I feel like Kidd, Killer, Heat, and Wire are still alive, but their crew is over. It feels like there is simultaneously just too much built up while not enough build up for Kidd and Killer in particular, with Kidd's magnet magnet fruit and the magnetic field of Loadstar Island, and Killer's connections to Smile fruits and Chopper's current inability to cure smile fruits. These are their equivalent Chekoves gun to Law's eternal youth surgery. Also, I don't think it's Blackbeard himself; it would make more sense with the Ohara connections to Egghead that it would be Kuzan/Aokiji. It still seems way too early for final war to begin, as Oda has been avoiding having the 4 emperors together, we still don't know what Buggy is doing with Cross Guild. It may just be because I see final war as the use of the One Piece to achieve Luffy and Roger's shared true dream, something Roger could not do without the One Piece - which he was too early to use. It seems like we still need to go to Elbaf to complete Ussopp's goal and get a Robin and Saul moment, then to Loadstar (dragging a near useless Kidd aboard, similar to Punk Hazard and Dressrosa carried a useful Law aboard), followed by the mad dash to Laughtale, and the the rounding up of the alliance need for final war. Starting final war now seems as likely as Paramount war was in Enies Lobby or Sabbaody- a Strawhat retreat followed by a build up to a massive climax. We are in final saga but not final arc; Egghead = Sabaody but not Paramount war, so what = Amazon Lily, Impel Down, and Paramount war?, plus we arguably still haven't gotten a good parallel to Long Ring Long Land, except the fan theory that its weird stretching and happiness is a result of a logia-like effect of gear 5's previous user. The problem with the Big Mom situation is, we have seen her since Wano, just not in a way people realize. Zeus still exists. We spent a large portion of Fishman Island re-setting-up that if a Devil Fruit user dies, the things affected by their power stop being affected (except for logias affecting islands). We saw that KO-ing a Devil Fruit user has a similar but weaker effect - see Moria and Sugar. We never saw the returning of souls with Big Mom's defeat, despite seeing it with Moria and Sugar (no look at Toto Land since her defeat, and the Wano homies didn't have any mention beyond not being able to save her before the big wave washed everyone up). Plus, Zeus isn't just a normal Homie, but one made with Big Mom's soul in particular, meaning his existence is tied to her survival, rather than just a KO; unless you want to claim the soul soul fruit is a logia, or is a special paramecia with logia properties like Kayakuri's mochi mochi fruit.

The amount of relief when I read that Luigi's story arc is about standing up to his fears and stepping out of Mario's shadow was unfathomable. The promos have been implying that he spends the entire movie waiting to be saved. If Illumination were idiots, that would have been the case. the thing that really struggled in BOTW that Genshin took advantage of was that battles after the first 20-30 hours became very formulaic and samey. hopefully these adjustments bring that missing piece.
