I'd appreciate if there was a small thing of text in a corner that said "Java" "Bedrock" or "Both" to indicate which version the things work on, mainly cause he says 'just use spectral arrows' like it's a common thing, even though Bedrock doesn't have them, and whenever he talks about a Bedrock trick, he always says that it works on Bedrock, yet never says anything about things that only work on Java.
In the new update, they actually removed fall damage for entities on leads. So you don't have to worry about mobs that you're flying around with elytra, dying.
For some reason, if you place a carpet on top of a fence, you can jump onto the fence, but mobs still can't. This is an alternative to using trapdoors as fences that conserves some wood, but still has the same functionality.
@Anonymous User No problem, as somone who used to play in the Alpha days recently got back into Minecraft the trapdoors amaze me, one of my favorite items in the game. The fence tricks, being able to easily crawl mine, making smoking chimneys, shelves, tables, and just having so much veriety in styles for different wood types just like the doors. Really a wonderful item
@Oleg That's genius. That would look better than the carpet solution, and preventing mobs from getting knocked out even with knockback is a nice bonus. I didn't even know that you could jump onto a fence with a trapdoor above it. I opened Minecraft just to test if that actually works and was surprised to learn that it does. Thank you internet stranger for teaching me something that I didn't know about one of my favorite games.
Instead of using trapdoors or fences, put a trap door ON a fence. Works just like carpet for you and looks better, plus it's slightly taller than carpet to prevent them accidently getting knocked ontop, and you can further improve this by flipping the trap door up so nothing can accidently get out even with knockback.
If you make lingering weakness arrows, use a piercing crossbow, so you'll only need to craft the arrows once, since the piercing allows you to pick up the arrows behind the zombie villager afterwards, saving you a lot of time and resources in the future
Having started playing Minecraft on Pocket Edition where Redstone works as intended and having recently switched over to Java, the quasi connectivity thing has given me plenty of headaches already 😆 Also the fact that you can't move inventory blocks with pistons, arrrgh!
For the "looting with any weapon" trick, make sure the looting sword is NOT in your off-hand like it says and shows in the video. This trick only works if the looting sword is in your *main* hand, and the alternative weapon (bow) is in the off hand. Doesn't really work with anything else, since all melee weapons will just use the looting sword in your main hand anyways, and tridents tend to be a little weird in my experience when throwing from your off hand.
I actually discovered an arguably easier solution than that to move my Villagers. I built my house right next to the village, then slept and immediately tore down a few of their houses to make a trading hall out of, while it was day. I then built the trading hall and then moved every bed and workstation in the village to the hall, so they'd HAVE to move once night came. After that, I just replaced the wooden doors to the hall with iron doors and buttons during the night.
I honestly didn’t know you could turn mud into clay, I just thought it was “Renewable clay” because it can make bricks that sort of look similar to clay bricks
If you need water and only have mud drip and cauldron you can even collect water. If you on or making skyblock or one block its an interesting mechanic
For Tip #11, that's why I always keep a stack of ender chests within my ender chest, and then one in my inventory for easy access. Should I place one for long term use over a build, I just go in and pick up another for my 'backpack'. Could save you the risk of losing a whole stack.
For Ocean Monuments I bring TNT, redstone blocks, and dirt. place the TNT directly against the wall wherever you want to breach, surround it with 4 dirt blocks, then place the redstone block on the last exposed side. It's completely cut off from water so the explosion is technically happening in air. You get the dirt and redstone back usually, and 3 or 4 TNT is a pretty cheap cost to get instant access to the 3 Guardians.
19:50 the problem with this method is that you have to stop what you're doing and stay put. An advanced version of this method is to throw it diagonally upwards as you sprint jump. It's a little more skill-intensive and higher-risk but it works instantly and can be chained.
For number 27 I actually prefer to use Coloured Wool. If you place Coloured wool on top of a fence or wall, you can jump to that height but no other mob can. Plus you can now Colour Code your animal farms.
About the tip to leave notes on signs, I can share from experience that it is also super helpful for me to write in-game notebooks or journals with a Book & Quill!
Fun fact, potatoes are actually the best crop, mainly because it's easy to multiply them, because even if you only had one potato, breaking a potato actually gives you 3-4 and sometimes just 1, and not only that, unlike wheat, carrots etc, potatos can beat cooked and eaten without having to craft it, or wait for three wheat to make bread, that's why I always look for potatoes, because they're efficient, and will definitely not let you starve on waiting
Tip 49: I usually keep a clock in my inventory (middle slot) so I can glance a little down and see what time it is its especially helpful when mining but also easier then looking in the sky standing still and watching the sun/moon so for me that would be a great item to make home location.
Technically once you unlock the crafting recipe the image in the crafting window for the clock reflects the accurate time. I haven’t made one for many worlds, but this does have the downfall of not being able to glance. However, the trade off of not carrying a clock and it being accessible everywhere at anytime makes it worth it for me
with the arrows of weakness, you can also use them alongside the piercing enchantment or a crossbow so that you don't waste the arrow, allowing you to cure an infinite amount of villagers with just a single arrow of weakness.
If you want an op weapon then use this tip. Make harming II arrows and use piercing. At least in bedrock edition, harming II arrows don’t pay attention to armor like potions and with piercing you can grab them back after you hit your target and they go through players shields.
For tip 33, I'm pretty sure Protection enchant actually reduces instant harming damage, although the armor itself won't. So you very much need more than two, or even three potions to take out a full prot 4 player
For number 32: The villager will only take a new job quickly if it doesnt register an un-used workstation nearby. This includes the barrels of course, so if you are building a villager hall or do this trick make sure every workstation nearby is either taken by a villager or destroyed. They sometimes look at the workstation they want, makint it easier to figure out
I'm not sure if it's the same for Java but if you just put a carpet on top of the fence then you'll be able to hop over without any of the mobs escaping
As for the conversion of dirt to mud, you can take it a step further by using that Piglin Bartering setup you have to get infinite gravel, make it into coarse dirt with some regular dirt, and apply Hoe. Just make sure to keep some of the regular dirt afterwards, and that your gold farm is running smoothly.
#37 You can also do Concrete Casting, as a more colorful alternative. Sure, it takes longer without block update detection (and with it as well, just less so), but it's worth it.
