He does the classic, most well-known tricks which is why he can't fool Penn & Teller but his presentation is simply perfection, very entertaining dude...
@Sam Meister Two way street - it also adds a "solid" act in the middle of the FU show, like a half time show that's guaranteed to get everyone relaxed and laughing .
@jack jon true but someone has already used elements of this exact trick to fool them, and I wouldn't expect them to fall for the same thing twice. Now, that isn't to say this isn't one of the best possible representations of those tricks, and stringing them together is clever-- honestly I think there's a lot of inside magician baseball going on here, he uses a few very timeworn (literally 150-year-old tricks, his elephant trunk gag is a version of a sword trick done in the 1800s) bits as obvious misdirection aimed right at magicians. All good magic is about misdirection, but the clever part here is there's the surface-level audience misdirection, but by using well-known tricks every magician knows there's a second level of misdirection aimed strictly at magicians and "smarks" (nonmagicians who know something about common magic tricks, "smart marks"). I feel like if he had a stronger trick at the end of it all, then all the misdirection tricks and pageantry and absurdity would have done the job better.
I would say that piff has succeeded where more skilled magicians have failed, by creating a wonderful and entertaining event with magic at it's center.
One of the most convoluted and ridiculous tricks I have ever seen. With that said I couldn't stop smiling the entire time. Man this is why I am subscribed to you! Such a legend in your own right! Never change!
I saw Piff about 3-4 years ago in Vegas in his theater and it was awesome. Small crowd maybe 20 people and we were up front. We just came from 50 cent beers at Margaritaville an I was middle of the road drunk. I forget what he asked me to do but it involved counting or something like that and all I said was "you can't ask me that I just came from 50 cent beers" and oh man did he make fun of me the whole night haha. Every time he would show a card he would walk up and put it real close to my face and ask me if I know that number. He called me 50 Cent more than once. I was the butt of all the jokes that night. At the end we got a great picture with him and the lady in yellow (his wife? I believe) and he signed some packs of cards for us. Awesome dude awesome lady awesome show. I recommend it to everyone.
I hope you’ll see this but you’ve truly entertained and made so so so many people laugh to tears, you’ve provided so many more laughs and so much more joy then you could ever imagine I’m sure. Thank you Claude ❤
Piff hails from the "just throw as much misdirection as you possibly can at them" school of thought, and at least for me it totally worked because I completely forgot about the $20 until the very very last moment of the show haha
@Lady Dice I don't think the signed card handoff happened with the delivery guy, I think the card dropped when he pulled out the bag of chips and the elephant grabbed it
@Just Jeff The $20 showed back up when Piff tore the card. After having the signed card showed up Piff pointed out the card had been altered and slowly tore an edge reveling an envelope like container with the money inside it. The delivery man was given the money and the signed card. The only part left to do was get the money inside. The card that was signed was a normal playing card. To complete the illusion there was a cover placed over the back of the card. The cover only had glue on the edges allowing for the bill to be put in the middle. It had nothing to do with camera angles since most the magic was happening behind the curtain.
@Lady Dice How did the $20 end up back in play, he definitely gave it to the delivery man. My assumption is we don't get to see when that happens because they change cameras which is annoying, but wondering what you think
@MrSirFluffy Oh yeah I'm sure the yacht was a joke (especially given its name). But I'm thinking Lim definitely posed for a photo for the sake of a photoshop joke and gave Piff his blessing.
Sometimes i fear that magicians will need to do more to entertain solely because Piff. This magic dragon here bring us entertainment more than i ever have watching other magicians.
I just saw Piff’s show live in Vegas. He only did 5 or 6 tricks the whole night, but he was so hilarious and knew how to work the crowd, it was a fantastic show. Far more entertaining than many other magicians who have more “impressive” tricks, but much less personality.
This is proof of how much presentation matters. I love Piff, he's one of my favorite magicians, but I knew he wouldn't win simply because his tricks are classics. Now, that might sound like a bad thing, but it's really not. He presents classic magic tricks in a really fun, funny new way that is so much fun to watch. His tricks just happen to be the kind of thing that Penn and Teller know how to do inside and out, backwards and forwards.
If I remember right those classic routines are cornerstone of magician's craft. Penn & Teller have said that cups n' balls-routine is most important as if magician can entertain audience with such an old routine they know everything about groundwork. Not every magician can be Houdini, Cardini or David Copperfield who pushed it further than ever.
