I'm struggling to understand this but no chance, please help me to get it, a certain number of people own a piece of land and want to live on it so simple, traditionally even with their primitive houses and cattle till the very end of their lifetimes. Now netanyahu says we developed this land to a luxurious state so we own it because the history is so unkind and shows us in order to be successful we have to walk on other people corpses, shed blood and exert a tyrannical control over others. How on earth did you come with this idea? Do we need to redefine the meaning of humanism again?
@Tara I have heard of antisemitism, but I have never heard of anti-christians or anti-jesus followers. Also consider that Kylie Irving was criticized swiftly and so was Kanye west for asking basic questions about jews
If you are unsure who to trust in these confusing times: Trust the courageous ones. Truth requires courage. Courage requires fortitude. Truth requires integrity. Cowards tell lies. Cowards support liars. Telling a lie is easy. Believing a lie is easy. Being compliant is easy. Staying silent is easy. Trusting without thinking is easy. Thinking for yourself is hard. Standing up for what is right is hard. Being real & authentic is hard. In times like these it takes all the courage in the world to question the states quo and to speak up and tell the Truth. Trust the courageous.
@Eltayeb There isn't anything confusing about it. The homeland for Israel is exactly where they have settled and no one would argue that. Many of the Palestinians came well after the fact. Israeli's have never said they can't live there, but it also isn't an either or proposition. It is the Israeli's traditional homeland. Anyone who thinks otherwise is kinda brain-dead.
That comment tells me there is no hope for Humanity the Bible talks about the Beast ,all that means is lawlessness you know, no morals Only the Strong will live. the first word that came to my mind when I saw your comment was coward. I felt I should come back and clarify I'm not calling you a coward just that your comment described a coward
I'm currently trying to teach myself to listen to the "other side" to learn - not to fuel my own sentiments about a certain topic. I'd say that working up to courage and calm to listen to the PM of a country I personally do not, or maybe better am not willing to support, is probably one of the greatest challenges in that regard. I haven't mustered up quite the energy yet but I do wonder if we will hear someone speak from the other side. I would recommend someone like @gazangirl from ThrPalestinePod, Ilan Pappé, the Israeli historian who wrote Ten Myths about Israel or even Miko Peled, the son of an Israeli General, who advocates for Palestine today.
@Une Sentinelle i largely agree, but what do you make of the phrase "history is written by the victors", and bias being what it is? Unfortunately i think history is written in a way that is favorable to the victors, giving the benefit of the doubt of having just motives, or conversely downplaying the negatives. It may skew the sense of what really went on, or include subjective takes. Aka, opinions.
If you're searching for truth when it comes to history (and I sure hope it is what you seek indeed), then there is no "other side", per se. There is not a side that advocates that man walked on the moon, and "another" side that advocates that it was all a piece of US propaganda. Either 12 men did walk on the moon, or they didn't. Either it happened, or it didn't. But there is no "side". I'm French, and we have remarkable historians (George Bensoussan comes to my mind) that can lead us into a better, more nuanced, understanding of this old conflict. It's impossible to understand what's happening now (on any topic) if we don't fully understand how we got there in the first place ;-)
Reading the land, reading nature, reading people are all forms of literacy that are essential for healthy, sustainable civilization. Text literacy is prone to a very narrow form of literacy that is more about codification and prevarication than direct, honest communication.
18:12 this is the best question in the interview because I think this is the hardest question for people to wrestle with. When do you become native and when do you lose those roots. Honestly we are all mobile bodies that have traveled from who knows where, but we actually validate it from family origins, ethnicity or scripture. What do we actually have a valid claim to in this world and at the end of the day does it even matter? That is my real question at the end of this.
@ashley rose Pagan tribes in the land of Canaan, but Jews have lived there for four thousand years. It is pretty obvious that it is their natural homeland. And it gets more complicated than that. Many Palestinians when their DNA is tested has jewish blood in it. Meaning there is a good chance that some Palestinians were jewish at some point....they converted to Islam. They would treat that like blashphemy, but DNA does not lie.
It is simple. This is the traditional homeland of the jews. They were forced to leave (scattered) and then they returned. However, many never left. In between there leaving and their return many never left. There claim to the land is the both oldest and even though in small numbers continuous. The Arab claim to the land is relatively recent and the land was taken by force. Jews are the legit claim. I also don't feel bad for Arab land that was lost. You fought Israel twice and lost. Those lands should be forfeited by the aggressors. :Maybe a lesson will be learned.
7:40-7:50 he said we left that land because we were afraid of byzantine and romans so it is clear that israelis left that place and after 2500 years arabs came and defeated romans and claimed palestine so idea of Israel is just wrong you cant control this country because you were weak so ownership should be given to the stronger country which was arab ARAB WAS STRONGER SO israel has no right to exist
I was more here to what Jordan would ask Netanyahu and I am not sure how did it go. History signifies that just after the West took control of the world, Isreal started getting recognized. As soon as the tables would turn and it would make sense to have the land given back to the natives.
@Anthony Spencer Now we are talking! I read it. I can address and debunk about 70% of it (your logic collapses on itself). And the other 30% I can share my personal opinion on what you wrote. But I am also on 4 hours of sleep and got a pretty long day tomorrow (mostly not arguing with people on KZclip comment section) this will have to wait till tomorrow. I'll reply back (I can respect what you wrote).
Peterson for sure sides with the israelies thats why. In one of his previous videos he was talking about the Israel vs Palestine issue, but instead of discussing how morally wrong Israelies act he just discussed "Well who was there first". I could not believe my ees or ears! So yes he surely has a bias and I'm not sure if he hiself believes he is not biased...
Funny how Peterson was challenging masters of the universe a few videos back. Guess who is going to the world economy forum and who is washing their feet.