The creeper-proof waterlogged blocks can be used in a lot more ways. Theoretically, you could build all the floors and walls of your house out of upside-down waterlogged stairs, thereby creeperproofing most of your house. Just tested it in creative, works like a charm!
The most underrated item: The minecart with furnace. You can transport a thousand minecarts along a railway with just one minecart with furnace, without a single powered rail. SO underrated.
Most effective trap, make a pit with the walls being stairs faced away from the hole, and a floor of chests, with random floating strings to prevent ender pearls
Before y'all try to make a farm with the charged creeper wither skeleton mechanic, I'd like to mention that you only get one head from a charged creeper explosion, no matter how many mobs are next to it.
tip no. 27: use trapdoors so you can hop through them and animals will stay inside literally putting a carpet over a fence makes player availible to hop through it tip no. 58: in java it works simliraly, the flowers instead of spawning as blocks get into your inventory after bonemealing
The increase crop yield trick only works for potatoes and carrots, since the fortune enchantment only increases the number of seeds we will get, while the crop and seed are the same for these two. If you mine wheats with a fortune tool, you will just get more seeds For the stone cutter trick, in addition to save some material when crafting stairs, using it to make copper blocks will give you 4 times more product, very insane For the flower + bone meal trick, in bedrock edition, mining 2-block high flowers with fortune tools will drop multiple of them, making it a very good way to get yellow, red, pink and magenta dyes
Tip 26: I agree. I used that method to make my house. And instead of crafting bricks, you can also use the stone cutter for make other varieties of bricks, (like stone, deepslate, and others.) The stone cutter is very important.
So fun fact about TNT in Minecraft - it seems to have less downward power, so it would make sense in No. 45 that using a pit can help you survive a blast. I noticed this when I was helping my friend hollow out a mountain - 1 TNT blasted 1 block of stone down and 2-3 blocks of stone in all other directions. Edit: No. 54 Thanks for the tip! Getting lost and unlost is no easy feat, even with a level 4 locator map
re: tip 27, if you've got the wool for it, my go-to fence jump workaround is to just place carpet over the fence! this works on bedrock and java iirc, and only players can jump over it. no mobs!
I have an idea: why not write the base cords on an item in your endet chest. That way not only can you still give your items cool name, but can also recover it if you are completely lost and the item has burned/despawned
I wonder How many years will Skip be able to milk these same videos and keep it interesting At least his voice makes the videos enjoyable, interesting or not :3
with the lingering arrow for weakness, you could get lucky with a fletcher at its highest level having weakness arrow trade, completely cutting out the cost of weakness
Did you know an older versions of Minecraft rails used to be really hard to use, if you had a lot of acceleration and then you had a sharp turn so abruptly it would make it derail in the direction of the acceleration.
I found something once in an ancient city, where if you sprint before crouching you go way faster. Then whenever you slow down again you can uncrouch for a second and speed up again
22:11 I just carry a book and quill and write down coordinates not only to my house but to other places of interest as well (like a pillager outpost or a huge cave). Much more efficient and doesn't require xp or breaking an anvil. If you're worried about losing it just put it in an ender chest and carry that with you.
20:06 I was pvping some people online and I keep seeing them looking up the sky and throwing it on themselves, me on the other hand just look down and throw a potion of speed because I thought it'd be more effeicient, thanks for teaching me that, it's very helpful.
Without this channel i wouldn't be a good builder in the exterior and interior, which truly shows these people want you to have the ideal home or the closest thing to it and give items new, unexpected uses which at least to me is pretty helpful and fun to watch. And pkease continue to make more videos and please pin my comment
A friend and I designed a 100% drop rate wither skelly skull farm that uses lightning mechanics to create tons of charged creepers in the overworld right next to a wither skelly farm in the nether. it's insane
It uses up no durability on tools when mining crops, so you're ok. Using it in the off-hand doesn't work though, for fortune and looting you *always* need the tool in your main hand for the enchantment to actually work.
back when I still played MC PE, I was having fun messing around in a world and I eventually got to the point of having fun with the elytra. I found out that I could fly through one block gaps through some experimenting and pulled it off a few times. I think this is the same world as my quote "did I just throw my meat in the water?"
Be careful with naming items based on your coordinates, because if someone else gets it, they will likely try to take over your base because they know where you are with that item!
@AiThrasherBOI Yep, you have to be very careful about the coordinate naming of the item in Multiplayer, but if you are playing on your own, there are no issues.
In bedrock, if the bonemealed flower is one block below the regular level, it will provide more flowers, even enough to refill a composter to get back the bonemeal
I keep my sword with just fire aspect, no knockback, and use an axe as my primary weapon. Use the sword when I need my looting, and also helps with gathering food. Or the better idea of having a fire aspect as a backup you store when you need food.
Something a lot of people actually don’t know is that you can get fortune on a hoe, to me it saves to have one designated farming tool that has fortune and unbreaking, I usually use an iron hoe with unbreaking 2-3 and at least fortune 1
@Jano_142 I've heard alot of stories about people in wingsuits failing to thread the needle, essentially instead of going through the hole, they go "Splat" instead...
On an old SMP I was on, what I would do is I would breed a bunch of foxes so that they were tamed for me, I’d give them diamond swords/netherite swords (because I had extreme luck with diamonds and netherite on there) and whenever somebody would hit me, there would be thousands of foxes after them with the power of diamond and netherite swords. It’s even better when they’re enchanted lmao
"Using kelp needs a lot of different items, so it can be hard" **Kelp needs kelp, the easiest thing to find ever** "Instead, get yourself silk touch on a pickaxe and find a snowy or ice biome and mine the ice" **Much easier 💀**
Mining faster at the end of your reach is bedrock exclusive... You've already read many comments about bedrock vs java here, so I hope you'll take it into consideration next time! :)
Fire aspect and knock back is ideal for pvp, because knock back is good for combos and fire aspect obscures your opponent’s screen and causes extra damage. I swear it’s so hard to aim at someone while on fire.
Added note to your weakness potions - villagers can sell weakness arrows. So if you get one that does, then all your future villagers will be basically free. Besides the gold.
In 2:01 the ice will cost silk touch what many New players don't have . But kelp is easy to get and farmable, and a lot of new player have gone to the nether so easy soul sand.

