@Jay Hughes The difference is Shaq wasn't scared to get fouled. He still scored. He still went out and gave it 100%. Ben doesn't even look at the basket. He barely scores.
@Christopher Thomsonto be fair though shaq has openly said if you aren’t a top ten player he doesn’t know who you are. Shaq’s basketball knowledge isn’t that deep, he’s 100% right here though
But you expect every player to have a superstar mentality. That’s why they’re in the NBA. Ben Simmons has all the talent in the world. He should be better.
@Big T Okay. Many people can use both hands in sports, almost always one hand predominates. I don't think Simmons' problem is which hand he uses. His mind isn't strong enough, it seems. Still, he is a very valuable player.
@Kenrick Eason Tim Duncan was a bucket and could get just as many assists as a guy like curry and half twice as many boards as Ben and lock the paint down and draw double teams and not to mention a different breed don’t disrespect that man wit Ben Simmons name 😂
@CannonMan67 draymond green at least tries to shoot the ball. he drives to the basket and when he needs to he attempts 3's. draymond isnt getting ben simmons money. draymond also isnt suppose to be the 3rd best player on the team.
KD and Kyrie really made us forget Ben was like this for a month. Ben's also too big and strong to be playing John Stockton style of basketball, and even then John averaged like 15 a game and 15 assists.
@Kenny Hudson the percentage players shoot from 3 and 16-23 feet (long two’s) is negligible on average, and the 3 is worth more. It’s only a low percentage shot relative to shots at the rim or in the paint, and even then it’s worth more.
@n k yeah but only recently with desean Watson have players got guaranteed money like the nba gives out . He gets 175 guaranteed . Ben will be making over 40 million in one season a few years from now with his contract. It’s insane how bad he played the nba
How Ben responded with "I know I need to get buckets.." says it all. Scoring at the cup should never feel like an obligation for a 6'10 forward but always be a joy
I feel like at this point it's a game within a game for him. How many ways can he avoid scoring to annoy people that want him to score? He'll go out and get you 10 assists and 10 boards and play defense just so coaches wont bench him. But he's just out there to annoy people at this point.
He’s what, year 5 in the league and he STILL doesn’t work on shooting in practice or at home….and no one expects him to, so he doesn’t. I’ve never seen a professional athlete coddled more than Ben Simmons. They act like he’s an infant or something
Watching Simmons reminds me why I love Giannis. A lot of the same shortcomings but all the heart in the world to still put himself on the free throw line, keep working through his struggles from the perimeter. He's taken on those holes in his game head on.
@jsb like muggsy bogues, michael adams, nate robinson, calvin murphy, john stockton & isiah "zeke" thomas: tough little dudes with big hearts who where respected!!
Even though he did not score a point, he contributed with a lot of rebounds and assists but you still have to score a little. With him not scoring puts a lot of pressure of the other 4 guys out there.
Kenny was truly being in denial here. This is what happens when I don’t want to admit openly that you’re wrong. Barkley and Shaq were saying Ben could have done more. The Nets needed him to score!
@MaskedSuperstar have you herd of inflation? Also the nba makes more money so the players do too. Jordan made 30,000,000 the next highest guy that got paid made 14,000,000 was Horace grant. The next closest after that was Reggie at 11,000,000 To compare. That's like this year it's steoh curry at 48,000,000 John wall at 47,000,000. But it would be like curry making 94,000,000
It really seems like Boston loves going to Brooklyn. We’ve had some interesting matchups over the last 3 years, I’d be nice to see more of these series battles.
Like Kobe said, to open up the offense, you’ve got to be a credible scoring threat. If you don’t even attempt to score, the defense is always on an advantage.