I just wonder if Daily Wire could possibly slip a few more commercials in. I think it is fantastic while trying to watch any number of complex talks by Jordan the material constantly is interrupted really helps the flow of information!
there are all kinds of ways to avoid the ads. I download the vids and they all disappear. Then I usually delete the vid. There are filters, browsers etc that can do that easily. Can't put the links here, I'd be shadowbanned again.
@Eli S Fair enough, but I do wish they would group them together or even ask viewers to watch a block of ads in the beginning or end. I will probably just join Daily Wires pay sight. I really don't want to give money to KZclip. But I do understand that this information has value, it's just a bit frustrating at times.
@Zakaria Janzi You're not doing the Palestinians any favour by claiming it was the "most advanced arab "countries""... They had no serious intentions of creating a country at that time and it was extremely behind in development compared to most other arab countries.
What weird times ... We've got unexpected guys turning out to be amazing and brave thinkers, and we've got amazing and brave thinkers turning out to be unexpected clowns.
@BBD if my father goes to jail tommorow it will have a huge impact on my life and during his jailtime i may face severe difficulties in my life - so you can say people dont have the right to punish my father and put him in jail because of his stupid and harmful acts just because that he has a child and that poor child will get into huge trouble? if my ancestors were killers and invaders and i know it its the truth then i shall accept the consequences of my ancestors crimes. btw let face the real world terms (in this world the one who has the power he will rule).
The argument fits the claim of the indigenous people, reclaiming and developing their ancestral First Nation lands which the Indigenous Americans have every right to do.
@BBD If we did not "take over"land, half of South Dakota would be "hunting grounds" for some tribe. And, with rare exceptions, like the Algonquin, these tribes tried to kill each other to get more land( and horses).
Less than 3 minutes into the interview and I can tell how rehearsed Netanyahu's response is. Curious to see how JP is going to explore this.. why would Netanyahu be permitted to engage with his platform in this manner? Many questions, hopefully at least some will be answered by the end ...
@mad catter yes it was a territory and not a country, but it was promised to be a country. I have met Israeli Jews who are working in Canada, and I see how strongly they want the original biblical Israel back. Unfortunately over the years Jerusalem has been conquered 27 times, and there are no clear winners. That’s why it has to be shared, as there will never ever be peace. The problem will not go away because you have more weapons. ☮️ Peace
@Terry Mckenzie Good question and I will educate you. A Sovereign country by the name of palestine never existed. A region/land referred to as palestine obviously existed. So the Jews called it the palestine post. No the Jews did not steal it from Arabs, Arabs started wars against Israel to try to destroy them, and lost.
@mad catter Why would the Jews call in the Palestinian Post, if they don,t believe that Palestine didn,t exist. The fact is the Arabs had homes and lives there which they lived, and the invading Jews from foreign countries stole them murdered them and ran them off the land. Two states for two peoples.
@Terry Mckenzie Evryone in the land was a palestinian, including the Jews. The palestine post was created by Jews and later changed to Jerusalem post so I dont see how Jews stole it. And to play your game, there may have been a story of a palestinian people some time ago, but it disappeared. Deal with it. And while you are at it try to figure out when the palestinians were created...hint 1964
I believe you have the perfect platform to bring people together. Invite someone from the other side. You can show both sides that the other side is human as well and there isn’t much difference. If you are going to show someone from one side a representative of the other side, don’t show Netanyahu or The leader of Hamas. Show ordinary people that want to live in a peaceful home.
Wow! Countries now don't need to invade other countries when they can just cultivate its land to claim it!!! Thank you JP for saving thousands of lives
Bibi put some history in the old conflict going as far as Isaack and Ismail - well he greatly exagarated his role and input in todays Israel and its position in worlds community, well his is not first and the last in this regard, other than that, he hit that jackpot
Per many professional advisers, some of the first steps towards resolving conflicts are to listen carefully and objectively to all parties involved independently asking questions to elucidate the details. JP probably welcomes listening to all sides; give him a chance. Haters denying others' freedom of speech and making snappy comments is certainly not part of any solution only serving to add to the problem. How's that strategy working for you? Getting along well with your families and co-workers? Most often, you can learn more with your mouth closed and your ears open. One can learn something from every person one meets.
A real shame Mr Netanyahu did seem to be able to close his mouth for long enough so he could learn something from it. Just rehashing the same old story that is not really history.
@Kat Adam Yes it was. But in 48 they went to far and ran 7 million Pals out of their houses and killed thousands. Totally illegal, and the world is waiting for Israel to go back to that boarder, and Palestine to have a capital in East Jerusalem. I think it’s fair that Israel can share that capital also.
@kam zarnegar You try to give us some insight to what you know, but there is a contadiction, but I belief you try to be funny. First of all, you said the Jews did not occupy the state of Israel for 3800yrs, by that you admit they possessed the land before. Secondly, you mentioned Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and Moses, all in the right sequence recorded in the bible, and a bit more of your uninformed mind. The funny part is the alien mars portion, I must say you have destroy your future as a comedian!
Which God, or Witch God? For it is written in the same Book Benjamin Netanyahu called the Bible, there are Gods and Lords are many, starting with the Serpent God in Genesis chapter 3 who beguiled Eve, promising her if she obeys him and disobey her KREATHER, she Eve Adam will become like him The Serpent God, but of the lower case as god or gods. According to the same Bible Ben Netanyahu refered to, he the Serpent God beguiling She Eve Adam to eat of his forbidden fruit, he can not only be the most Subtile Beast of all the Beasts of the fields on Earth, but of he and she Adam, so he can be called The God of this World, the father of lies and a murderer in the beginning (John 8: 32 -44). Learn the cast difference of The KREATHER and god, God, LORD God, GOD, and Gods. For the KREATHER is GREATHER than god, God, Gods, Lord, LORD God etc.