I honestly don’t think he was meant to win from the start. Piff is a magic comedian. He could blatantly show how the magic was done and I would still enjoy his shows
The pizza guy is not the same guy as the elephant. He would not be able to enter the room without Penn, Teller, Alyson or the audience noticing it. Miss Jade Simone brought back the bill, handed it to Piff and Piff handed it to Elfie while Elfie was feeding the elephant rope. Elfie then hid the bill in the card that he previously grabbed when Piff dropped it while not eating nachos. Not sure how Penn managed to sum that all up just using the word 'drag' though.
Yeah, it's kinda weird, because there's only really one trick here which is controlling the three. We see him give the 20 to the guy who goes off and puts it in the modified card (then gives it to him as the elephant), like that part is all so obvious that it feels like part of the joke. Likewise him hiding the deck behind the nachos is very clearly telegraphing shenanigans. It's the manic bizarre performance of it that's the show, not the misdirection. And like, it's amazing! I want to see more of that, that's not at all a criticism. But it can't possibly be an element he's trying to fool them with. So it ends up just being a question of, how does he control the three to hand it off in the first place. There are so many ways to accomplish that, it seems odd to think you'd fool Teller with that alone, and he knows them both really well. He can't possibly be actually trying to fool them here, can he? I think, honestly, the publicity he gets from this (deservedly!) is probably the main reason for it. Unless there's some other small element that's hard to do that I'm missing? Either way, one of the best acts I've seen on this show.
@Suzanne Nichols He's won multiple awards , including close-up magic, over the last 2 decades in multiple countries and has developed illusions for other magicians, including Penn & Teller. He's as good a magician as any. Pretending to be a doofus is part of the comedic element of his act.
An absolute comedic genius! His show girl assistant Jade, besides being an absolute goddess, compliments his act so perfectly with her facial expressions and energy. Edit: Just discovered that Jade is his wife. I am speechless. The dragon landed a princess!
This might be the funniest act I've seen in 8 years of Fool Us. Literally laughed out loud throughout the act. I'm making it a point to see him live next time I'm in Vegas.
I believe I have watched every magic trick done on this show and posted on KZclip. Have I seen some awesome tricks that have fooled Penn and Teller absolutely. Have I ever had such a good time and laughed until I almost peed myself not even close oh, well except for possibly the first time I saw Piff perform. I think the views speak for themselves. People adore him and so do I.
@Andrew Zink Yup, same here! The first time I took a picture with him he asked where I was from and told a joke about it and just seemed real cool. The second time, I was towards the back of the line and I think he was just tired but it's still cool he takes pictures with EVERYONE who wants to, FOR FREE! Nobody else does that. (Of course the $7 bottled water was nowhere near free, but I doubt he has control over that. Heh.)
Absolutely worth it. Great show and an awesome dude despite his stage persona. When I saw him about two years ago he came out after the show and took pictures with everyone who asked. There was a line, he stayed until everyone had a chance to say hello, and was gracious when my girlfriend and I told him how much we loved it.
Some magicians come up with a great revolutionary trick that is so well done it's amazing. They spend years perfecting the moves and when they come on stage they have very well rehearsed somewhat robotic movements and patter. Then you have Piff the Magic Dragon. Someone who has perfected casual patter, essentially a comedian with magic props. Does very basic magic, but entertains the shit out of you.
How can one dragon have so much talent? The comedy, the magic, the performance and showmanship... Not to mention his bloody disguise skills damn. This dragon is gonna fly to even more places.
I remember watching Piff on the first Fool Us he was in. I loved everything about his style and presentation. He is perhaps one of the best comedy magicians I have ever seen. I then watched his meteoric rise after. I am so glad he has done well. I am happy to see him back.
Haven't watched anything from you in years, and I forgot how fantastic of a performer you are. Great comedy, great amounts of effort and heart gone into everything. Hope to see you win it one of these days, you definitely deserve it.
Piff's routines aren't about using new and original tricks. He's more about the performance and entertainment aspect. And that's why people love him so much.
I gotta say, Piff. You are my favorite magic dragon, bar none. Such a great act. So much humor, so much magic, so much determination. You may not have fooled them this time, but I genuinely hope you will continue to hone your magic talent and continue to be on the show. I would pay $20 to see your act I'd probably pay $100 to be able to just have a chat. After all, I have an alter-ego. A Pikachu.