@Prismatic Palm Tree lol
@Blue Animator ye... What is it..
@Ironicalyy me
@technoneverdies me
In the new update, they actually removed fall damage for entities on leads. So you don't have to worry about mobs that you're flying around with elytra, dying.
@DotZ-YT not if you re playing on origins server and yiu are weak to water
12:09 or you just put a wool rug over the barrier and BOOM you can step over it
Did he really said shield doesn't protect from Creeper ? Like did he really ? Cuz we all see that he removed the shield before the explosion...
@Osmium nah. it's only for pigs and striders with a saddle. they will take the full fall damage
fun fact: combine pufferfish sensor with stasis chamber to teleport you to your home when there’s an intruder
fun fact: pro tip: did you know
Then both you and the intruder have a jumpscare 😂
@NeonchewiVR well you still get teleported.. as the goal was
What if there more op than u tho

Great tip
For the 12th tip, the F3 screen doesn't exist on Bedrock, but the biome blend setting doesn't exist either.
Also, the door trick for air under water doesn't work in Bedrock either.
@Rafael Muniz yeah its annoying that we can only hold fireworks, arrows, totems and shields
But you can still determine biomes by there sky color
I play on both additions
Having started playing Minecraft on Pocket Edition where Redstone works as intended and having recently switched over to Java, the quasi connectivity thing has given me plenty of headaches already 😆
Also the fact that you can't move inventory blocks with pistons, arrrgh!