What I’ve learned from this is that life actually has 13 rules with the last being: bow before your master and forget the first 12 rules when they say so.
@Khalid Aser absolutely, I've never seen peterson go this softball on someone who just keeps repeating the same bs over and over accusing the other side of lying and being absurd.
@WyBe Prod what are you on about, the interview repeat itserlf after 30 min. Same questions same answers. "Well when we got here we invested in the place". Yee sure... sounds nice whatever that means. I´ve seen vidoes och palestine/israel from late 18th century and there was alot going on there, it wasnt like an empty desert or something like that.
@Khalid Aser they want us to argue and not know what is going on. they want us to pick a side. it’s not about sides. it’s about an agenda that has nothing to do with true religion.
@IP Productions Really man, after this video I'm gonna go full monk mode like you, fuck all this shit you can't trust no one in this life, what the hell, they y'all sell their soul when they saw this 💵
Jordan did not even ask him any questions 😂 I thought he was about to go in depth with it, but it was an hour and a half just hearing Netanyahu talk big disappointment on Peterson, wish I had listened to more of his take on the subject
If you want to keep your credibility, you need to invite someone from the Palestinian side. Not only that! You need to treat him the same way: No hard questions, and giving him all the time to express his point of view without interruption!
so according to his principal, if i moved into an old mans house, which used to be my grandfathers but he got evicted, i have every right to move into his house and take over the house.
@Feras Abu Younis Beka Beki (enough is enough)of your text talking. You are NOT Shalom Shalom Intellectual equal. Shalom Shalom never said good removed Israel.
During the war,, Germany stolen from French alotnof art work... Now the original owner are still finding they... And taking them back... Because they were stolen in the first place...
Remember folks, pointing out demographics of certain industries that push corrosive, anti-Christian products, services, and entertainment to facilitate societal decay is grounds to get you banned, made a pariah, and an enemy of the State. "If you want to know who rules over you, look at who you are not allowed to criticize." (I don't care who said it first, it's still demonstrably true and relevant.)
I'm sorry but in order to have a genuine discussion regarding the Israeli-Palestine issue, you need to have someone legitimate and representative from the other side of the argument, perhaps in another episode. An opportunity was missed to potentially have this. I think the issues are too important when individuals are experiencing real injustices and discrimination based upon the sets of cultural and racial categorisations that they born into in this region- that swathes of people are judged and mistreated based upon the historic narratives of "them" and "us". People are unfairly levied with injustices of the past because as humans we too arbitrarily catagorise people and should fundamentally focus on solutions that prevent human suffering, injustice and discrimination in the present day. I'm sure Jordan Peterson is aware of the psychology of prejudice and the works of Henri Tajfel and John Turner.
I enjoy listening to Dr. Peterson, but I must agree with the sentiments of this comment. I personally believe Benjamin Netanyahu to be an extremely dangerous person. His willingness to kill is reprehensible. On the other hand, I'm not sure that the 2 state solution is going to work. From my admittedly limited understanding of the issue, it appears to me that the complete union of the Palestinian people with Israel seems to be the only logical solution given the current situation, but I doubt this is possible. This issue requires serious mediation from impartial, respected, and neutral parties.
17:58 "When we came back", in the book "Hess, Hitler and Chirchil" , by historian Peter Padfield mentioning how they decide to create "New Israel", they were choosing between Belize, Madagascar, even Australia been in the discussions and land of Palestine. Why they chose a zone of unstoppable conflict? Do you know how one 80 years old professor of israelian history answer to me... ? " On that territory since the antique past had a conflict, why we have to stop the conflict". I was shocked from that answer, that moment I started to understand that kind of thinking. Ustopable arrogance and rude jokes. The same professor were born in Poland all her life lived in Israel, she said she move with her mom and father in Israel when she has been 4 about 1943 when they start to spared the rumor about the inventing the new country . Nobody of her family were born on that territory. Something else, except the communist east Europe countries nobody were getting unreservedly investments from other country except Israel from USA. Hidden communist schema.
It is understandable not to being keen on immigrating to your homeland which was stateless, unwelcomed, desert, leaving your belongings behind etc. Only when it became a trend, you realistically consider leaving everything behind, because you know you go there as a nation who will flourish and stick together.
