I watched it today and I thought it was an entertaining movie. It has a lot of heart and it didn't really set up a bazillion things for sequels. I really hope they keep this cast in the future because I think they mash really well together. There's absolutely nothing wrong with having an amazing time at the theatre and my expectations were really low for this one 😃! Glad to be surprised by how good it was.
I feel sorry for Zachary Levi because he is so passionate about his role in Shazam, but it is unfortunate that the universe is getting rebooted soon.. anyway best of luck for him!

If Shazam movie is his own dceu thing, maybe Shazam is not connected to the flash movie meaning Shazam is not the same continuity with the Snyder cut and the flash movie, maybe the Shazam movies is connected to the justice league 2017 and black Adam.

This movie was so fun, 7/10 for me. Very enjoyable and I liked the comedy. Not as good as the first but still a fun movie and it had lots of action. I cried at a few parts. I love that ending, I won’t spoil who shows up for anyone who is reading this and haven’t seen the movie yet, but I loved it. And Rachel Zegler is so pretty, I loved her in the movie

The scope of this move is much more vast and all-encompassing than the first one with a lot more of a grim tone as well, but still well balanced by much needed levity! Can't wait to see the Shazamily in action one more time!
Okay, I got to say: this trailer has got me so hyped up about the movie, Shazam! Fury of the Gods is going to be absolutely incredible and way more powerful than the first one. Just saw the movie. I lived the first one, but this one is going to be loved even by those unimpressed by the first one. A Superman movie couldn't surpass this. I actually cried a couple times and i never do that. The end sets up a perfect promise for at least a third movie. I think Zachari Levi will be playing Shazam many more times, even in a team movie.

I saw the poster for this movie when I went to go see Avatar: The Way of the Water in January, and this trailer last night when I went to go see Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. And, now that I’ve watched the first movie on HBO Max, I’m definitely excited for this movie! As I expected, the first movie was more humorous because Billy was new to becoming a superhero. He was just getting his powers and was trying to figure out how they work, and so were his foster siblings. Now, this movie looks a lot more serious and action packed because he and his siblings are now a lot more prepared to face evil. This is gonna be good!
Feel bad for Zachary Levi for not getting enough credit for his performance.....he is a versatile actor who can make you laugh even in serious scenes....this reboot is going to be epic.

Just watched shazam 2. It was alot of fun. Well written and directed and all around fun family movie. Way better than any superhero movie I've seen since Spiderman no way home. Zac Levi was great... the kid that played Freddie did amazing imo.

I might be wrong bc I've never read the comics but in the first movie it appears that his foster siblings are taking the place of the wizards who died. "The thrones of our brothers and sisters await" - wizard shazam. With that in mind, I think he's limited with power sharing and it seems that it didn't weaken either him or them.

@Joseph Williams I haven’t heard anything regarding peace maker but just google “Is Shazam (or aqua-man) canceled” and all signs point to yes. It makes no sense to have either around. Now since suicide squad is James Gunn directed, it’s possible that peacemaker fits his new vision… No offense to them but Shazam and Aquaman wouldn’t remain on after their sequels if Henry Cavill was let go…

Just watched shazam 2. It was alot of fun. Well written and directed and all around fun family movie. Way better than any superhero movie I've seen since Spiderman no way home. Zac Levi was great... the kid that played Freddie did amazing imo.
Yes jack Dylan grazer (Freddy actor) is so talented. So glad they gave him more screen time in this one

Question, can someone explain Shazam's power sharing with the rest of his family to me? Are the rest of his family as powerful as he is? Did Shazam become weaker by sharing his powers? If he doesn't become weaker, then is there any limit to how many people he can give powers to? Thanks in advance.
I might be wrong bc I've never read the comics but in the first movie it appears that his foster siblings are taking the place of the wizards who died. "The thrones of our brothers and sisters await" - wizard shazam. With that in mind, I think he's limited with power sharing and it seems that it didn't weaken either him or them.
I feel sorry for Zachary Levi because he is so passionate about his role in Shazam, but it is unfortunate that the universe is getting rebooted soon.. anyway best of luck for him!