as someone who plays on bedrock, you can actually attach leads to boats. making moving villagers ALOT easier 😌
one of the many reasons why mojang loves both equally, they both get exclusive features
Put sand onto then light
an actual shaped charge lol
The demoman
Just place 1 Sand ontop of it and when u light it the Sand becomes a Fallingbostel block an the tnt works in water
Imagine if you could do this with dirt in real life.
@ScalderM rip
Inflation
imagine if dirt was real
@nathan? YOU CAN AND ITS CALLED TURF
you can do it, a different person did a similar thing, they traded sand and rn have a tesla just from trading
19:50 the problem with this method is that you have to stop what you're doing and stay put.

Better alternative to the trapdoor fence trick. Put carpet on top of fences, it lets you jump in and keeps mobs from coming out in the same way.
For number 27 I actually prefer to use Coloured Wool. If you place Coloured wool on top of a fence or wall, you can jump to that height but no other mob can. Plus you can now Colour Code your animal farms.
@KeaneJ123 If you check the replies that was covered. I meant to say Carpet. Just in my head I skipped to saying coloured Wool for some reason.
@Gryzziarth A player actually can't jump over a fence with wool on top of it
@Lynx Oh yea. I guess Carpet works better. In my head saying coloured wool just skipped sayin carpet. I guess everyone has different ideas.
I'm guessing you mean carpet? haha but yes that is a good technique too but i will say that the trapdoor thing IMO looks better than the carpet trick
About the tip to leave notes on signs, I can share from experience that it is also super helpful for me to write in-game notebooks or journals with a Book & Quill!

@colton100350 that is great I do that sometimes but the recipe isn't always accessible because you need a crafting table to make it.