Yos, Zionism was supported by Rothschild. But most Jewish people were not interested. As for homeland of the Ashkenazi being Khazaria, are you referring to Koestler's book about the Khazars, whose king converted to Judaism and the population followed? Koestler suggests the Khazars became the thirteenth tribe of Israel. However, the Khazars are not genetically the same people as the Hebrew tribes. There is always some mixture in the different Jewish populations because they moved around so much and were so often enslaved. It is remarkable that they remained as homogenous as they have managed to be. The political aims of Israel were very varied but the first State of Israel was driven by flight from the Nazis and Hitler and so the Ashkenazi predominated. Prior to Hitler, there was little enthusiasm for moving to the Levantine coast of the Mediterranean. I am aware of the countries posited to the Zionists as possibly suitable for a Jewish homeland but frankly do not believe they considered any of them seriously. I have been surprised for years that other countries were even suggested. Seems clear to me that the Jews were thinking of ancient Israel and the history to which they had remained faithful. What incentive was there to go to Brazil or Madagascar or a hundred other locations? The Zionists were convinced they had a right to move to Palestine (and yes, can believe it may have been Baalestine, that is an obvious point). As for bringing peace, what a notion. Seizing land and buying up land from those willing to sell is not a good plan for peace. One of the sellers, the Greek Sursocks, owned much of Palestine at the time so great tracts could be acquired in one purchase, including the port of Haifa. However, what ruined any chance of gradual settlement, against natural resistance from those already there, was the rise of Nazis and WWII. Suddenly Jewish people were arriving in thousands in Palestine, fleeing Nazism, and these people were strangers to the society into which they came. They did not speak the local languages, they did not eat or live like Mizrahi or other Palestinians, they had a different way of life and different attitudes. They were fiercely determined to establish Israel as a vital matter of security and they set about it ruthlessly. The Jewish Agency wanted to try to pursue negotiation without violence but the newcomers became very violent. Israel denied this for a long time. Ask the British, however, as well as the Palestinians. That violence was not justified and claiming the land simply belonged to Jews was questionable as a policy. Israel was established by force and by numbers and by political compacts with America in particular, the nation who was the greatest political power. There has been a strange assumption, perhaps because the Muslim Brotherhood proclaimed it, that the Arabs are all the same. Certainly not. The Mediterranean Basin populations are NOT the same as the Gulf populations. I have not yet investigated Jordanians but if they are Hashemite, they are not originally a Mediterranean people. The motives of Egypt and Syria are not the motives of Saudi or Jordan or Yemen. Their histories are different. Iran and Iraq are different again. Being Islamic does not equate to being an Arab. Islam came after Christianity, which, as the Israelis would point out, came after Judaism. The Muslim world is not united in every way and followed many great kingdoms, most of which the Gulf did not participate in. Islam came from the Gulf. So to treat everyone as 'Arab' is misleading. Israel is more amalgamated now than when it started in 1948 but the people were not all united as one 'Jew' either. That peace was the aim of the State of Israel is not true effectively. The State of Israel was the aim of Israel, period.
@mary atkinson Homeland of Ashkenazi Jews is Khazaria and never been Palestine, actually it is Balestine from God Baal? Hope my short answer is understandable for you and not so amusing.
@HighTemplarTreant Nice to see that modern technology has afforded sad lonely bigots a new way of deflecting from the fact that they rely upon ancient innuendos instead of forming coherent thoughts. Congrats on this breakthrough!
@HighTemplarTreant ok, so it seems like you *are* willing to be specific. Now what I've gleaned is "Talmudian Zionism dominates Jews." My questions are: What is Talmudian Zionism? What is the "authentic" Judaism that it supposedly dominates? How does it achieve this domination? What should be done about it?
@Boaz which part of the "it has nothing with people of Jewish religion" did you not understand? Seems to me that it was a complete logical statement. Did you even look into the protests done by jews themselves against the Talmudian Zionism that dominates them?
@HighTemplarTreant this comment section is full of people explicitly calling for a second holocaust, so I’m skeptical that you’d be shadowbanned. But if you’re concerned, maybe you can come up with a really simple code then (just say ‘penguins’ instead of Jews?) or link to a google doc or something. If, indeed, you’re not able to actually express specific thoughts about Jews on KZclip, then it’s not clear to me why you’re commenting here at all. Unless, of course, the idea is simply to anonymously hint to other anonymous Jew-haters that you too generally hate Jews. We all want a sense of belonging and community, and I suppose someone whose life is incredibly lonely might resort to something like this to try to find it. But I can’t imagine it ends up being very fulfilling.
Thank you the Grandson of Yacob. Kindly do the viewers fairness by telling them the following; 1. Whio was David? 2. Where and When was he born, his parents and where did they live? 3. Was David a King, and the King of the who? 4 Was he the first or last King? 5 . Where was the Capital City of this kingdom? Who were the empires, chronology, that conquered their kingdom?
@John Zelener 1. The king of Judea for 7 years, then the entire kingdom of Israel for 33. 2. About 1000 BC, Bethlehem. Jesse, Mother not named 3. Yes, as before Judea then all of Israel 4. Neither 5. Hebron then Jerusalem Babylon 500 years after his death
Check the worldwide support for Palestine and how disliked Israel is. Seeing the comments look like this is no surprise. People will always side with the underdog, and watching Israel do to Palestine what Germany did to minorities in their camps in WW2 leaves a sour taste in anyone's mouth.
my great great great great great great great great grand father, the first human on earth posses the whole lands and oceans under the atmosphere where all human live nowadays. inspired by mr. netanyahu, now i’m thinking about to claim it back after 50k years or so
@Elaine Sorry, suddenly remembered my comment! well, if Mr Schwantz is taking over, it's tricky, isn't it? clearly I would have to rack my brains and probably be too late to dream up a solution. I like his sense of humour and my reply was not serious.
Could you, please, use dark background in all of your upcoming interviews, Sir? It helps me focus for a longer time on screen without letting my eyes get strained due to utterly white backdrop! Bdw, Sir, you are doing a very great job, may God bless you!
Bibi is talking about his actions as Finance Minister (a job well done) but his current government is handing out the largest amounts ever given to a non-working public - the Ultra Orthodox. He has a pact with them - he gives them whatever they desire and they give him power and the possibility to escape his trials..
@Wiley The ACME Salesman I suppose. It also seems like JP isn't really that well versed in the subject (which he himself admitted), so it is difficult for him to really provide competent pushback. It is also worth keeping in mind that he might simply have been a bit intimidated. Netanyahu is not exactly small potatoes, and to push hard against the Prime Minister of Israel, especially one with a military record, is a daunting prospect. Given that JP is highly agreeable (I think he said he ranks in the 99th percentile in terms of agreeableness, meaning he is more agreeable than 99 % of people), that would ne really challenging for him.
@Alaron I agree with what you’re saying, it’s just that JP said he was going to try to be the voice of opposition but wasn’t really given the chance because BB wouldn’t give him a chance to say anything. It appeared that BB didn’t want any other perspectives to accidentally leak in but I’m not blaming JP.