I remember seeing you all the way back in your first appearance and instantly becoming a fan- It's so great to see you smash it out there, I've seen you live and that was fantastic too- I think you embody why this is the best talent show on TV: doesn't matter if you fool them really, you "win" anyway because people like me get to see you and become fans- So I wouldn't be mad to see you come back every year because even if you fail to ever fool them we still have great tricks and great fun along the way!
Honestly, although I'd like to see all of them, if given a choice between seeing a talent that has fooled Penn and Teller and Piff...I'm seeing Piff every time.
OMG this was too hilarious. That must have been a trip to put together that trick given just how absurdly convoluted it was. Crazy too how much the overall persona improved over these past ten years.
one of the most original comedy magicians i've ever seen. it's just about the right amount of comedy, most people nowdays over-do with comedy and just turn it into a dumb clown fiesta, but this was just about right. But yeah well .. hard fooling them with a card trick. Even tho you threw in all the comedy and non essential stuff, like bananas and pizza delivery and chips, it's still a basic card force and they know it well.
@Vincent Rapier +1 For Amazing Jonathan ... That dude is well, Amazing. His magic is also basic but the jokes are hilarious and the presentation is on point.
If you like piff, you should also look up The Amazing Jonathan. Dude was the first Magician comedian I had ever seen and to this day I go back and look at his stuff.
I remember seeing you at the Edinburgh Fringe at least 10 years ago and absolutely loving you and your energy! It’s been incredible watching your career as it’s become more and more well known. Great work as always!
not the best magician, but by far one of the best magic acts and performers out there. I have been a huge fan for years. Glad he is still going.. well done Piff...
Alyson picking and signing a 3 of clubs was a soft force, and a pretty ballsy choice. Penn and Teller use the 3 of clubs as their iconic card for whenever they do that. Whenever someone picks a card, any card, that card is always 3 of clubs. Signing made it not matter, but still cool to see the reference.
Piff may have planted the three but in the end it didn't matter what card Alyson chose all that was needed was a way to hide his passing the bill and card to the assistant in the tent so they could slap a second top on the card, drop the $20 bill in between, and prep it appear at the end of the trunk.
@Cheesus Sliced Doubtful it's a coincidence, especially since they're old friends... a wink seems pretty on point. Even without fancy sleights, it's very simple to do using rough and smooth as long as you can convince them to keep going. And if not, no biggie--either it was just a wink and it's ok if the card ends up different, or if it is important that it be the 3 of clubs he just DOES MORE NONSENSE and she ends up with that card anyway. (I mean can you imagine adding multiple outs on top of a trick like this? You'd never be able to guess that it was happening.)
I don't think it was actually a force, just coincidence. When they let you stop or keep going it's usually to show it's not a force. That said, he slipped the card out and put a sticker on the back, and having her count out the cards to verify one was missing was probably a bad move
You are one of the greats and watching you is always an absolute joy. I hope I can see you live one day. You've definitely won all of our hearts and respect so I don't necessarily think you need the trophy.......who am I kidding?! You deserve a damn trophy!
His tricks are quite easy to catch on and see what he is doing.... but the reason I like him is not for the "magic" element of his performance but because his performance are always extremely entertaining and funny :D
You can tell by the intro and how he's treated in this show that he's kinda just the show's fall guy. They know he's going to be entertaining, they know he's going to leave the episode better than it would've normally been, but they also don't have to worry about giving him a trophy so he'll always come back to try again. I don't know if it's good or not but it feels more like he's an independent employee of the show than an actual contestant.
how many people who win their first time become permanent guests of their act? thats how cutting edge piff is, he is literally what they are studying and learning.
I don't know how this is gonna come across as, but Piff is a genuine savant, in his own right. Creativity, comedy (both performance/acting and writing), magic, timing, wits, branding, etc. This guy is just genuinely smart and sharp. Makes me so proud and happy to see that somebody can flourish so beautifully in a craft so far removed from my own. May Piff the Magic Dragon bless our skies for as long as he finds us interesting!!
Dude that was a pretty cool trick. Always good to see your performances as they are so original and interesting. It’s also good to see how well you get on with them.
