I'm usually not one to comment but I just wanted to thank you for sharing. A lot of what you said really resonated with me. Hearing about you maybe readjusting your priorites was kind of freeing because I've never allowed myself to prioritise personal stuff over career stuff either and somehow knowing that you are taking steps towards a more healthier balance shows me that it's ok to do so, if that makes sense. Like there's nothing wrong with not being defined and existing for your career only and that other things are just as important. So, genuinely, thank you.

It's so funny as I'm 34 in November and honestly when I saw my mum for the first time in a while and she had liver sports on her hands... it really hit me... in my mind she's been 50 for my whole life.... I also think if i have been present enough... must be a mid 30's thing!

I am currently abroad in Euroup and my teacher was surprised that we only have 2 weeks of vacation and that a lot of us start working when we are in our teens. Apparenty it is very lax here and people just live life. I hope that you can just live your life they way would like to!