I don't really think Peterson was too interested in grilling him. He tends to be mild with his guests, whichever perspective they represent. He did not push back against Muslim guests either. In his defense, it is understandable that he doesn't want to be too adverserial, because then contentious figures will stop appearing on his podcast. I think one just has to go into these conversations knowing that one won't get any kind of hardcore pushback, but that that does not mean Peterson necessarily agrees or that we should believe it all.
"It is necessary that I should die for my people, but one day my spirit will rise from the grave and the whole world will see that I was right" - some legend, probably
"I will make those of the synagogue of Satan who say that they are Jews and are not, but are lying-I will make them come and bow down before your feet, and they will learn that I have loved you." It's funny how right they were about those atheist who claim to be jewish, I don't understand how anyone who has ever touched a Bible could support Israel, lol.
It is amazing that so many people have no clue that Israel was born out of the defeat of the Central Powers of WW1. And the same set of International Laws that created Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Kuwait, and TransJordan.
@Far Da Really? Then you obviously missed the point of WW1 happening, the Treaties of Sevres and Lausanne, the San Remo Conference, and the existence of the League of Nations. The Mandatories, Syria, Mesopotamia, and Palestine were created in 1922. Quite sometime prior to WW2. The mandated People’s assigned formerly Turkish Lands wasn’t decided by WW2, so I really don’t understand your mention of WW2? PS The Jewish National Home was decided upon in1922.
and your point is? I would say it might be amazing tha most people could not pont out were the hated england is located on a map...let alone israel lol. Don't worry we do know that ww1 was responsible for many things....ww2 more so for israel
Me am here in this world 40 years but before 2000 years was another world with another generation and I did try to become politician when I was in primary school then when i see corrupt political I quit but Netanyahu understand one God is the one who created Israel to the land and I respect Israel people and they respect me the ones I know so every person must have work goodness and tell the wrong ones in a right way
If some day Jordan have Noam Chomskey or Norman Finkelstain on podcast or any form of interview to discuss Palestine it would be ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. I hope and pray for that day. Peace brother
Unfortunately Mr. Peterson would never dare to interview anybody like Chomsky, out of fear of humiliation. He is well aware of the fact that he would have his ass handed to him, much like when he was fumbling for words when he came up against Zizek and realized he was no longer debating college teenagers or destroying strawmen of his creation in prerecorded youtube videos. At this point I doubt many people beyond his core incel fanbase take Peterson seriously anymore but his bullshit still needs to be called out, especially when he comes up with new bangers like this one here where he "interviews" a leader of a terrorist state.
@Plant Based Diet and Fitness Netanyahu is far Superior but Finkelstein.. Having studied the Middle East, not only Israel, all my life I have good credentials to judge that. How many others of opposing options on the subject have you read or listened to?
@Chanan Moshe I'm sure there's some criticisms to be made of him, I think you have something personal against Finkelstein, because he's certainly more scholarly than Alan Dershowitz, who got embarrassed in their debate. but let's leave Dershowitz alone, Is Netanyahu superior to Finkelstein in regards to the criticisms you made? is Netanyahu more scholarly, more honest and exact, and always cites accurately? I think an honest/unbiased answer to that question should determine whether finkelstein could appear on Petersons youtube channel.
Whoa, just found out about this interview. I'm just 2 minutes in, so i don't know how the conversation will end up. But all of a sudden, Dr. Peterson got canceled everywhere makes sense now...
Hahahaha watching this Dumpster fire of an interview reminds me of the interview whit prince andrew about epstien 🤣😂 where are the grown ups? Thanks for this video haha this made my day haha.
Dear Dr Peterson, I have always viewed you as a brilliant scholar and a man of great integrity . If you could kindly afford the Palestine voice the same platform as you done with Bibi .We need to hear their own perspective without any bias .
It is not worth trading your decency, intellect, truthfulness for a small amount of benefit Mr. Peterson. But it seems this one hour of podcast of yours sheds an illuminating light on many followers mind on what you truly hide deep in your heart...
I’m literally surprised by this way of thinking, of perception about Israel and Palestinian. I finally found our point of disagreement 😕 However I would wish, one day to respond to that de vive voix (in person)
This history lesson is full of Self-interest bias even though it's not a simple story there is a lot of factors that come into play in this story, hope that leaders of nations try to focus on the similarities between the two nations.
One things for certain, on any political side you may rest on the world is an absolute mess. Life is hard enough as it is for us all, our ancestors would've surely hoped that by now we'd all be able to get along without the bullshaite.
Curious how this argument for Israel’s existence holds up when when JP applies it to any other invaded and colonized land (i.e the Americas, Australia etc.)… would JP then advocate that it would be moral and legal for the natives in his homeland of Canada to go reclaim every piece of land that is not “productive”?
@Nirvanic and the one’s who didn’t were forcefully evicted from their land, in many cases violating existing treaties with the occupying force… your reply isn’t really addressing my question as much as you think it is.
He mentions Mandatory Palestine many times during the interview. And also, the McMahon-Hussein correspondence was with the Hashemites, which have a country - Jordan. Also, he did not mention the 1947 U.N sanctioned partition plan, which the Jews accepted but the Arabs rejected and then attacked. So whatever happened before is not so relevant.
He talks about ancensors from 2000 years ago. But after like 1000 years everyone is related to everyone just by math. So these ancestors are ancestors of everyone on the planet.