@Patrick Thomas Brady Yes, they amounted to 26 points, likely higher. It really isn't complicated and I do not understand why you all get so worked up over Simmons. Nobody here is saying he is playing well. Just a step back
@JackFury no one said they’re worthless, he asked what did his 13 assists amount to and the answer he got was someone stating the obvious 26 points and calling what he said was dumb, but what chuck, shaq, OP’s comment and the other commenter are saying is his 13 assists are hollow when you don’t even attempt to score and finish with 0 points, not worthless
@Jose nunez you say that, and then this reply section proves it’s not obvious to everyone and that a lot of people don’t understand the nuances of basketball except for the box score
Kenny is doing his best to look at the positive contributions but Shaq & Chuck are looking at the responsibilities of a STAR player…don’t argue with him Chuck 😂😂
@Arthur Trommel 30 years on from 1993, D Booker, CP3 and D Ayton (2023 equivalent KJ, Danny Ainge and Barkley) likely to miss playoffs. Majerle Sportsbar PHX? Led 2-0 vs Giannis '21, lost 4-2 bad
I think even if he’s getting fouled and missing them, he is at least creating a foul against the other team and makes it harder to defend based off foul management.
Love the commentary today. All analysts had solid points. Great constructive criticism on Simmons. He’s got to look to score and build his confidence during the reg season for the playoffs 100%
Having bad issues with my own back due to overextending my strength I can understand his trepidation. Mine was just about better and I overdid it. I am so mad at myself for not being safe and now I am sorry😢
Kenny's point is coming from a guy who played in the NBA as a role player almost all his career...so 13 ast and 9 rebs are definitely good stats for him...while Shaq and Chuck's point is coming from.when they dominate games almost every night...simmons contract is a contract for franchise players and he is averaging 7ppg for the season...3 attempts in this game without KD...let that sink in...I mean I would even respect him if he went like 1-15 or 0-15 something and lost big coz you see he is trying...
@Gordon Love "4th option on an NBA championship team and you disrespect him" - 4th option BUT Kenny PROJECTS himself as one of the COGS of the team. A BUS DRIVER WANNABE. Remember when he said he is one of the drivers of Houston Championship team? If he REALLY KNOWS his place; NO ONE would CLOWN him. (Even Shaq and Chuck makes fun of him when he does it)
Us Sixers sitting back laughing at people actually thinking Ben has only been like this since the Hawks series. HES BEEM LIKE THIS FOE HIS ENTIRE CAREER!!! ESPECIALLY COME PLAYOFF TIME, HE REALLY GETS EXPOSED THEN.
Ben Simmons has ONLY 1 freethrow made in two months. ONE. This stat is nearly statistically impossible in the history of the NBA unless you are absolutely avoiding contact. He is refusing to score and his defense is not great, he had only ONE block last month, while still commuting too many fouls.
He's not refusing to score, he's refusing to take a shot unless he knows that he's going to make it, and he's scared for the most part that he'll make any shot besides a dunk or layup, which is why he won't take shots at the rim in which he'll be contested cause if he's fouled and doesn't make the shot he has to go to the free throw line and we know what horrors are there for him
@TrueGuardify Regardless, they were smart to get rid of him. Looks like he was on the way out whether he played or otherwise. They were fed up with him too.
What’s also an issue is people forget that drawing fouls is not only about making the ft’s, it puts pressure on the defense, creates foul trouble which can result in key opponents sitting down for long stretches and making a defense as a whole affraid to foul. Just be aggressive, he used to be able to dunk, drive etc with ease, he should be the spearhead in a team focused on fast breaks when he’s in the game. It’s bonkers what’s happening, it’s 100pct a mental issue which he doesn’t seem to be able to overcome (yet). It’s similar to amazing players having a devastating injury and never play the same after, not because they can’t, but the trust in their body and/or fear or what could happen. Hopefully Ben gets there one day, but it’s really concerning he had so much time to work through it and still has games like this. I’m also starting to think he’s just lost the love for the game too.
"he’s just lost the love for the game" dude never had it. the guy has played basketball his entire life and not once has he ever tried of actually improving his game. dude won't ever be able to "overcome" it. with how many years he's been in the league without improving you think he's gonna suddenly just change that? you can't teach heart.
Kenny Smith, a man who was known for being a perimeter scoring threat, telling 2 of the most dominant attack the rim players of all time about attacking the rim. It would be the same as Chuck telling Kenny about 3's.