Still love your entertainment to this day, Piff. Know that you have tons of fans out there that still pay good money to see you! I had a blast being that grey fox that attended your show in Jacksonville, FL a few years back.
you have me in absolute bits.. . can't stop laughing at the innocent humour. . .. this is absolute gold. ... can't name any magicians, other than Piff the Magic Dragon . ... mad kudos, dude. ... you're awesome --!
Love Piff and his friendship with Penn, and his respect for Teller... He's always funny on Penns Sunday School, and his interplay with the late Johnny Thompson...
This is the first time I'm seeing piff. People could pay any amount of money to go see you put on a show and it would be worth whatever that money is. that was awesome man
Such an awesome performance Piff! such a witty routine. Would love to come see your show, if I ventured all the way to Vegas from Melbourne, Australia! You should tour out here sometime!
Piff is as much comedy as magic, and a master showman who keeps coming up with original trick after original trick (or at least his own twist on classic tricks). Whenever I find a new Piff bit, I just hit PLAY and wait for the magic! You can't tell me that's not real magic that no one can explain.
Even without a trophy or a relic... still an amazing performer.. especially coming from the greats ..still a good magician.. never stop never give up always persue your dreams...✌️✌️💜
Piff will never fool them...aside from being close friends with Penn and Teller he also is their consultant and has helped them develop some of their illusions. Piff is a fantastic magician but he won't fool them nor would they fool him because they know how the other thinks.
Watching so many performances with props and silliness, though the magic isn't usually really complicated it's a delightful display that oozes personality.
i knew how you did it
Holy sh- now this is a magical moment
For the record Piff got away with the $20 without Penn and Teller noticing so he did fool them.
He did get signatures
But did they actually go for dinner
@Zoran Matic that wasn't the only time
He didn't leave empty-handed LOL
Thats the real trick, thats all he wanted anyway
Piff is one of those rare magicians where the trick doesn't matter, because everything he does is entertaining.
I love the "Oh we're also having dinner tomorrow night"
Piff: "yes great, I'm free"
as he casually walks off. It's the best touch.
Thats the bit. Thats the cream on the pie. Nicely done by penn and Pff
💜
E
Some magicians are masters of illusion. Piff is a master of confusion 🐉
Like Gammaray
😂😂😂
And convolusion
Piff in this performance is more like a jester than a Magician to be honest, between being a comedian and a magician but not quite either.
Lol
He does the classic, most well-known tricks which is why he can't fool Penn & Teller but his presentation is simply perfection, very entertaining dude...
@Sam Meister Two way street - it also adds a "solid" act in the middle of the FU show, like a half time show that's guaranteed to get everyone relaxed and laughing .

@Spring Bloom - Again, I said that is TYPICALLY how the trick is performed and also as I said before, there is more than one way to skin a cat.
@SiViX
Its the same card. Neither the card, nor the $20, went anywhere. You were supposed to think it did.
@SiViX
Against the rules. Everything is on-stage.
I would say that piff has succeeded where more skilled magicians have failed, by creating a wonderful and entertaining event with magic at it's center.
I'd argue that it is comedy that is at its center, as he could do this act cleaning your house and it would be the same entertainment.
One of the most convoluted and ridiculous tricks I have ever seen. With that said I couldn't stop smiling the entire time. Man this is why I am subscribed to you! Such a legend in your own right! Never change!
Iioi
Were can I subscribe to piff my dudes amazing always stay amazing brother
@theKWOKA well aside from Shin Lim
@101 Design He loves you too :)

@Ronnie- SillyMe05 " had seen" :)
@Ronnie- SillyMe05 what a random ass thing to clue in that y’all were at the same show years ago. LMFAO
@James Lawlor 64 and counting now
@Piff the Magic Dragon This comment has 50 likes. perfect 👌
@Piff the Magic Dragon I do what I can. Keep up the good work
The real magic is how Teller made those elephants disappear between 11:55 and 11:58
I am now very amused and confused.
Teller's sleight of hand is insane
he really is sneaky
The incredible magic of "having hands that can throw things to the floor"
holy shit
I hope you’ll see this but you’ve truly entertained and made so so so many people laugh to tears, you’ve provided so many more laughs and so much more joy then you could ever imagine I’m sure. Thank you Claude ❤
I'd rather be entertained than "fooled". That being said, I was very much both with this one. Piff is pure class.