@Spyderz0310 yeah - if you calculate it after 2350 years you have as many ancestors as grains of sand on the planet (2^94). Almost all of them are in there multiple times of course. And the odds that you arent related to someone specific are basicly impossible. Its already this case after about 1000 years where its only 1.1 Trillion (2^40)ancestors per person. (2 parents, 4 grand parents, 8 great grand parents and so on)
I think if Jordan Peterson became prime minister of Canada I think more people would be proud to be Canadian and more people would join the Army having a leader like him
Voltair was right, "To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize"
Voltaire isn't the originator of that quote fren. Not trying to dunk on you, just arming you with information
@Tara I have heard of antisemitism, but I have never heard of anti-christians or anti-jesus followers.
Also consider that Kylie Irving was criticized swiftly and so was Kanye west for asking basic questions about jews
@Yuval a lot of words for zero reflection on the reality. Yuval is one of those tall tale people it seems
That is the fewest words Dr. Peterson has ever used in an interview 😂😂😂❤
😂😂😅
«И днем конца был день его расцвета, и грянул гром, и песня не допета - но за него мы песню допоем!»
If you are unsure who to trust in these
confusing times:
Trust the courageous ones.
Truth requires courage.
Courage requires fortitude.
Truth requires integrity.
Cowards tell lies.
Cowards support liars.
Telling a lie is easy.
Believing a lie is easy.
Being compliant is easy.
Staying silent is easy.
Trusting without thinking is easy.
Thinking for yourself is hard.
Standing up for what is right is hard.
Being real & authentic is hard.
In times like these it takes all the courage
in the world to question the states quo
and to speak up and tell the Truth.
Trust the courageous.
Courage is not violence though,
muslims.
Trust yourself. Read some history books.
@Scott JayMoses peace be upon him was nor a Jew nor a Chritian bro!?
N. Is so right about free markets . Getting billions from Germany and the US was a big help too.
No matter what kind of “intellectual” you are, you will never bite the hand that feeds you. It’s true.
Worst than a bite, at least the animal will lick the wound back.....the bible suddenly became reference by Ben😁
@Yuval Alternative facts. Palestinians are arabized people, not ethnically Arab. There was never a wholesale migration from Arabia to Palestine.
1 million percent
Seth Kalifi lol, the difference between you and me is that I recognize the insanity on the other side when I see it.
I think be was a very honest and truthful... Especially about history...
That is my real question at the end of this.
nonesense
@ashley rose Pagan tribes in the land of Canaan, but Jews have lived there for four thousand years. It is pretty obvious that it is their natural homeland. And it gets more complicated than that. Many Palestinians when their DNA is tested has jewish blood in it. Meaning there is a good chance that some Palestinians were jewish at some point....they converted to Islam. They would treat that like blashphemy, but DNA does not lie.
@Wade French before the Jews it was the homeland of other people?
It is simple. This is the traditional homeland of the jews. They were forced to leave (scattered) and then they returned. However, many never left. In between there leaving and their return many never left. There claim to the land is the both oldest and even though in small numbers continuous. The Arab claim to the land is relatively recent and the land was taken by force. Jews are the legit claim.
I also don't feel bad for Arab land that was lost. You fought Israel twice and lost. Those lands should be forfeited by the aggressors. :Maybe a lesson will be learned.
I barely remember what i had for dinner and BN remembers what happened precisely thousands years ago along with all quotes of History
@Fa Re i mean israel is avery weak country without usa
@Boruto Uzumaki But Israel kicks ass now and ever since, so you just owned yourself.. 🤦♂
Push back against who happen to be Jewish.Dr Peterson is no doubt a person with a high level of awareness.
I was more here to what Jordan would ask Netanyahu and I am not sure how did it go.
History signifies that just after the West took control of the world, Isreal started getting recognized.
As soon as the tables would turn and it would make sense to have the land given back to the natives.
It's SATANyahoo !
Get it right please !
“You Either Die A Hero, Or You Live Long Enough To See Yourself Become The Villain”
How accurate!
JBP ain't dead yet fool
@Anthony Spencer Now we are talking! I read it. I can address and debunk about 70% of it (your logic collapses on itself). And the other 30% I can share my personal opinion on what you wrote. But I am also on 4 hours of sleep and got a pretty long day tomorrow (mostly not arguing with people on KZclip comment section) this will have to wait till tomorrow. I'll reply back (I can respect what you wrote).
Ok now, this is scary. I never expected Jordan Peterson to be so docile during a conversation. Goodness.
True.
That's how you know it's well-scripted
I know he hardly spoke during this video. Usually he is a lot more vocal. The point that you made is very true.
Funny how Peterson was challenging masters of the universe a few videos back.
Guess who is going to the world economy forum and who is washing their feet.
"THE STRONG TAKE FROM THE WEAK AND THE INTELLIGENT TAKE FROM THE STRONG."
@rcair123 I got youtube premium years ago when it was $10. Now I guess it's $15. But yeah I hate giving money to google
@Eli S Fair enough, but I do wish they would group them together or even ask viewers to watch a block of ads in the beginning or end. I will probably just join Daily Wires pay sight. I really don't want to give money to KZclip. But I do understand that this information has value, it's just a bit frustrating at times.
Pay for youtube without ads.
Ever heard this phrase that the “history is written by the winners” ? Now we are seeing this happening.
@Zakaria Janzi
You're not doing the Palestinians any favour by claiming it was the "most advanced arab "countries""...
They had no serious intentions of creating a country at that time and it was extremely behind in development compared to most other arab countries.
@Zakaria Janzi Typical Muslim Disinformation yaani Taqyyia
@Be Good 🎯
What weird times ... We've got unexpected guys turning out to be amazing and brave thinkers, and we've got amazing and brave thinkers turning out to be unexpected clowns.
He is turning into an expected clown.
@Steven Roberts I read it and it'll educate you if you would
Jbp got mkultra fckd, i don't think it was benzos they were slipping him
@Yuval Nor an Israeli one.