Kennys insight is dead WRONG. a 0 point and 13 assist game is in most cases a net negative. Most of his assists are not from shot creation, but its just him swinging the ball around because he doesnt want to shoot or from stationary handoff passes. His 9 boards are also overrated, because most are just completely uncontested defensive boards. He is literally not doing much of anything, and in a game where you need to score 120 points to win, his 0 points and half empty assists literally mean next to nothing!
Thank you bro Kenny clearly looking at it from Role player stand point Shaq And Chuck tryna tell him like bro he has to score he’s the 2nd best player on the team
All Ben needed was to put up 12 points and they win this game. Even if he missed every free throw that is only 6 layups. 12 points, 9 rebounds and 13 assists is a good statline for a low scoring point guard, just look at Jason Kidd and Rajon Rondo. Neither of them were great scorers but they could at least be a threat with the ball in their hands.
@Rap yes but he has assists because he is passing up scoring the ball entirely. It's like good guards CREATE assists/shots by being a *SCORING THREAT* and passing the ball when it's optimal. He is passing the ball in situations where he should be *SCORING* so that assist is literally worthless is the point.
He had a total 13 assists in the game, that looks good if you don't know the details. Barkley's point was he already had 10 assists at the half, but at the more crucial 2nd half where he was supposed to step it up, he only had 3 assists...and still, zero points.
I agree that with Shaq and Charles. Thirteen rebounds and nine assists are good numbers but it's not enough. He needs to score consistently, otherwise his team is constantly playing four on five that end..
They are right Kenny. He had 10 assist at halftime and ended with thirteen assist 0 points. That’s not good . Going 0 for 3 is not being aggressive offensively and that’s what they need from Ben. They need this from Ben with Kevin Durant on the floor but especially when he’s not there
I understand the scoring but kenny is right in the sense any point guard would love those assists and rebounds. The best point guards ever averaged 10-11 assists a game.
@Spends Shanks He signed that 2yrs ago, that was what he was worth at the time. That was his market value. He isn't that guy anymore. You can't base expectations that you expect to be met on his salary, it has to be based on his actual ability & play. The guy already has the money, now the team has to worry about his play based on his role. Do the Nets force him to take 20 shots a game? No. You know why, because that's not his role.
@Wilson His salary has everything to do with what you should expect on the court. Look at the opinion GSW fans have of Poole after receiving that big extension versus before as a result. And from a logistics perspective, if I pay you more money, that means I can't pay other people more money, so I need you to perform at a high level taking up (30%?) of the salary cap.
Poor Ernie trying to get Shaq and Charles to stop clowning and commentate on the highlights. It's like a school teacher trying to get the class to settle down lol!!!😂🤣
Ben going to the rim would help slightly more but as a nets fan he’s been more then great for us , he’s maybe overly unselfish but it works for us because of kd and kyrie ..as far as I’m concerned great defense and having great vison they need to stop stepping on bens name like this … he’s fine the recipe has been working .. f a bucket when we winning games 💯💯
Kenny is truly showing the difference from a role players mentality and a superstar/star mentality.
@Jay Hughes You're joking right?
@Jay Hughes The difference is Shaq wasn't scared to get fouled. He still scored. He still went out and gave it 100%. Ben doesn't even look at the basket. He barely scores.
@Jay Hughes don’t say that as if Ben Simmons is better then Shaq. That’s the quickest way to prove you know nothing about basketball.
That “What’d ya say Chuck?” from Shaq never gets old😂😂
@samuelonthatop I am actually!
And you still had to edit your own comment
@Keron Windleythanks sherlock fixed a word for me you must be a college grad
@samuelonthatop Stinking game
ernie getting mad after makes it better😂😂 "watch the fricking game DUDE"
Say it again Chuck
Kenny: "Watch Russell Westbrook".
Charles: "Oh, lord".
🤣💀
Oh lord
Chuck hilarious 😂
Ernie is spot on. He doesn’t want to shoot free throws. He’s scared of attacking
@Val he is robbing the NBA
@Big T Okay. Many people can use both hands in sports, almost always one hand predominates.