Harming 2 arrows are OP, just get a few loaded crossbows and you can quickly shoot them all.

Yes it is the same on Java
As for the conversion of dirt to mud, you can take it a step further by using that Piglin Bartering setup you have to get infinite gravel, make it into coarse dirt with some regular dirt, and apply Hoe. Just make sure to keep some of the regular dirt afterwards, and that your gold farm is running smoothly.
Or you could just use a fletcher and sticks so you don't need the industrial revolution just to farm emeralds
#37
You can also do Concrete Casting, as a more colorful alternative.
You can also attach a lead to a boat in Bedrock, making moving villagers more efficient.

At least his voice makes the videos enjoyable, interesting or not :3
12:55 I knew you could see water/lava at the right position, but I didn’t know what block height to use. Thank you!
I can’t believe how long ur able to get these video length with zero padding. U r a legend
OMG!! I remember discovering the honey block cage for myself when I was testing a rabbit farm~! This one is a definite big brain move.
To cure even more zillagers u can use the piercing enchantment on a crossbow with a weakness arrow.
I dunno about 1.19+ but if the sword is on the offhand, looting doesnt apply. The bow needs to be on the offhand for looting to work
I love skip the tutorial, his videos are so chill, informative, and mildly humorous
with the lingering arrow for weakness, you could get lucky with a fletcher at its highest level having weakness arrow trade, completely cutting out the cost of weakness
Did you know an older versions of Minecraft rails used to be really hard to use, if you had a lot of acceleration and then you had a sharp turn so abruptly it would make it derail in the direction of the acceleration.

Does off-handing your fortune 3 pick work when "mining" your garden? If so, that would save durability. It would be great to know. Thanks, Skip.
It uses up no durability on tools when mining crops, so you're ok. Using it in the off-hand doesn't work though, for fortune and looting you *always* need the tool in your main hand for the enchantment to actually work.
The 2nd fact of using slow falling for animals is not useful anymore because mojang fixed the momentum collection bug😂
But rest are nice
I wish skip would do more tutorials that we can use bedrock-compatible, as all of theses seem so helpful until he says you need Java.
For tip 49, you should put it on a unbreakable item like a clock or a spyglass for maximum security.
Instead of using trapdoors as a fence to hop it, place a carpet on top of the fence block. You’ll be able to jump it but the animals won’t.
And it’s cheaper
@Nick the V Wdym? It worked just fine for me in both Bedrock and Pocket Edition. The trapdoor needs to be vertical dude
@Lim Kee Cheeand that trick also doesn’t work on bedrock. Bruh.
But animals can go in but not out of trapdoors too bruh