Happy to hear Netanyahu also implicitly makes a case for the indigenous people of the United States.
Its slightly different because Netanyahu's claim is that the abuse of their native land justifies reclaiming it, not just that it was taken.
Not really. Try again
Does the argument of developing the barren land argument also fit the claims of the Native Americans vs settlers who developed the USA?
I think his argument is basically: as long as there is no force to prevent you from taking something, you can take it.
We are really in endtimes. One of the signs of endtimes is:
TRUTH BECOME A LIE. AND LIE BECOME TRUTH.
Endtimes ? Well don't let anyone hold you back. Off you go 😁
Less than 3 minutes into the interview and I can tell how rehearsed Netanyahu's response is.
That would exclude every single muslim.
Wow! Countries now don't need to invade other countries when they can just cultivate its land to claim it!!!
Thank you JP for saving thousands of lives
@Zafanger!! you're not amazigh, don't speak in our name. no we are not thankful.
I guess the Arabs haven't heard of the Six Day War, that's how the Palestinians were "conquered"
Everyone you'll ever meet,
knows something you don't.
;)
A real shame Mr Netanyahu did seem to be able to close his mouth for long enough so he could learn something from it. Just rehashing the same old story that is not really history.
What is yours is yours what is mine is mine but we need each other because we are human with a heart
I never understood why netanyahu laughed many times but never sustain that to the end lol leaving it somewhere in the middle.
I for one are a huge fan of Dr Jordan B Peterstein
He is a boneheaded bonehead.
And a prof. Of lying.
And he is exceptional at it.
Absolutely unbelievable. How can anyone not see the truth by now?
@Ivomir Rikerpro Israel isn't close to the equator and plenty of lebanese people have the same light skin colour
@Element M I think you missed a key word in the title of the book you qouted from (Theories)
@Richard coper's roommate thats not a real qoute
@Terry Mckenzie I think running people out of their homes and property is a horrible action
Mr Peterson, are you also inviting someone to tell us the other side of the story any time soon?
@Salim Sopari yea💪💪
@kam zarnegar moses was muslim
He needs to clean his room first... Haha
To create a morden fantasy that doesn't exist, that part is striking
I always found it interesting if you count years from dome of the rock being built 1260 years you get the year israel became a nation again
Let God have His last Word about this. Don't leave Him out of this. Logic talk is very smooth. We know who is the real winner in all this.
@Docter R Yates you'll find out soon enough
Some times I ask my self who is fighting and why and no one can explain to me really
@Gucci Don Buzz Flightyear anti semetic is just a word used to stop criticism.
Totally agree !!!
@Gucci Don Buzz Flightyear Oy vey 👃 😅
someone needs to do a fact check on this dude.
Wow just wow, absolutely fantastic. Thanks guys.
Palestine is a Latin word ie Roman lol I love this Guy
A prime example of "either you die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain".
A very profoundly stupid saying.
It means that all who live long must transform into villains.
@AvidiaNirvana not wasting my time with you.
Keep your hate in yourself.
Everyone talks at you like your some kind of CEO of a certain Co, made the rules, instead of the Great philosopher that you are. GREAT!!!
This was a Netanyahu monologue. Disappointed to see Jordan not challenge very apparent lies being said here.
Please do an interview with Palestine scholar
so according to his principal, if i moved into an old mans house, which used to be my grandfathers but he got evicted, i have every right to move into his house and take over the house.
If he got evicted, He never owned the house he lived in did he? Get real now!
@MIKE MIKE Post it as a separate reply! Its very illuminating.
His brother commanded and died the Israeli forces rescuing the hostages at Entebi in Uganda
The most one sided interview ever recorded...congratulations Jordan!
History rewritten by Ben😌
@Joe Pham Solution; ask the content creaters to rename the video a biography. Interviews are completely different from what this was.
In order to understand, one needs first to shut up and listen.
agreed ... his mouth was glued
So for short term pain you expect long term benefits that outweigh the costs. In other words; "the ends justify the means"?
Wow, great show!
Il be going there soon for a visit.
Amazingly well put together video. Thank you!
this is not a dialogue this is a monologue
Remember folks, pointing out demographics of certain industries that push corrosive, anti-Christian products, services, and entertainment to facilitate societal decay is grounds to get you banned, made a pariah, and an enemy of the State.
"If you want to know who rules over you, look at who you are not allowed to criticize."
(I don't care who said it first, it's still demonstrably true and relevant.)
@Beesan Jaser You don't know what you're talking about. Islam and Christianity are closer. Not Judaism.
@Sven Gehlen I don't understand. Can you explain it further
@Some dude is that who coined the term? I should have guessed it. The Scofield Bible is the go to in the states. Thanks for sharing
This issue requires serious mediation from impartial, respected, and neutral parties.
....and that people like Benjamin Netanyahu would perhaps like to remain ignorant of the works of Henri Tajfel and John Turner
I can't see what is so funny when presenting some delicate subjects but that man can't erase his smile and the felling of superiority.
When you subscribe to KZclip Premium but it still can’t block ads 😅
The rightful claim...it's their decision not anyones...they can claim, they can build, they can come back, it's their land...
He's like big brother from 1984 without the mustache
Very glad to be a part of the noticing here fellas
@HighTemplarTreant Nice to see that modern technology has afforded sad lonely bigots a new way of deflecting from the fact that they rely upon ancient innuendos instead of forming coherent thoughts. Congrats on this breakthrough!
@Boaz ask ChatGPT
Its cool to see political figures doing long form interviews like this
Joe peterson is badass, he is so calm.
truth in every word
Thank you the Grandson of Yacob. Kindly do the viewers fairness by telling them the following;
Jesse, Mother not named
3. Yes, as before Judea then all of Israel
4. Neither
5. Hebron then Jerusalem
Babylon 500 years after his death
Just research it yourself on Google... Can to read...