I don't think Simmons' problem is which hand he uses. His mind isn't strong enough, it seems. Still, he is a very valuable player.
@Big Teah those player actually tried to develope he doesn’t.
It's sad...
@Michael Albertson supposedly Lebron James is actually left handed 🤷♂️
And I know Tristan thompson switched shooting hand mid nba career
Shaq and Charles in that GOAT mindset. Kenny in that G-league mindset.
🤣
wow
@Dante Griffin
Not YMCA 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
YMCA mindset
Kenny is an example of how you can be completely right and completely wrong about something
Kenny: "He played great defense, great passing."
Chuck: "Yep, that why you paid him 35 millions dollars so he can pass the ball around"
😂
@Kenrick Eason Tim Duncan was a bucket and could get just as many assists as a guy like curry and half twice as many boards as Ben and lock the paint down and draw double teams and not to mention a different breed don’t disrespect that man wit Ben Simmons name 😂
@CannonMan67 lol green isn’t a franchise player
@Justin Dminic lebron is a dribble dribble hold the ball for like 12 seconds then pass it last minute type of passer
@CannonMan67 draymond green at least tries to shoot the ball. he drives to the basket and when he needs to he attempts 3's. draymond isnt getting ben simmons money. draymond also isnt suppose to be the 3rd best player on the team.
@jimai808 Isiah Thomas got 2
Kenny speaking like a true role player.
*glorified role player
A true bus rider
Lol
Kenny is trippin
Can we just appreciate these guys commentary and chemistry? Feels really comfortable
People are down on Kenny's perspective, but the fact that they all find these different angles is part of why it's so good.
I mean they’ve been working together for like 20 years😂😂😂
Chuck hit the nail on the head. He is currently averaging 1.5 FTA and had 14 games with zero free throws.
You gotta give Ben a trigger warning before you start talking about free throws. Ben needs a safe space.
Charles “That’s not a man’s sweater”
Shaq “Thank you Chuck” 😂😂😂
KD and Kyrie really made us forget Ben was like this for a month.
Ben's also too big and strong to be playing John Stockton style of basketball, and even then John averaged like 15 a game and 15 assists.
@Brandon Reed It's the lowest percentage shot. Period. You can't debate that so I don't know why you tried.
@Kenny Hudson the percentage players shoot from 3 and 16-23 feet (long two’s) is negligible on average, and the 3 is worth more. It’s only a low percentage shot relative to shots at the rim or in the paint, and even then it’s worth more.
Hey, he was smart enough not to take the low percentage 3 shot.
Kenny's judging him as a role player, Chuck and Shaq are judging him as a star.
The problem is he’s getting paid as a star. If he’s getting paid like a star we are going to judge him as a star
He's neither one
@DRACO_1MILLION if he started his career with the golden state warriors this conversation would never take place
@n k yeah but only recently with desean Watson have players got guaranteed money like the nba gives out . He gets 175 guaranteed . Ben will be making over 40 million in one season a few years from now with his contract. It’s insane how bad he played the nba
simmons angers me greatly, i wish he would quit the nba a play elsewhere im sick of him and his weakness.
How Ben responded with "I know I need to get buckets.." says it all. Scoring at the cup should never feel like an obligation for a 6'10 forward but always be a joy
Man how you NOT score a point when Durant out, however I find it fascinating how many different ways he finds not to score
A few games ago, I saw a stat where he was 11 for 13 from the field.
I feel like at this point it's a game within a game for him. How many ways can he avoid scoring to annoy people that want him to score? He'll go out and get you 10 assists and 10 boards and play defense just so coaches wont bench him. But he's just out there to annoy people at this point.
Im Dead 🤣 (the Way you Said That)
Ben is still passing up lay ups!! That Atlanta series really took his heart.
That series & the philly fans snatched his heart.
