Thanks so much! Glad you’re enjoying the videos!
Ceiling to floor wall... wow, that's a REAL SUITE... unlike other first class seating arrangements...
Love the new suite on emirates 777.
Too bad not many route offer with this new suite.
Would love to try it out in future if got the chance.
Keep posting good video, love your video and stay safe for now.
Emirates loves to create luxury in the sky, it’s thrilling to see how creative they got with this one
One can only dream about having such a luxurious trip!
I always love to see the food and how the passengers enjoy it
I had to change flights in Paris Charles De Gaulle airport. I think I broke the sound barrier I was running so quickly.
Hehe dats my hometown airport. I always depart or arrive here but luckily I **NEVER** transfer here.
I did that in jfk
This really made me giggle!!
Ashtail Gaming I mean the sound barrier
Sanic was a good teacher
Jeb, when you started jumping up and down in your suite you looked like such a kid it made me laugh! Glad you had so much fun! I probably would have fallen asleep just from sheer exhaustion. The food looked delicious! Looks like you could have a dance party in there, lol!
That's incredible. I've their 380 first class on a video. They hit what first class is out of the ball park for sure.
I've watched all the EK game changer first class youtube videos and by far I've enjoyed/learned the most from yours so thank you for posting/editing/sharing this video! Your genuine excitement clearly showed through this video and at the end of the day was quite entertaining!
Wow! Thanks so much for your kind words!!
When emirates first class is nicer than your house
Wow, who knew there was such an amazing experience out there waiting to be had?!
Thank you for posting the menus from so many of the airlines you get to fly on...I watch these mostly for the food (and living vicariously) and I’m a menu-reading ADDICT, so I love that you do this!!
Brussels is so beautiful... that seat in first class is amazing, thanks for sharing, greetings from Mexico!