Ooo that's cool
Getting Shin Lim for that first joke was the greatest power move.
The fact that he does shows in Vegas means he doesn't really need that trophy after all. He's already a career magician :-D
I started the video over because of that lmao
@Jaydoggy Don't forget about the first pen "vanish" smoke-blowing gesture. Hillarious.
@MrSirFluffy Oh yeah I'm sure the yacht was a joke (especially given its name). But I'm thinking Lim definitely posed for a photo for the sake of a photoshop joke and gave Piff his blessing.
I'm not sure if the pic is real, but I am sure they have met. They both do shows in Vegas.
Sometimes i fear that magicians will need to do more to entertain solely because Piff. This magic dragon here bring us entertainment more than i ever have watching other magicians.
Honestly one of the best acts. He his hilarious and watching Penn and Teller have that much fun themselves is a riot
I couldn't help but laugh when Penn laughed, he seriously enjoyed the act
1:22 Penn's face of just pure amusement as Claude The Regular Dragon strolls out and introduces himself is absolutely priceless 😂😭
I love how you can tell from the way Penn talks to Piff at the end that they really are good friends.

The humor on this guy is amazing. Forcing the 3 of Clubs when Penn is in the room is just a nice touch

@Richard Norris Yeah, he even forced the 3 of clubs, which is Penn and Teller's very own favourite force card, a joke especially for them :)
Considering that the keyword that Pen used was "drag" and Piff is a drag-on Piff might have just constructed a very elaborate pun.
I wanna see more of that Claude guy. He seemed cool.
But where did he go?
I wanna see more of Piff's assistant.
@Jacob Bissey yeah, Steve. Never heard of him ever again. Might be doing some shows in Australia or something...what a stand up guy.
@B4PH0M3T DK Steve, right? Real stand up guy, Steve.
Must be one of Piffs older brothers, we all know one of them.
An absolute comedic genius! His show girl assistant Jade, besides being an absolute goddess, compliments his act so perfectly with her facial expressions and energy. Edit: Just discovered that Jade is his wife. I am speechless. The dragon landed a princess!
normally I would say "simp" here but if you are simpin so am I since I agree 100 percent
♥️

Agreed!!

“Yeah, I’m free” killed me. 😂🤣
@CerealPirate dinner tomorrow night
What did Penn say just before that? Can't really understand him
Best part of the whole thing 😂

I remember watching Piff on the first Fool Us he was in. I loved everything about his style and presentation. He is perhaps one of the best comedy magicians I have ever seen. I then watched his meteoric rise after. I am so glad he has done well. I am happy to see him back.
The amount of energy in this performance is insane, it was captivating from beginning to end.
That was like a Norm McDonald joke haha. Terribly long, nobody knows where it ends, but it's always hilarious.
Haven't watched anything from you in years, and I forgot how fantastic of a performer you are. Great comedy, great amounts of effort and heart gone into everything. Hope to see you win it one of these days, you definitely deserve it.

@Lauri Pajunen Well, theres Piff, Puff, Steve... i know enough. xD
...so I take it you know many magic dragons, Piff just happens to be your favourite?
Now that's a performance. One that you find yourself smiling throughout the entire video but don't realize until your cheeks hurt
This is a surrealist masterpiece
Penn always has such a bright smile on his face when Piff is around lol
I always enjoy watching him😂😂
Always a fantastically entertaining show. Fooled or not you are a better stage performer than almost every other magician on here.
Are you suggesting Elfie forged their signatures, then?
I remember seeing you at the Edinburgh Fringe at least 10 years ago and absolutely loving you and your energy! It’s been incredible watching your career as it’s become more and more well known. Great work as always!
This dude is flat out funny. His magic tricks are just there as the excuse to get this dude on stage. Get him on award shows
not the best magician, but by far one of the best magic acts and performers out there. I have been a huge fan for years. Glad he is still going.. well done Piff...
He is something else. Comedic genius and magician. I love his whole attitude.
Sometimes the magic is just how good of a show the magician puts on. He’s a great magician but I think an even better slapstick comedian. 😂
Maybe you didn't win the trophy, but you definitely win my heart with this show
I love how you casually walk off the stage eating a banana. HAHAHAHA You didn't fool them but you sure did entertain a lot of people.