@SunRae* ** he was not always like stop the cap
He’s what, year 5 in the league and he STILL doesn’t work on shooting in practice or at home….and no one expects him to, so he doesn’t. I’ve never seen a professional athlete coddled more than Ben Simmons. They act like he’s an infant or something
Exactly he was putting up like 25 a game
Kenny: Watch. Russell. Westbrook
Chuck: Oh Lord 🙄
😂😂😂😂
"35 million dollar to be passing the ball around" 🤣🤣🤣 Chuck is ruthless
I was rolling, chuck got no chillll
@1990758 the sad part is that he 100% cares about what people think. this is why he's afraid to shoot
😂
@Slickenz Mcglickenz and that’s okay to you?😭😭
Don’t matter. Still gettin da bag.. regardless of his stats he laughin his way to the bank
Shaq: " Don't argue with him Ernie, he's Kenny" 😂😂
you know you’re in the wrong if Charles and Shaq are in agreement against you
Ben Simmons: "I am not a good shooter, so rather than working on my shooting, I will just stop shooting."
"But we cannot negate the 15 great things that he did in this game"
They lost lost the game, Kenny...
Jason Kidd came is a great example of a player modifying his game over time. Simmons could learn a lot from studying that hall of fame PG.
He's no where near as good a Jason kidd and never will be.
Watching Simmons reminds me why I love Giannis. A lot of the same shortcomings but all the heart in the world to still put himself on the free throw line, keep working through his struggles from the perimeter. He's taken on those holes in his game head on.
@Luke Parodi 🎵true but how do u rapidly decline year after year. I wish I could be big just once, pesci😂😂😂
@Eric Rthe sad part he has a shooting coach😂😂😂
Dont compare simmons to giannis ever again
@jsb like muggsy bogues, michael adams, nate robinson, calvin murphy, john stockton & isiah "zeke" thomas: tough little dudes with big hearts who where respected!!
@DJ Benton 👍👍👍👍
Simmons made me laugh when he said I know who I am😂😂😂😂😂
He's joke 15ppg would be so effective for them even when KD is on the floor
What did he mean by that
ernie trying to hold this segment together with all his strength
Bruh Kenny trying to defend Simmons has me 💀
6:41 the shock Charles had for what Kenny said..he was like a old lady who just found out something shocking 😆
Even though he did not score a point, he contributed with a lot of rebounds and assists but you still have to score a little. With him not scoring puts a lot of pressure of the other 4 guys out there.
Simmons almost got that 0point double double
@pete smart ? You meant 3rd?
I noticed the same thing. probably never happened before
@AliensAreRealNoCap naww he had 4 points
Iman shumpert would be making millions in todays game bro was a menace on defense could dunk and hit 3s here and there
Still impressive.
That 40 point game he had in Utah feels like a fever dream now
Some people actually taking up for this guy it’s crazy. The only player that doesn’t have to score in the NBA it’s crazy
Chuck trying to slide that Big Ole Women joke 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Kenny was truly being in denial here. This is what happens when I don’t want to admit openly that you’re wrong. Barkley and Shaq were saying Ben could have done more. The Nets needed him to score!
“He had ZERO, FOUR, and THREE!” 😂
$35.45 million is Simmons' salary this season. Let that sink in.
He’s Robbin the NBA
You ever heard of John Wall LOL
@MaskedSuperstar have you herd of inflation? Also the nba makes more money so the players do too.
Jordan made 30,000,000 the next highest guy that got paid made 14,000,000 was Horace grant. The next closest after that was Reggie at 11,000,000
To compare. That's like this year it's steoh curry at 48,000,000 John wall at 47,000,000. But it would be like curry making 94,000,000
@MaskedSuperstarinflation and also incredibly larger markets. Not a fair comparison by any measure.
That “Oh Lord” from Chuck was pitch perfect
The way Kenny speaks on this shows why he was a role player
It really seems like Boston loves going to Brooklyn. We’ve had some interesting matchups over the last 3 years, I’d be nice to see more of these series battles.
🧹🧹🧹🧹🧹🧹
BBQ chicken or they face in the playoffs again...
People like Kenny Smith are exactly why Ben Simmons clearly feels entitled enough to have never gotten any better since his “rookie” year.
