You're full of typical balkan upbringing, it's not fact based it's just "make up whatever you think is cool logic". I heard Bulgarians claim Alexander the Great was Bulgarian, I heard Albanians say the same or that his mother was... because Alexander is masculinity. But truth is, he was Greek, the bulwark against Islam was Roman(Romanized greeks) and Albanians haven't really done much else than brag about made up stuff.

Leave the judgment to him. Go see their photos, their paintings and how much they pay for film production to change the personality of Jesus, once they made him gay, another they made his servants love sex with babies. God built the church and no body, even evil itself, can't destroy it. but what surprised me, you can't see a single voice from both churches rise up and say a word in defense of Jesus Chris (money talk). Are you serious? The Septuagint is not an Orthodox thing, it was Alexandrian Jews who translated their Scriptures (Old Testament) into Greek because Alexandria was hellenized. Western and Eastern Christians were united until 1054. They didn't have different Bibles. Actually, for four centuries, Western Christians used Greek in liturgy. They then replaced Greek with Latin not to challenge the East but because it was the language of the Western part of the Roman Empire. while in the Eastern one Greek was predominant. It had nothing to do with any sacred dimension or with political rivalry. It's only after 1054 that the words Catholic and Orthodox started defining Western and Eastern Churches the way we still see it today. Never forget Ekklesia Katholes in Greek is Ecclesia Catholica in Latin And the Orthodox Church too is called Catholic.

Well thats not too surprising as the Romans was an inspirational source to early Islam, when they looked around there was a Persian and a Roman Empire, the latter who lasted for much much longer. The way Roman("Greek") sing their church songs inspired both western Catholic church and the new faith in the east, Islam. At this time the Romans was to others an ancient realm of both envy a much as a awe inspiring realm. You can hear similarities in the way they sing, both these old Roman hymns and Islamic chants from the mosques.

I'm Bulgarian. My grandfather was a priest, and my grandmother used to work in the church as well. I loved it when the church hoir was rehearsing, and I enjoyed the balcony in the church with so many icons and colorful light coming from the stained glass windows.... I wasn't allowed in that place as a kid( the balcony), but I went there anyway, until one day I was scared from one effigy of crucifixion that looked so real... :)

Well thats not too surprising as the Romans was an inspirational source to early Islam, when they looked around there was a Persian and a Roman Empire, the latter who lasted for much much longer. The way Roman("Greek") sing their church songs inspired both western Catholic church and the new faith in the east, Islam.
At this time the Romans was to others an ancient realm of both envy a much as a awe inspiring realm.
You can hear similarities in the way they sing, both these old Roman hymns and Islamic chants from the mosques.

I'm Bulgarian. My grandfather was a priest, and my grandmother used to work in the church as well. I loved it when the church hoir was rehearsing, and I enjoyed the balcony in the church with so many icons and colorful light coming from the stained glass windows.... I wasn't allowed in that place as a kid( the balcony), but I went there anyway, until one day I was scared from one effigy of crucifixion that looked so real...

Faith is comparable to a belief in better weather the next day. They make observations and therefore they assume that it will get better. This belief is currently not falsifiable, but it is well-founded, even if not proven.
Neither of us knows if aliens exist. The probability is high, but the probability that humans have been abducted is not high.
But religion is not common like the belief in alien abduction. Religion is part of the human species. It always has been and it always will be.
Unfortunately, it is also not scientific when you dismiss the observation of billions of people as a fantasy. It has reasons. You have apparently not investigated them, but take a meta point of view, which is obviously not justified.
People's faith is genuine and has rational reasons. People have spiritual experiences that are real to them. They have good reason to believe in a God. The question is what do you need to believe in a God? A scientific experiment?
There is NO good convincing evidence that gods exist in reality. All these various beliefs seem to be holdovers from our primitive and mythological past. Can you demonstrate the truth of your claim?