Be careful with naming items based on your coordinates, because if someone else gets it, they will likely try to take over your base because they know where you are with that item!
@Ashy Vlogs I didn't tell you exactly where. (Unless you were talking to someone else)
@Iceresistance bro doxxed himself
@AiThrasherBOI Yep, you have to be very careful about the coordinate naming of the item in Multiplayer, but if you are playing on your own, there are no issues.
This is Minecraft, not Ohio. The worst thing they will do is destroy your base, nothing more, nothing less.
@Ashy Vlogs I live in Central Oklahoma.
I feel like most of these are very niche things that might solve an issue that comes up once or twice in a lifetime, but some of them ate useful.
For Bedrock chest find tips: x and z coordinate must be devideable by 8. then you find it aswell
Something a lot of people actually don’t know is that you can get fortune on a hoe, to me it saves to have one designated farming tool that has fortune and unbreaking, I usually use an iron hoe with unbreaking 2-3 and at least fortune 1
Congratulations 🎉 you won
That 1x1 hole trick is called "Threading the Needle", very dangerous irl too
@Kenny McCormick turns into a fry
@Kenny McCormick Google is your best friend
@Twinfox Isutan 🤨📸
@Jano_142 I've heard alot of stories about people in wingsuits failing to thread the needle, essentially instead of going through the hole, they go "Splat" instead...
Wait a minute, how do you know that it's dangerous irl
On an old SMP I was on, what I would do is I would breed a bunch of foxes so that they were tamed for me, I’d give them diamond swords/netherite swords (because I had extreme luck with diamonds and netherite on there) and whenever somebody would hit me, there would be thousands of foxes after them with the power of diamond and netherite swords. It’s even better when they’re enchanted lmao
on point 60, you can also use a lava bucket for the same job but with added damage and you don't waste durability in the process
Also for the weakness arrow one, combine that with a projecting crossbow
8:30
It’s like the old Alchemist thing of turning lead to gold, but dirt to emeralds.
11:07 I would like to point out that using Fortune 3 on your crops actually doesn't damage your tool AT ALL
Thanks for the information alot. Skip the tutorial is one of my Favorite Minecraft content creators
Outstanding. Quite a few things that I was not aware of that are serious help. Thanks.
On the 27 minute mark, you can use those blue /greenish vines for the nether! They can be place on basically any block!
"Using kelp needs a lot of different items, so it can be hard"
**Kelp needs kelp, the easiest thing to find ever**
"Instead, get yourself silk touch on a pickaxe and find a snowy or ice biome and mine the ice"
**Much easier 💀**

Mining faster at the end of your reach is bedrock exclusive...
You've already read many comments about bedrock vs java here, so I hope you'll take it into consideration next time! :)
Thank god you mentioned the increased mining speed at max distance buff!
Its common knowledge im not joking
XD yeah, pretty sure he's trolling
Fact 68: now instead of using trapdoors for your animal enclosure you can use carpet on top of the fence and it has the same effect a trapdoors
The problem with the naming your main items with your base cordinates is that if someone kills you it knows exactly where your base is
Tip 27 I usually turn wool into carpet you can place it on top of the fence post and jump on it to get in and out but the animals can’t
Nice video, should probably note that #47 has been patched since 1.8 though 😅
Fire aspect and knock back is ideal for pvp, because knock back is good for combos and fire aspect obscures your opponent’s screen and causes extra damage. I swear it’s so hard to aim at someone while on fire.
4:25 - fun fact: keep blocking with the shield to block creeper explosions instead of stopping blocking just before the creeper explodes.
Huh thanks I didn't know that one!
7:02 you can also try to align yourself in the very center, and it’s just the bottom right block when u look down
Tip 10, you can block explosions with shields in latest snapshot. So yes. Its better than fiddling with a boat and mob ai
Ok
Always carry water on you when caving. It will save you in so many different situations, trust me.
"OK, let's try the phasing thing. So if I remember correctly you just stand on the shulker then ope-"
-Last words before disaster
All of these tips are really helpful and have given me some cool ideas for adding into a world or realm. Thank you Skip!
You can also put a carpet on top of a fence to be able to jump over while keeping them in
I use the "Sk" command on bedrock to change the text color/font. The "S" is a double or over lapped letter. So it's two s's in one
Putting a villager in a cauldron on honey could make a cool Halloween build or feature
@Joshua DLC I wasn't but I a am thinking of new players here. After players get stacked, they can easily farm ice.
Fairly veteran player here. Wasn't aware of the ice trick, and that'll make creating water elevators from surface to Deep Dark way easier
This is actually useful! Thank you! I'll be using this in my minecraft world!
i really hope this guy hits 6m subs he deserves it, i watch him everytime i afk farm
fun fact: sprinting on the edge of the block can't make footstep sounds, so it'll be a good sneak up to a friend or perhaps during pvp if you want.
These Minecrafttips and hacks really help a lot ngl, makes me feel such a pro in front of my friends😂
i never thought about naming my tools as coordinates.. feel like i was living under a rock after watching this
This is very useful and helpful for players who need these tips
Hmm what if you align the minecart and boat with perfectly aligned curved rails and pistons to gain more speed as well as blue ice.