Man imagine if Ben was actually trying to score…he could be getting a triple double or two if he tried 😆
@Patrick Thomas Brady Nobody said Simmons was good. The point being assists are not worthless as someone tried to claim.
Settle down
@Jose nunez you say that, and then this reply section proves it’s not obvious to everyone and that a lot of people don’t understand the nuances of basketball except for the box score
Kenny: "Watch Russel Westbrook"
Charles: "Oh God"
Legend has it... Shaq's still laughin! Thanks for trying to keep t professional Uncle Ernie!
Chuck a big kid that sigh after he said oh lord killed me 🤣
Kenny is doing his best to look at the positive contributions but Shaq & Chuck are looking at the responsibilities of a STAR player…don’t argue with him Chuck 😂😂
This guy makes more than the league's reigning MVP
Chuck literally said pregame that simmons has to emerge as the second best player/option and this dude goes scoreless. Unreal. 🙈
Ben Simmons doesn't care about what Chuck says
@Arthur Trommel 30 years on from 1993, D Booker, CP3 and D Ayton (2023 equivalent KJ, Danny Ainge and Barkley) likely to miss playoffs. Majerle Sportsbar PHX? Led 2-0 vs Giannis '21, lost 4-2 bad
@RicoSuavePR He seems to be getting it and knowing it though.
Crazy how Ben still doesn't put it in practice.
not as "the second", Chuck said the "seKKend"
Shaq's laugh is so infectious.
Kenny said what I have been saying about Ben all season. “Watch Russell Westbrook”
Ben almost had a Zero Double 😂
I think even if he’s getting fouled and missing them, he is at least creating a foul against the other team and makes it harder to defend based off foul management.
Love the commentary today. All analysts had solid points. Great constructive criticism on Simmons. He’s got to look to score and build his confidence during the reg season for the playoffs 100%
PLAYOFFS?!?!
@DerickMagic They knew what they were getting into when they traded for him
Confidence should have already been built.
He won’t tho. We have seen this movie before…. With him nonetheless
You telling me Shaq gave some good commentary? Shaq's analysis: "Ben needs to score"
it's ok he is still in his rookie season
Having bad issues with my own back due to overextending my strength I can understand his trepidation. Mine was just about better and I overdid it. I am so mad at myself for not being safe and now I am sorry😢
6:42 chuck just looks at him flabbergasted, he knew this take was reaching and then some ☠️☠️
Geeez- his teammates reaction to passing up the shot says it all. Man I would be upset.
Not scoring a single point at 6’11 and getting all star minutes is crazy, there’s no way, no excuses
But even Kenny scored
Chuck and shaq drove the bus Kenny got driven
@Barry Mckockinner I think Ben Simmons Dont see scoring as being aggressive it’s a wrong mentality to have😭😭😭
@Zavier Sims Kenny was the toughest guy in the NBA. Even MJ was afraid to face him.
(Even Shaq and Chuck makes fun of him when he does it)
I’ve never seen somebody just fall apart mentally on the court like him. He looks scared whenever he gets the ball.
That’s so true about Ben being scared of going to the line.
Chuck - “ohhh lord” 😂😂😂
Us Sixers sitting back laughing at people actually thinking Ben has only been like this since the Hawks series. HES BEEM LIKE THIS FOE HIS ENTIRE CAREER!!! ESPECIALLY COME PLAYOFF TIME, HE REALLY GETS EXPOSED THEN.

Thanks for Harden.
- Sixers fans
Wow that's just a crazy stat. I still think Ben is talented but for 35m a year? 😆
@Coach Darren how u get 35 million to not be productive in any typa way tho what !?
@TrueGuardify Regardless, they were smart to get rid of him. Looks like he was on the way out whether he played or otherwise. They were fed up with him too.

Ernie being like a teacher telling chuck and shaq to watch the game
Basically if Simmons won't score a defense really only has to worry about 4 players. This totally changes the spacing on the court.
