@JCElzingawhat’s hard about death? What’s hard about ceasing to exist? Living just makes you conscious to all your pain and turmoil, death is a pretty obvious solution to that.
@Fazal I’ve ever worn a cap in my life. I’m not American and our weather is different. I think caps look silly, so do bandanas. But they keep the sun out of peoples eyes so it doesn’t really matter how they look. The jeans have never worn out and are comfortable so why buy a new pair.
"Sunny days wouldn't be special, if it wasn't for rain Joy wouldn't feel so good, if it wasn't for pain Death gotta be easy, cause life is hard It'll leave you physically, mentally and emotionally scared. " Dude's legit a poet

It's all poetry just fit to a melody. You find the right beat and background for any poems it can come out pretty good, just some have more straightforward meanings
50 certainly isnt a top tier lyricist, but this song is a prime example of the fact that its all about making good music above all else. Its a classic, something alot of top lyricists dont have in their catalog.
Glad that 50 himself is still here with us fans today, considering how crazy it was to know back then he got shot 9 times and manage to survive then turn it into a dope as song bumpin' that shit in 2023 right now!!! Cheers ya'll 🍺🍻🍻🍻😎
@Rakem what are you talking about😂 all i said was that it came out in 2003 because the comment above said it came out 13 years ago(when it was posted on youtube)
@Teddy Pabian It really doesn't matter too much. I'm 15 and have studied tupac, not only his music, but life and death, for years now, so yeah u can bring age into this, but i can confidently say that I know more about tupac than the average listener. I aint bragging or anything I'm just trying to make a point. yk
I remember being 12 listening to this in middle school. Shits crazy, now that I’m a adult I realize how raw, beautiful and incredible this song truly is.
@SEVENTEN It's subjective but that song totally doesn't do it for me, i would say Tupac made some timeless songs, but im glad that song does it for you
@fentanyl nba youngboy is an industry plant lol. he aint even a real gangster. youre not even old enough to remember but in 2018 he tried filiming a video in LA and some hoovers pulled up had that boy doing the harlem shake.
Quero aqui contoda força do meu coração dedicar essa canção a MEUS AMIGOS, BRUNO, MAICON, VAL, CABELO,ITALO,ELDER,MORIG,CLEO,KELY,BANGA,ISABELY E ARON .. 😭😭😭😭SAUDADES DE VOCES !!!!!!!!
This has always been my best song from 50, then to know this was a true story made it even better for me. Sad it has blood on it, but some times you have to do what you have to do. PERIODT! SIMPLE!
One of the most underrated lines of all time.........."Now it's clear that I'm here for a real reason, Cause he got hit like I got hit but he ain't fucking breathing.". Classic 50.
20 Years Anniversary today.. We all gettin' old quick ! So grateful for witnessing the golden era of rap & hip-hop. Youngins nowadays will never understand!
@Minimalici0us you only find that on the radio bro all the good artists out here getting killed we still got gangsta rap listen to better modern artists
I'm a youngin. Some of us know what the deal is. 50 is one of those artists who has respect from the OG's and new artists look up to. He bridges the generation gap.
50 maybe ain't the most lyrical guy but he is one of the greatest songwriters in Hip Hop. This track still gives me goosebumps 20 years later. It's like hearing a classic Tupac record with that raw emotion. "Many men... Many, many, many, many men..."
@◇MyKZclipAccount◇ Exactly! And that’s why for instance Tupac was as great as he was. The raw passion, emotion and his message made him so good. Still, I usually prefer to listen to more lyrical rappers like Crooked I, Banks etc.
The way I see it, you don't have to be the most lyrical rapper as long as you can still make good and/or impactful music with lines that sound like thought and heart were put into them.
When 50¢ started out (right after being shot) most of his joints was about death/betrayal/street life, bc thats what he lived (through) and he gave us his true story through music. Basically we have watched him evolve during his career. The content of his music started changing once he started living differently/better and he started to feel safe again. I respect/admire 50¢ for how he pulled himself out of depression (bc of the attempt by others to end his life) and thought about his family/dream of becoming an mc and he persevered/determined to make it, by sheer will and talent of course. Even if you don't like him or his music any Real One would/does respect dude. You don't have to agree with a person to respect their determination, strength and drive 🙏💯😌✌.
@mountaindreamgirl go have a coke and a smile, I'm talking about someone we don't know personally so why are you stressing? 🤔 I pray whoever reads my comment has a mind of their own. Be Blessed have a nice day 🙏😊✌.
@Wherever Whenevernah difference is they gotta do all that to constantly prove themselves. 50 was a boss and 50 demanded respect so people rarely tried him in the streets. Whereas Von Durk YB and all them constantly get tried cuz no one fears them and they still don’t. They get killed and get clowned. 50 got shot. Didn’t even die and his opps get popped. It’s a MAJOR difference trust. You comparing a mafia boss to a random Italian prisoner who just so happens to have a few bodies.
This might actually be the coldest song ever made. The lyrics, the meaning, the message. Honestly it’s a masterpiece. And it exists because 50 got shot 9 times and lived to tell about it. Insane.
Had the privilege to be around 18/19 when this banger and all the other early 2000’s came out… when this player in the club or cruising with the hommies ❤️🔥🔥🙌🏼🙏🏼
@Dublupz I understand that he may be an inspiration to you because, he faced a lot of adversity coming up although, I can tell you his old words may not help you mine most likely won't either just face the reality and make the right choices so that we don't live in fear or regret
@Dublupz don't give into the devil you're best game is to get ahead of him because, he's always lirking waiting for you to slip up and sometimes he'll attract you with things you desire but, it's a trick don't give in
Timeless. Iconic. I’m glad to have grown up in this era. “Sunny days wouldn’t be special if it wasn’t for rain, Joy wouldn’t feel so good if it wasn’t for pain. Death gotta be easy cause life is hard.” Last of the golden age of hip hop. The likes of which to never be repeated. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👑🫡

Timeless. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👑🫡
Still one of the realist tracks out 💯💯🔥🔥💪🏼💪🏼
This guy is the real OG, certainly among the great rappers of the 2000's. Don't get how he got shot 9 times and still made it
Over a decade later, I still jam this song once every couple months. Hard to believe someone lives through something like that to become a mogul.
@angelica espinal Don´t exactly know by how many rounds but he got shot in Berlin
@Maximus Decimus Meridius so how we know 50 and never heard of him? Did he also get shot 9 times?