This comment section gives me hope for the future.
Check the worldwide support for Palestine and how disliked Israel is. Seeing the comments look like this is no surprise.
People will always side with the underdog, and watching Israel do to Palestine what Germany did to minorities in their camps in WW2 leaves a sour taste in anyone's mouth.
Ditto.
my great great great great great great great great grand father, the first human on earth posses the whole lands and oceans under the atmosphere where all human live nowadays. inspired by mr. netanyahu, now i’m thinking about to claim it back after 50k years or so
@Reid Schwantz 😂😂 😂
@Elaine Sorry, suddenly remembered my comment! well, if Mr Schwantz is taking over, it's tricky, isn't it? clearly I would have to rack my brains and probably be too late to dream up a solution. I like his sense of humour and my reply was not serious.
@Elaine Do you mean travel to?
@mary atkinson Where are you thinking of going to?
Well, I would like a warning. I have to think of where to go.
"Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips."
-Proverbs 27:2
Just a thought, Bibi.
39:00, Yeah sure cause that is how political decisions are made in our world😂
That is what I call blow back... your viewers are far more rational and intelligent than you estimated
Still waiting with anticipation for the final episode in your "message to" series, Jordan.
@Craig R isn’t there a Brit Milah you could be attending? Maybe your rabbi will let you drink some of the blood!
@H'Im DaveGosh, your assumptions are just spot on Dave. I don't know how you manage to gauge such accurate reads!
@Craig R enjoy making peace with evil… whatever it takes to fit in!
@H'Im Dave I'm really not trying to do that, but believe what you wish. Enjoy assuming bad faith all the time, I'm sure you'll be happy.
Could you, please, use dark background in all of your upcoming interviews, Sir? It helps me focus for a longer time on screen without letting my eyes get strained due to utterly white backdrop! Bdw, Sir, you are doing a very great job, may God bless you!
@Jennifer Hey i want to buy them too. Are they really good? What are your personal benefits?
Blue block glasses. I have to use them for any screens. Worth it.
Bibi is talking about his actions as Finance Minister (a job well done) but his current government is handing out the largest amounts ever given to a non-working public - the Ultra Orthodox. He has a pact with them - he gives them whatever they desire and they give him power and the possibility to escape his trials..
How many times did Netanyahu mention his book
Glad JP had a chance to talk and ask tough questions. This dude doesn’t quit talking for a second.
@English with Ellie I agree, I was being sarcastic.
He hardly did anything .I could ask these questions .it was like a chance for him to study Israel and Jewish state .
Would very much like to see a Mahdi Hassan v.s Netanyahu debate hosted by u

It's funny how right they were about those atheist who claim to be jewish, I don't understand how anyone who has ever touched a Bible could support Israel, lol.

Eighty-eight.
Im assuming by the statement that some will have thought him wrong, maybe even jailed him. He should write a book about his struggle.

JP very sad to see a piece edited out that is important for the world to know!
Don't worry we know already...
Amazing
hey sir JP when is your new book "beyond out of order " coming out?
Me am here in this world 40 years but before 2000 years was another world with another generation and I did try to become politician when I was in primary school then when i see corrupt political I quit but Netanyahu understand one God is the one who created Israel to the land and I respect Israel people and they respect me the ones I know so every person must have work goodness and tell the wrong ones in a right way
People know the truth, will never forget it, and will be fighting for it.
The truth is always worth fighting for.
@Yuval Ashkenazi jews are not native to Israel either so your point is entire self-debunked lol.
@Abdullah Patel Genghis khan alone, have 16 million descendants all over the world. can those descendants claim the throne of current Mongolia?
The truth we don't care who state is it Arab or Jew we don't care we want our rights you understand me
If some day Jordan have Noam Chomskey or Norman Finkelstain on podcast or any form of interview to discuss Palestine it would be ABSOLUTELY AWESOME.
I think an honest/unbiased answer to that question should determine whether finkelstein could appear on Petersons youtube channel.
damn bro imagine if someone was from Mongolia, he has apartments extending from europe to china that he can take anytime he wants, lucky guy
@Shubh singh The man has a point.
@Shubh singh Same bloody history as Hindus.
@Shubh singh Whoops, Sikh. My bad.

@ליאור A source for every single one of your points, thanks.
Wtf? There has NEVER been such country in history. It was the British mandate not a Muslim country! Stop the lies
Despite the fact that I am from Israel I agree that both sides should be heared.
I finally found our point of disagreement 😕
However I would wish, one day to respond to that de vive voix (in person)
“Before a people are aloud to exist” Dylan
This history lesson is full of Self-interest bias even though it's not a simple story there is a lot of factors that come into play in this story, hope that leaders of nations try to focus on the similarities between the two nations.
Why can't Arabs do that?
@ליאור does that justify ethnic cleansing?
@ליאור thank you for confirming that you’re a bot account. Say hi to all the fellas at the troll farm.
i have to say i've never heard a better articulated argument. unedited, un coached by interviewer. truly eye opening.
It's curious how Bibi just skips over Mandatory Palestine and the McMahon-Hussein Correspondence in his little history lesson... interesting
Netanyahou say we are powerful, justice or not justice, we stay, if anybody disagree, we strike, no dialogue
(2 parents, 4 grand parents, 8 great grand parents and so on)
I think if Jordan Peterson became prime minister of Canada I think more people would be proud to be Canadian and more people would join the Army having a leader like him
Find the answer for yourself
Huh? Why would a country that has predominantly been in peace even want a powerful military. Is cost a lot to maintain it
@Samir cause they're would be no wars
Army? Seriously?