I swear Chuck and Shaq forget they're on TV sometimes 😭
Have anyone notice that he ran the same joke as he use to about San Antonio 😂
Kenny deserves a gold medal for his mental gymnastics in this segment
@MegaHariboboy or Chuck telling Kenny about weight loss 🤣🤣🤣
Kenny Smith, a man who was known for being a perimeter scoring threat, telling 2 of the most dominant attack the rim players of all time about attacking the rim. It would be the same as Chuck telling Kenny about 3's.
😅😅
His best performance yet
Man. Simmons almost got a double double with 0 points. Those are rare
As if he was doing something all Season 😂
When Chuck puts down his mug with a thud! lol 6:42 😂😂😂😂
Best commentary team ever😂😂😂

Thank you bro Kenny clearly looking at it from Role player stand point Shaq And Chuck tryna tell him like bro he has to score he’s the 2nd best player on the team
All Ben needed was to put up 12 points and they win this game. Even if he missed every free throw that is only 6 layups. 12 points, 9 rebounds and 13 assists is a good statline for a low scoring point guard, just look at Jason Kidd and Rajon Rondo. Neither of them were great scorers but they could at least be a threat with the ball in their hands.
Good analysis u are better than 99% of NBA analyst
@Rap yes but he has assists because he is passing up scoring the ball entirely.
It's like good guards CREATE assists/shots by being a *SCORING THREAT* and passing the ball when it's optimal.
He is passing the ball in situations where he should be *SCORING* so that assist is literally worthless is the point.
He had a total 13 assists in the game, that looks good if you don't know the details. Barkley's point was he already had 10 assists at the half, but at the more crucial 2nd half where he was supposed to step it up, he only had 3 assists...and still, zero points.
Kenny: “The glaring thing is he needs more baskets”
Me: How about 1 basket Kenny
I agree that with Shaq and Charles. Thirteen rebounds and nine assists are good numbers but it's not enough. He needs to score consistently, otherwise his team is constantly playing four on five that end..
It is nice and funny to see Chuck and Shaq on the same side
Imagine Barkley saying these exact same things, but about Dennis Rodman!
Charles and Shaq speak facts
They are right Kenny. He had 10 assist at halftime and ended with thirteen assist 0 points. That’s not good . Going 0 for 3 is not being aggressive offensively and that’s what they need from Ben. They need this from Ben with Kevin Durant on the floor but especially when he’s not there
@Wilson is this how it is in normal work life? You under perform and the company you’re working for should keep you? That’s automatic termination
Same Ben Simmons talk we got when he was in Philly. Hasn't changed at all.
Only Chuck can get away with telling Ernie “ hold on for a second”.
If Ben makes two of those three shots I can almost guarantee he would be getting some praise
Jaylen wearing a Cookie Monster sweater. Ben wearing a Celtics jacket.
"He had Zero, Five, & Four!" 🤣🤣🤣😂😂
Shaq said "At least act like you want to score" 😂😂😂😂😂
Shaq’s point. All that role playing and they lost. “Not enough”.
Like Shaq says to Kenny, "Not enough."
Poor Ernie trying to get Shaq and Charles to stop clowning and commentate on the highlights. It's like a school teacher trying to get the class to settle down lol!!!😂🤣
0 - 5 - 4 in the second half. I think this is going over a lot of heads. Chuck is making a brilliant point here.
0:53 HE'S BACK!!! 😂😂😂
When Chuck and Shaq are teaming up, making the same point, its hard to argue against them.
Earnie too
Kenny been like this all season especially with Ben😭he been on one
They were the bus drivers. They have a G14 classification to talk about leading teams.
He needs to go to the G League to get his confidence back.
Kenny had the whole studio turn on him defending this man, they all knew he was riding way to hard for bro and wanted him to be realistic
I swear I always think my screen is broken when I see the Nets court
Ben going to the rim would help slightly more but as a nets fan he’s been more then great for us , he’s maybe overly unselfish but it works for us because of kd and kyrie ..as far as I’m concerned great defense and having great vison they need to stop stepping on bens name like this … he’s fine the recipe has been working .. f a bucket when we winning games 💯💯
They should have sent him to the G League a long time ago
