Love the whole trilogy… but Rise is without doubt my favorite.

There were three types of Hobbit-kind: the Harfoots, Stoors and Fallohides. When the first war of the ring broke out these groups migrated west where a king let them live in the lands that once were hunting grounds, and thus became the Shire.

Youre in for a ride cuz this is the definitive trilogy and only gets better from here.

I like how you over-react to the possibility that dogs might be pretend harmed in training. But the potential drowning, squashing or killing of the actual trainees didn't even get a mention. Eggsy's dad died in the final training mission, after all. Other reactors have mentioned the little baby being attacked or the princess' tastes. I guess we all have something that might be too far of a line.

the cast on this is just overall splendid, the cinematography is absolutely STUNNING (people online still talk about THAT hand flex years later and yes, that's why they showed his hand later as well, it's the first time they touched and it clearly had an effect on him), the soundtrack is so gorgeous as well and the empowerment and feminism is quite close to the book, which, considering the time it was written, is absolutely forward! some of the scenes are just pure art (the dancing scene when everyone else suddenly disappears, the one where she stands on top of a mountain, the changing of the seaons when lizzie sits on the swing, the ending on the moors...so many!) and the chemistry, the jokes...it's SUCH a good film and not, as many might think, just "shallow romantic kitch" Love that you enjoyed it so much despite it not being on your, shall we say, usual list of movies :D Loved the reaction, what an absolute pleasure!

In my 20 years age I have watched it at least 30 times and every time I dont get bored

Andy Serkis doesn’t get enough credit for the next level physical acting. He’s a true artist of his craft.

Personally the original planet of apes is my favorite. It focus more on philosophy and science questions without directly answering them. But this movie hit all the right marks for me to love it as a scifi movie.

I love how he said he pulled a Smeagol when Ceasar bit the guys finger and I laugh cause it's Andy Serkis that plays both.

I'm with you Mason! Whole movie gave me serious anxiety! Actually, the whole trilogy and even the original with Charles Heston! I watched those when I was young and the horror of it all.... it's a world I hope will never happen in real life.