This is now one of my favorite magic acts ever. It’s sooo random and messy that it’s just wonderful.
The magic of Piff is that he actually makes comedy and magic work together perfectly, he is in a category of his own.
You'd never be able to guess that it was happening.)
except she skipped a number and messed up, there were actually 52 cards that she counted.
The chips were definitely a mis direction to that soft force.
With quick moves and slick tricks dominating magic the last 30 years, Piff brings a lovey mix of buffoonery, misdirection, and comedy.
I love how Piff always incorporates casually eating during his acts. It's like Brad Pitt in Oceans 11.
Piff is similar to Penn and Teller in that the story is more important to trick than the actual illusion.
You were not lying about that being the most convoluted mess, they' shoulda just given you the trophy, poor Alyson lmfao!!!
@Argus AI yes… hahaha
@kimball choo a Chinese hacker?
Lmfao? Is he a secret agent?
people keep saying that magic is not real but I swear the relationship between Piff and Penn & Teller is the purest form of magic
Couple of minutes after the video ended I'm still smiling wide. Dude, you're hilarious!🤘🏻
You're amazing, Piff. I loved your first appearance on Fool Us, and you're still killing it.
Ridiculously good as always, can't wait to see the next appearance in 10 years!
His tricks may not have fooled them, but his showmanship is just fantastic.
you have me in absolute bits.. . can't stop laughing at the innocent humour. . .. this is absolute gold. ... can't name any magicians, other than Piff the Magic Dragon . ... mad kudos, dude. ... you're awesome --!
Piff is just naturally funny and a great crowd pleaser
I’ve been a big fan ever since his first time on Penn and Teller. His stage presence is so good.
Love Piff and his friendship with Penn, and his respect for Teller... He's always funny on Penns Sunday School, and his interplay with the late Johnny Thompson...
I love watching this guy. I never stop laughing and am always amazed when he pulls off an insane trick like this.
The creativity bar was raised with that performance, well played!
Piff is as much comedy as magic, and a master showman who keeps coming up with original trick after original trick (or at least his own twist on classic tricks). Whenever I find a new Piff bit, I just hit PLAY and wait for the magic! You can't tell me that's not real magic that no one can explain.
Piff's so funny! I always enjoy watching him perform! Forget the Full Us trophy Piff, you need an Oscar.
Diana Dia: Piff needs an Oscar.
Academy people: Piff..... Is that a new actor we didnt hear of? :-)
You're not a magician, you're an entertainer, and one of the best comedians I've seen in years.
Even without a trophy or a relic... still an amazing performer.. especially coming from the greats ..still a good magician.. never stop never give up always persue your dreams...✌️✌️💜
Piff is hilarious. Even if he can't fool them he sure as hell confused them. And the rest of us.
Another one that made my brain hurt and so I like it lol clearly that banana delivery gentleman deserves a round of applause as well.
This was so funny I love his sense of humor. Having Allison count the cards while he orders pizza, shit had me rolling
90% performance, 10% magic, can't say it's the wrong ratio and certainly better than the other way around.
Piff is hands down one of my favorite entertainers of all time! Huge fan🙌🏾
Seriously the most entertaining act on this show, always.
Absolutely terrific. I'm glad Piff is doing well.
My face hurts from smiling so much. Thank you sir Piff.
That was the best non stop laugh performance from first sec of your intro to the very end! I loved every second of it!
Piff will never fool them...aside from being close friends with Penn and Teller he also is their consultant and has helped them develop some of their illusions. Piff is a fantastic magician but he won't fool them nor would they fool him because they know how the other thinks.
I have never laughed as hard as I when I saw him live in a small theater in Vermont. Class act all the way.
Piff is *exactly* the kind of magician I want to perform at my bachelor party (And he can absolutely bring his stage assistant if he fancies!).
I love that sympathetic and slightly aggressive shoulder petting as everybody's favorite dragon gets sadder and sadder.
I mean, I kept up with the tricks, but the performance was one of the most unique I've ever seen and hilariously entertaining
I can’t believe it’s been 10 years I’ve been a fan of piff for 10 years how can u not love this dude 😂
The cameraderie between Piff and P&T is heartwarming. 🏆🏆🏆
😂😂 I love piff he never fails to crack me up
Watching so many performances with props and silliness, though the magic isn't usually really complicated it's a delightful display that oozes personality.
